Chapter 51

(Normal POV – Kathy, Kara, Chelsea and Tina's dimension)

A young woman sighed as she got error after error message that her friend's email didn't exist; she was ready to bang her head against the desk. Kate Latcher was friends with Kathy Carter it seemed like forever online; but then they had met offline and became fast friends ever since. They had met in the Fan fiction site; Kate adored Kathy's fan fictions.

Kate was 5'8" not excessively thin but not super fat either. Dark brown hair with Carmel brown highlights and hazel eyes with a fair skin tone. Kate's personality was so very much similar to the Autobot's cranky medic Ratchet, a dry sense of humor, don't take crap from anyone, and tell things how they are no beating around the bush. Very loyal and caring to those she cared about. Can be very sarcastic when she wanted to be something most people would find annoying; except those that loved her completely.

"Okay Kat, where the hell are you?" Kate mumbled as she heard a knock on her apartment door.

She cringed at that. She figured it would be her landlord who she owed a bit of money too. She had just lost her job and she knew she wouldn't be able to pay the next rent. She had been trying to contact Kathy, because her friend had said they had enough room and if she ever needed a hand just call. She didn't want to seem like she was taking advantage of their friendship but she really needed that favor now.

"Yeah, I'm coming," Kate mumbled as she reached the door and her hand grazed over the handle opening the door.

There stood a strange guy, and Kate stared at him oddly.

"Can I help you?" she asked.

"I am Victor I am the cabbie; I am here to take you to where your friend is." he said as Kate looked shocked.

"Wait, how did you know?" she asked shocked.

"You'd be surprised what I know, make sure you pack some things as you will not be returning." he said as she stared at him and shrugged.

"Whatever I can't afford this place anymore anyway," Kate replied as she went to pack up her duffle bag.

"Just your favorite things please, we do not have a lot of time." he said as she glanced at him.

"Alright whatever," Kate said.

Kate made sure she placed her charging laptop into its case, and she smiled and tossed her favorite things into the duffle bag.

Kate thought this was strange; but perhaps Kathy had asked this guy to pick her up. So, her doubts had vanished like the wind on a blistery day; and she continued to pack.

"Do you think we can come back after to get anything I've missed?" Kate asked.

He glanced at her then and said with a sigh.

"No femme, you will need to take everything now." Victor said.

She gaped at him; but nodded.

"You called me the Cybertronian name for girls; I take it you're a Transformers fan too?" Kate asked.

"You have no idea," Victor said with a chuckle as Kate frowned.

"Do you know Kathy Carter?" Kate asked.

"Yes and also Kara Bennett, Chelsea Winters and Tina Summers," Victor replied.

"Alright," she replied as she finished and packed up and then headed out with Victor.

However as they went out her apartment door something happened and Victor realized they already passed through the ripple just as a guy came out of his apartment door. He had on a skull ring exactly like James Savoy did in Age of Extinction; it wasn't James Savoy however it was one of Cemetery Wind just not James Savoy.

The man glanced over and saw Kate and Victor and he happened to notice Kate's Autobot insignia tattoo on her arm and his eyes narrowed.

"We'd best be going right now, Kate Latcher," Victor said as they headed to his cab while the guy made a quick phone call to James Savoy.

Kate threw her stuff in the backseat of the cab and when she was safely inside the cab; Victor took off while Kate turned her head and noticed they were being followed.

"Someone is following us, why?" Kate asked in a confused tone.

"I would say because of your Autobot tattoo, Miss. Latcher," Victor said.

"Look Victor…."

"My name is Vector not Victor; I am Vector Prime I got your friends to the Autobots." Vector said. "The human behind us is with Cemetery Wind," Vector said.

"What?" Kate demanded. "Did you slip off your medication or something?" Kate demanded as suddenly the vehicle in back of them started to fire at them. "Holy shit, they are shooting at us, what the hell is their malfunction?" Kate demanded.

"Call your friend right now; let her know we need back up." Vector said.

"Wait, hold up if you're a Prime can't you just you know do something to them?" Kate asked.

"No, I cannot just please do as I say, Miss. Latcher." Vector urged as Kate pulled out her phone.

"Can't they trace the call?" she asked suddenly.

"No, I will block it, now just do it please." Vector said as Kate rolled her eyes.

"You know, for a Prime you're awful bossy," Kate mumbled.

Vector just rolled his eyes back and sped up; while Kate called Kathy on her cell phone.

Kathy glanced down at her cell phone; as her eyes widened in disbelief she was getting a phone call on her cell?

"Who is it?" Kara asked.

Kathy looked at the name on the ID and she gasped.

"Kate Latcher," Kathy said as she answered the phone.

"Kat look don't worry the call can't be traced, we need help I am with Vector Prime he was bringing me to where you are. We are being followed by Cemetery Wind; we could use a little help if you know what I mean?" Kate said just as Kathy received a blinding vision showing their exact location just like it had before when she got the vision about Sunstreaker.

It showed her everything and she in turn told her friends.

"Alright, I will get some help just hold tight, alright?" Kathy said as she went to get up and fell to the ground weakened badly.

"Kat…!" Kara, Chelsea and Tina exclaimed at the same time.

"You are so not going anywhere," Kara remarked as Optimus walked up.

"What the slag happened?" Optimus demanded gently picking up his human.

"She got a phone call from her friend who is with Vector Prime just like we were, but Cemetery Wind is after them." Chelsea said.

"Stay here," Optimus ordered.

"O-Optimus, I have to go, you have no idea what she looks like." Kathy said as he sighed.

"No using that power," Optimus ordered.

"But what if you are in danger?" she asked.

"I mean it, Kathleen, no using it right now." Optimus said as he transformed and opened his door as Sentinel transformed as well, Megatron and Ironhide as well as the Trine.

"Let's roll out," Optimus ordered.

Kathy got into Optimus' cab and sighed; but Optimus didn't want to hear it he wanted her protected. He didn't care if she pouted or sighed; she was his responsibility and he would protect her with his life now.
