Anakin struck his blade on Obi-Wan's
"You underestimate my power," Anakin growls.
"Don't try it."
Anakin jumps.
Anger flashes through her as she reaches a hand out, using the force to save the man that had once been her master.
This wasn't her master.
She tosses him to the ground, using the force to hold him there. He blinks, confused as to who pushed him down. It wasn't Obi-Wan, he was lying on the ground. Whoever had done this to him, had done it to the man he used to call master as well. Anakin struggled against the mysterious force wielder's grip, trying to break free and failing. Obi-Wan tried to sit, the force pushed him back down, and he stopped fighting it.
Anakin reaches a hand out, reaching for the silver blade of his lightsaber.
Seconds later the lightsaber was out of his grasp, and in the orange hand of a female Trougtia.
"I thought, you cared" she speaks delicately her voice shaking, just a little, as she walks forward into the light so he can see her face.
"Ahsoka?" he speaks, confused, his eyes bright yellow.
"I thought, you had a family," she says, the high heeled boots she wore sinking into the dark ash.
"A wife? Your expecting two children," she says as if it's the most normal thing in the world. She looks to Anakin on the ground, and releases her force grip on him, keeping his lightsaber in her hand.
"Ahsoka, it's not safe here," Anakin warns. Ahsoka glares.
"You think I don't know that?" she asks. Anakin looks up at her.
"Ahsoka you shouldn't be here."
"And why shouldn't i be?" she quips. He hears his lightsaber click to her belt.
"Is he alive?" a creepy voice from behind her cackles. She spins on her heel.
"Palpatine," she murmurs. "Good to know, I can't trust anyone these days." Anakin winces.
"You aren't to be here, Padawan Tano," the dark voice states as Ahsoka meets his gaze.
Ahsoka was the one thing between him and Anakin.
He couldn't let her win.
"Yeah, I'm not moving," Ahsoka states.
Palpatine glares.
"I've wanted to do this, for a long, long, time," the old man raises his hands, and bright white light shoots from them.
"NO!" Anakin screams. Ahsoka reaches up a hand. The light disapears.
All of it. Gone.
Obi-Wan gasps.
Palpatine tries again the same effect happening.
"Impossible," Obi-Wan whispers.
Palpatine grabs his lightsaber from his belt.
Ahsoka's bright white ones come to parry his blow.
The two walk in circles, in a kind of dance, whoever slips up first is dead.
Ahsoka ducks as he hits.
He ducks as she swings.
It felt like hours they went on.
Her lungs hurt from the smoke,
Her fingers ached from the lightsabers in her grasp.
She looks over at Anakin.
"You said you'd never hurt me."
She parries Sheev's blow.
"This, what you're doing, is hurting me!" Ahsoka flips over the old mans head kicking him in the back, and forcing him backward. Sheev cries out in pain, seconds later Ahsoka has her saber to her throat.
"I guess I thought wrong."
And Sheev was dead.
Ahsoka didn't regret it.
She turns, and walks off. She grabs both of their light sabers clipping them to her belt.
"You were a father to me, Anakin. I loved you"
And she turns. And walks off.
