Chapter 2

Katie was laying in Optimus' true holoform's arms, while asleep as he tightened his hold on her. She was the best thing that had ever happened to him, and he thanked Primus for sending her to him. He kept worrying though because he was not human, and he kept thinking he was not good enough for her. However, she pushed those thoughts down when she took care of him and chased his past away with her gentle love.

He glanced over at his sire and Cora and could see they were still in recharge, but then his brother was parked over by his sire, which did not surprise him after all Ratchet and Megatron were mates.

His sire was a bit smitten with Katie's sister, Primus knows that femme was feisty and both his sire and brother would be in a world of trouble if they extended the bond. But part of him wanted that to happen they both needed extra love in their lives, and quite frankly he was already happy with Katie though he had started calling her Kat now.

He figured they really didn't have too much to worry about with Attinger, Savoy, and Joyce dead, so he relaxed a bit as a result.

Optimus held his mate tightly, he was so happy and felt so blessed at the same time. He really did. He glanced over at Katie and leaned in and kissed her firmly on her lips which made her moan slightly in her slightly.

"Hey," she whispered.

"Hey yourself," Optimus whispered

Katie smiled, but she smiled sadly. She glanced up into Optimus' gorgeous bright blue optics, she had seen a vision and she was slightly upset by it. But she couldn't tell Optimus not now, she thought about telling her sister because even though it would be sad it still did have a happy ending in the end.

"Are you alright?" Optimus asked.

"I'm good I just need to speak with Cora," she said.

"You're a terrible liar, but alright," Optimus remarked.

"Guess I take after you," she replied as her lips crashed down on his.

Silence...

"Will that hold you, until I get back?" she questioned.

"Perhaps," he said and then added quickly. "If you hurry it will," he replied with a smile.

"Alright then," she said.

Katie got out of Optimus' vehicle form and headed toward Ratchet's vehicle form.

"Hey Ratch, can I steal my sister?" Katie asked.

"If you must," Ratchet said and Ironhide transformed and headed toward Ratchet.

He nodded toward the girls as he pounded on Ratchet's hood and said with a chuckle.

"Transform, Hatchet," Ironhide cackled as Ratchet transformed angrily.

"Do not call me that?" Ratchet mumbled.

"Got an SOS from Lennox and Epps," Ironhide said.

"Can they be trusted?" Ratchet asked.

"I think they were being conned by Cemetery Wind so I am thinking yeah we can trust them," Ironhide said. "Lennox is still my charge what choice do I have?" Ironhide asked.

"Alright," Ratchet said.

Megatron, Starscream, Barricade who had Frenzy with him along with Soundwave had headed on a mission off-world to find more survivors. However, as they left for space they passed through a ripple unknown to them, while still on Earth the unspeakable was about to happen.

Cora stared at her sister then, she wasn't sure what to say to her sister's comments.

"Wait, what are you saying?" Cora asked once more.

Katie sighed then.

"My protector powers are gone, and I am going to be murdered in front of Optimus and you. You don't die but your soul is going into another body, but we're still sisters you go by Tiff and I go by Kat," Katie said as Cora glanced at her.

"What else aren't you telling me?" Cora asked.

"Ratchet and Ironhide are going to be killed, they left a bit ago they won't be back. They will send a distress signal and that's where Optimus will be taken and I will be killed in front of him," She explained.

"Then why were you made his protector if he is going to die anyway?" Cora demanded.

"He will be transported back to Cybertron, but to the time before the planet explodes. He will escape and come back to Earth but a new and very different Earth, where our souls will be in new bodies awaiting the time to fall in love once more," Katie replied as tears streamed down her face.

"No, I can heal you and them," Cora insisted.

Katie went to her sister then.

"I love you so much, but this was sent from Primus because the future is much better then it is now. You have to trust me, Cora," Katie said.

Cora sighed, while tears rolled down her face.

"Alright," Cora whispered as she hugged her sister.

"I love you," Katie whispered.

"I love you more," Cora answered hugging her like there was no tomorrow which for in her big sister's case wouldn't be.
