Chapter 49

(Normal POV – With Kara and Bumblebee)

Kara paced back and forth talking to Bee about the situation; until it hit her like a lightning bolt.

"Oh my God, why didn't I think of this sooner?" she asked herself confusing Bumblebee in the process.

"What is it; what's wrong?" Bumblebee asked her.

"She needs to be turned Cybertronian," Kara said as Bumblebee stared at her oddly.

"That's not possible I don't think," Bumblebee said.

"Yes, it is." Kara answered.

"Huh…..How?" he asked but secretly loving that idea; because then Kara could be transformed as well.

"There's an object called The Seed; and it can turn things Cybertronian." Kara explained.

"Okay, so how do we find it?" Bumblebee asked her.

Kara bit her bottom lip then; and wasn't aware how to say the next part to Bumblebee.

::::::::…. Optimus you need to come over to where we are; Kara has an idea on how to save Kathy…..::::::::: Bumblebee sent through his commlink

:::::::::::…..She does? I will be right then, Bee…..::::::

:::::::…. Good hurry, Optimus…..:::::::: Bumblebee urged.

:::::::::… Okay I am coming…..:::::::::: Optimus sent through the commlink.

Optimus had started to walk rather briskly over to where Bumblebee and Kara were waiting; and was there within seconds. Kara saw Optimus right away and noted the hope shining in his optics right away.

"Miss. Bennett, you know of a way to save Kathleen?" Optimus asked her.

"Well, there is a thing called The Seed; and it can change anything organic into a Cybertronian." she said.

"Where can this Seed be located?" Optimus asked hope registered in his voice pattern.

Silence erupted then; which confused Optimus greatly.

"Miss. Bennett…?" he asked.

"That's the thing; it belongs to someone right now." Kara replied.

Optimus frowned, he didn't like where this appeared to heading.

"Who has it?" he asked.

Silence…

"Miss. Bennett…?" Optimus started to say impatiently.

"Lockdown has it," Kara finally answered as Optimus froze.

Silence erupted from Optimus and Bumblebee both.

"The bounty hunter….?" Optimus finally asked her.

"Yeah," she said as he sighed.

Oh scrap….

"I will need to think on this information, but for now I am going back to be with Kathleen. When she is stable enough then I will converse with Sentinel and Megatron about this new development and how to handle it. We need this Seed because perhaps we can transform you, Miss. Summers, Miss. Winters, as well as the others with us." Optimus said as he started back for where Kathy was.

(With Kathy and Tina)

I opened my eyes and I saw Tina's hand in my one hand; while my other hand was firmly in Optimus' holoform's hand and they were both sound asleep. I smiled sadly but didn't wake them; I figured Optimus must have been feeling guilty for what he'd done.

I glanced down at his hand in mine; I couldn't lie I really cared for him since I first watched Transformers. He held a special place in my heart and knowing he was real; and that I had a chance to be with him for as long as I had meant a lot to me.

I know I probably should have been mad at him; but I didn't want to spend whatever time I had left holding onto stupid grievances I just wanted to spend time with him now and my friends and family.

I tightened my hold on his hand and smiled to myself; while I turned my head and saw one of the sparklings had somehow gotten close to me.

"Hey little guy," I said as it clicked and chirped at me.

Sparklings were so cute. It snuggled next to me and yet neither Tina nor Optimus woke up; I just smirked and closed my eyes once more.

(KSI headquarters)

James Savoy stared at Attinger then his own fury building up.

"That girl killed my men and I am just supposed to sit by and not say anything; she's some sort of damn freak with the ability to move things at will." Savoy retorted with sourness in his voice.

"You also said it weakens her, perhaps we can use that to our advantage." Attinger said.

"And do what with it, she isn't Cybertronian." Savoy demanded.

"She's a danger, but she's not the real problem. I told you my creations went awry and now they claimed to work for someone named Unicron!" Joshua Joyce shouted. "I am not happy right now, Attinger not at all; and where's your damn friend or whatever he is to you that bounty hunter?" Joshua Joyce demanded.

"Patience, just give him patience alright?" Attinger remarked.

Though, even Attinger had to admit things were not going according to plan now and he didn't like that at all.
