It was a week since Indy, Henry, Brody, and the girls came back to England from Jordan. The girls gave a very emotional hug to Sallah, telling him goodbye since they know it will be the last time, they will be seeing him. They have their way to go back home, but the memories the girls spent with Indy and his adventures were very memorable. When the group reached England, there was a car waiting for them.
"Dr. Jones?" the driver asked.
"Yes," both answered.
"The witches have sent me to take you and the girls to Luna Nova," the driver said.
"Then lead the way," Indy said. Everyone got into the car, which was weirdly bigger on the inside than on the outside. They made their way through the familiar brushes and countryside near Luna Nova, that Indy experience the first time the girls came here. He looked at the girls, who were resting, and smiled knowing they will be getting home safely now. They finally reached the school, with Brody and Henry looking shocked at the mystical feeling surrounding the school and the magic being shown by the students. Everybody got out of the cars and were greeted by Cyrus, Luna, and Edith.
"Dr. Jones, Dr. Jones Sr., Mr. Brody, and girls, glad to see you guys alright," Luna greeted.
"We are, thanks for asking," Indy replied.
"Well, I heard that you guys found the stone. I also believe that you guys also were able to retrieve the holy grail," Edith said.
"Well, we did find the stone and the grail. But the grail was lost in the ruins of the temple," Indy corrected.
"Which it should be, no one who is evil should be able to hold its power and secrets," Edith said, "Now if you may give us the stone and staff and we can get this show on the road."
Indy nodded, giving the elder witch the staff and Akko giving her the stone. Edith held each one in both of her palms and said a couple of Latin words. She then put the two next to each other and like magnets, they both stuck onto each other. The staff's magic was amplified due to the stone being stuck in there. Edith then said a couple more Latin words and swing the staff in a circular motion, creating a portal.
"It is time girls," Edith said.
The girls gave Indy, Henry, and Brody very emotional hugs. Tears were in their eyes. They were crying, some sadness here since they will miss Indy and his friends and some happiness there since they will go home. Indy, Henry, and Brody hugged them back tightly, with Indy saying, "Don't cry girls, we will never forget you ever."
The girls wiped their eyes and smiled. That is true they will meet again, someday. They turned back to the portal and as they walked into it, they wave their hands bye to Indy. When they walked into the portal, the room turned a blinding white.
When the girls came to, they were rubbing their eyes and head as if a freight trained hit them. Akko was the first to speak, asking, "Do you guys think we made it back?"
As if on cue, the door opened revealing a young blue haired woman standing in the doorway. "Professor Ursula!" shouted Akko.
The girls got on to their feet and hugged their young professor. The professor hugged them back, in confusion. "Girls, where were you? You guys were missing for a few months and the staff thought you guys were dead," the professor asked, "And where are these scratches from?"
"Oh, you have no idea professor. And you wouldn't believe us even if we tell you," Amanda said.
It was a month since their return to their time. Akko was walking to the headmistress office, thinking that she might get in trouble. There she saw the rest of her friends waiting near the door. "Do any of you guys know why we were called here?"
Everyone shrugged, confused at the situation too. "Don't know Akko, but I heard we might be getting a new student here," Amanda answered.
"Ok, but wouldn't that be Diana's responsibility?" Akko asked.
"Yes it will be, but the headmistress said this is a special case," Diana said. At that moment, the door opened, with Professor Croix coming out.
"Good, everyone is here. The headmistress wants to see you guys now," she said.
The girls entered through the door. They were standing behind an older man and a young girl. The young girl had brownish hair, that was familiar, but they don't know from where.
"I am sorry sir, I know you donate a lot of artifacts here, but wouldn't it be beneficial for Mrs. Cavendish to show the girl around?" the headmistress asked.
"Nonsense," the man answered, "I feel like my granddaughter will benefit meeting these girls all together." The girls jumped at the man's voice, which was somehow familiar, with Amanda looking at Diana.
"Is that…?" she mouthed.
"No it can't be," Diana mouthed back.
"Look headmistress, I know these girls for a long time. I have my faith in them and I know they will treat my granddaughter right," the man said. "They protected and rescued me on multiple occasions, and I think it is my right to pay them back. Is that right girls?" The man turned around and the girls all gasped in shocked. The old man had a grizzly old face, with a recognizable scar on his bottom chin.
"Indy!" the girls shouted in delight.
The man was now smiling and nodding, with his granddaughter and the professors in confusion. "Um…grandpa these were the girls who helped you rescued my great grandfather?" the granddaughter asked.
"Yes, they are, junior," Indy smiled.
"Grandpa, I told you not to call me that. I prefer being called Artemis," the granddaughter whined.
The girls laughed, remembering the argument between Indy and his dad. It seems like habits will never die out. The professors were still shocked with only one waking up from it is Professor Ursula.
"How do you girls know Dr. Jones?" she asked.
"Remember how we went missing for a couple months?" Amanda asked.
"Yeah, which you still haven't answered about that," the professor asked.
"Well, we travelled back in time, and Dr. Jones here helped us come back home. We helped him with reaching the grail. We saw Adolf Hitler, with Indy having his father's diary signed by him on accident, we just have so many stories that we have with him," Amanda answered.
The professors were still in shocked, not knowing how to process this weird information. But the granddaughter stepped up front towards them and giving her hand out. "Anybody who helped my grandfather and great grandfather is good in my book. Names Marion Jones, Junior. But I liked to be called Artemis," said the granddaughter, "And do not worry about introducing yourselves. I know who all of you are. Diana, Akko, Amanda, Lotte, Sucy, Constanze, Hannah, and Barbara."
The girls were at first shocked, but then happy and shook Artemis's hand. "Nice to meet you and welcome to Luna Nova Academy," Akko said shaking Artemis's hand.
