Chapter 12: Dino Helpers

At the military compound outside, the others were still fighting off Sal and his gang. So far, almost all of the policemen were knocked out, but some still kept on going.

"There are just too many of them!" Dylan shouted as he kicked a member of Sal's gang.

Lennox punched gangsters aside before shouting. "Just keep moving, guys! Don't let them surround you! Failure is not an option!"

"Technically, failure is always an option!" Zach replied back as Maggie back kicked a gangster aside.

"You know what else is an option?!" Maggie snapped in annoyance. "Slapping you!"

Betty and Ashleigh dodged some bullets before they ducked for cover.

"Man, how in the world are we supposed to take on gangsters and a dinosaur army WHEN WE'RE GETTING OUR BUTTS KICKED?!" Ashleigh exclaimed in frustration.

Suddenly a gangster grabbed her by the hair, making her yelp in pain as she was held high in the air.

"ASHLEIGH!" Betty shouted before she punched the gangster aside to the ground. She then helped her up. "You okay?"

"Yeah. Thanks, roomie!" Ashleigh thanked her.

Then the gangsters backed the entire group at the base of a cliff that will lead them to their death.

Sal smirked in victory as his gangsters were right behind him.

"There are just too many of them!" Dylan exclaimed in fear.

"And the bad news keeps on coming." Sal agreed with him as he turned to his men. "Boys, take care of this trash."

"You got it, boss." Victor said as he and four agents aimed their weapons at the group and they raised their hands in the air.

Just as they were about to finish them… screaming was heard from behind as some of the gangsters were seen flying in the air by something as a roar was heard in the background.

Sal turned around in confusion.

Then one of the gangsters' cars was flung in the air as Jay and Logan came into view and was the one who tossed some of the gangsters in the air and the car as it made a honking sound.

The car landed on the ground and exploded as the Allosaurus roared at the gangsters.

"Hey guys! Missed us?!" Logan called to his friends as his family came into view with their dinosaur pets.

"Logan?!" Betty, Dylan, Ashleigh, and Maggie exclaimed in surprise at seeing him and his family each riding a dinosaur of their own. Lennox, Rebecca, and their policemen were stunned to see this.

"What? You guys have never seen people riding dinosaurs before?!" Ambrea called back with a smirk.

Sal glared at them, more specifically at Logan. "So I'm guessing that you're Logan Johnson."

"Salvatore Maggio, we know you're planning to go to war with Mesogog and his prehistoric army. Do yourself a favor, take your men out of here and never come back!" Logan angrily said as he glared at the mob leader.

This made Sal scoff before he said. "That ain't gonna happen. We'll never leave London, until you idiots and Mesogog are out of the show. Get rid of them!"

"Take 'em down, guys!" Logan shouted as Jay along with the other dinosaurs charged at the gangsters as they tried to take aim, but the Allosaurus swiped a few aside.

Logan and his family jumped down as their tamed dinosaurs each took on the gangsters one on one.

The male Spinosaurus whacks two of the gangsters to the ground as the male T. rex rammed some into the water as they screamed and the female Velociraptor jumps on a gangster before clawing him a bit as well as tail swiping the other to the ground. The female Carnotaurus charged at three gangsters as they fired some bullets at her, but she dodged them a bit before she rammed the first two aside and whacked the third one away with her tail.

Logan kicked a few aside as he and Riley faced a few before his older brother punched a few aside.

Terran and Ambrea worked together by kicking, and punching a few aside.

As Logan fought off two aside, Sal came at him from behind and punched him to the ground.

Logan groaned in pain as Sal stood over him with a glare. He takes out a pistol, clicks it, and points it at Logan.

"What a waist." Sal said as he glared at Logan.

But before he could fire the trigger, a spiky tail whacked him aside as he groaned in pain before landing on the ground.

Stunned, Logan turned to see a male Stegosaurus, one of the escaped dinosaurs, had arrived at the scene.

Everyone was stunned to see the new arrival as the female Pteranodon flew from the cliff and grabbed a few gangsters, flew in the air and dropped them on one of their cars. Then the male Triceratops came and rammed two aside.

"Well, looks like we've got the cavalry on our backs!" Dylan said as he punched a gangster aside.

Sal and his gang backed away as Jay stalked towards them with the four carnivores behind him as well as the two herbivores and the Pteranodon hovering in mid air. They roared at them.

The gangster leader glared at them before turning back to Logan and his team. "You haven't heard the last of me. I'll be back!"

He and his gang retreated back to their hideout as Jay and his new friends roared in victory.

Logan and his family smiled at their job well done. Lennox and Rebecca came to them with impressed looks on their faces.

"You gotta be kidding me, Logan." Rebecca said, quite impressed on how and his family tamed those ancient beasts.

"I wish I was." Logan responded back after Jay came over to him as he brought his head to their level before Logan patted him on the snout.

Soon the other dinosaurs came to his family and friends with friendly looks as the other police officers held their fire. They sensed the dinosaurs didn't have any intent on killing them.

The male Triceratops came over to Dylan as he admired the horned herbivore and gently placed his hand on the beak. Ashleigh saw the Pteranodon land before her as the female winged reptile let out a soft chirp. Ashleigh came to the dinosaur's side and gave her a gentle stroke on the beak. Betty saw the Stegosaurus approaching her as he softly bellowed out, making her giggle before gently giving him a pat on the head. Finally, Maggie was greeted by the female Velociraptor as she gently cooed at her before she gave her a light nuzzle as she chuckled and gave her a gentle stroke on her snout.

Lennox then asked Logan. "What happened to you guys? We didn't hear from you for like two hours."

"Long story." Logan began to explain as he handed Mesogog's blueprints to Rebecca as she took them and began going through them. "But to keep it short. Mesogog was actually the one who created the Indominus Rex. Helen only did most of it and brought the dinosaurs here."

"But that's impossible." Rebecca said in shock.

"Nothing's impossible. Helen may have sent that hybrid to attack the Museum in New York, but Mesogog was the one responsible for creating it." Ambrea said as she came over to join Logan along with Riley and Terran.

"What else did you get?" Zach asked, coming over to them.

"We figured out what his next plan is. He's planning to bring the whole dinosaur region back and turn everyone else into dinosaur human hybrids." Riley answered.

"Well this day can't get any worse." Dylan said in frustration.

"We've gotta figure out a way to stop him before time runs out…" Logan said to the others.

(Scene changes)

Watching from a computer was Mesogog, who supervised the whole thing.

"If Mesogog does this, it'll cause primeval chaos all over the world." Logan's voice came from the screen before the screen turned off.

Mesogog narrowed his eyes as he was not happy of Logan being able to tame those escaped prehistoric animals. Then he smirked evilly.

"Well, it seems we'll have to go to cut the plan short. It's time for the world to meet the 'crown jewel' of the world." He said as he made his way to the Indominus rex paddock.

The albino dinosaur hybrid was eating on dead cows as she made death growls.

Helen approached her master. "Master, the mutagen darts are ready. All of the dinosaur DNA from each of those reptiles is combined with them."

"Ah, excellent." Mesogog said in delight before turning to her. "Let us test these vials on some human being flesh. I know the perfect ones."

Then he laughed evilly as it echoed through the city.
