Chapter 15: The Clash of Titans
At Mesogog's lab, all of the people were in cages as they were banging on the doors while screaming in a demand to get out.
But just then a Giganotosaurus stomps it's right foot on the ground and roared loudly at them telling them to be quiet as they screamed in fright and stopped.
Helen was on a balcony admiring everything as everything was going to plan for her master.
Soon Mesogog came in and said to her. "You have done well, Helen."
"Thank you, master." Helen responded back to him.
"Now these people will be hybrids just like me and the whole world will belong to me once I bring its prehistoric roots back." The maniac dinosaur said deviously.
Helen turns to her boss. "What about all of the dinosaurs?"
"They will destroy everything and there will be nothing left but a wasteland." Her master reassured her.
He turns to the cages before he unleashes a roar, telling the Giganotosaurus to back away from the cages to which the huge dinosaur complied and stepped aside.
"Release the mutagen on them." Mesogog ordered the scientists as they began pressing buttons.
As the people shivered in fear, small holes began to appear above their cages on the ceilings. Then they released the mutagen that sprayed green gas and rained down on the captive people.
They scream in horror and pain as they begin to change while their voices change from screaming to roar. This meant that they were about to become like Mesogog.
Suddenly one of the agents ran to them as he said. "Mesogog, you better check this out."
Mesogog turned to him.
(Scene changes)
In the computer room, the agents saw something on the monitor as Mesogog and Helen entered the room.
"Hmm." Mesogog frowned. "Zoom in."
The monitor zoomed in as it showed Logan and his team riding on their respective dinosaurs as the police followed from behind as they were heading for TGRI.
"Master, it's Logan and his team. Seems like they're having the dinosaurs helping them." Helen said as she glared at the monitor.
"Like obedient dogs." Mesogog sneered. "But that won't save them for long."
"What do we do now?" One of the agents asked.
Mesogog turned to them and said, "Round up everyone of the agents, protect the perimeter. Bring out the Indominus rex."
The agents compiled before typing on the keyboard as the gates opened from the Inominus' paddock.
(Scene changes)
Logan and his team continued to ride on their dinosaurs as they along with the police entered the area.
Then something big smashed through the wall. The group and dinosaurs dodged the debris and look up to see the Indominus rex starring down at them with murder in her eyes.
"Guns up!" Lennox shouted as he aimed at the Indominus rex with a rifle along with Rebecca and the rest of the policemen.
"Oh boy." Maggie squeaked as Blue snarled at the hybrid.
"Looks like they were expecting us." Ashleigh said.
The Indominus roared loudly and the group stood their ground.
"Alright, guys! Let's get primeval with this deranged dino!" Logan shouted as Jay roared out.
The dinosaurs charged at the Indominus rex. Zog rammed into her, but the Indominus whacked him away with her tail. Blue charged straight at her and attempted to claw the hybrid, but she swatted her to the ground. Skyler flew around the Indominus, trying to distract her for Rex and Spiney to attack her as the hybrid tried to catch the Pteranodon. But the Indominus quickly grabs the T. rex by the tail with her jaws and whacks the Spinosaurus away with her tail and body slammed Rex hard.
"Eat it, freak show!" Betty shouted as Spike swung his tail at the Indominus' leg. The dinosaur roared in pain.
But then she recovered and grabbed the Stegosaurus and tossed him aside as Betty screamed in horror.
Then a missile shot near her as it hit the ground as the police fired some bullets and rockets at her. But her skin was enough for her to not take any hits from the bullets and missiles.
"Concentrate your fire!" Lennox shouted as he fired at the hybrid with his policemen.
The Indominus roars at them before Jay and Carly ram into her, leaving her dazed. Then suddenly some rocks hit her, courtesy of Skyler.
"Can't catch us, Indom!" Ashleigh mocked before she gasped when the Indominus jumped up and tried to bite on them, but Skyler flew out of the way as the dinosaur hybrid landed on the ground and roared in frustration.
Zog charged at the I. rex again, but she caught him in the mouth and tossed him into the air, and opened her gaping jaws in an attempt to bite him whole. But Rex, Spiney, Jay, and Carly rammed into the Indominus away at the last minute.
"Ha, ha! Yes!" Ambrea cheered.
"We got her!" Terran called.
The Indominus rex got up ready to fight again. Logan glared at the dinosaur mutant before he pointed his Katana sword at her and shouted. "Get her!"
The dinosaurs charged at the hybrid. Logan jumped off of Jay toward the Indominus, the hybrid opened her mouth to chomp on Logan, but Skyler grabbed him and dropped on Jay as Blue jumped on the Indominus' head, clawing her. The whole thing was a distraction so the Indominus was left open to Rex and Spiney, who rammed into her as the Tyrannosaurus chomped on her left arm while the Spinosaurus clamped his jaws on her neck as she roared in pain. Spike swung his tail and jammed his spikes into the hybrid's thigh, causing her to roar in even more pain. The Indominus reached her head forward in an attempt to bite Spike, but Zog rammed into her forcing her to reel her head back as the dinosaurs held her in place. But then the Indominus shook Blue off her head, slashed Rex on the right side of his face forcing him to release her as he backed away, bit Spiney on the lower part of his neck, forcing him to let go of her before smacking him away with her tail and into Rex as they fell on the ground, and clamped her jaws on Spike's tail before throwing him to the ground.
Logan looked in shock at what happened to his family and their dinosaurs before glaring at the Indominus as she growled at her foe. Jay snarled at her as he and Logan stood their ground.
"Man, that hybrid is really strong. But she's not gonna win this time." Logan said as he glared at the mutant. "Jay, it's up to us!"
Jay roared at the Indominus as they charged forward. The Indominus opened her jaws in an attempt to bite Jay, but the Allosaurus avoided her as Logan jumped on the hybrid's back, took out one of his Katana swords and slashed it through her back while running on her as the dinosaur roared in pain. Logan jumped back on Jay as the Allosaurus charged at her again and rammed her to the ground. The Indominus rolled on the ground before she fell straight into the water.
Logan and Jay looked at the water before turning to the others as the Allosaurus ran to them. When they got to the team, Logan jumped off Jay and went to his family and friends.
"Are you guys okay?" Logan asked worriedly as they got up along with their dinosaurs.
"Yeah, we're fine." Riley assured his brother before noticing the Indominus gone. "Where's the Indominus?"
"She fell into the lake." Logan answered.
Then all of a sudden, a missile shot one of the police cars, causing it to explode as the police shielded themselves.
Logan and his team turned to see two of Mesogog's agents armed with rocket launchers. Then they all came out with guns in their hands.
"Oh no." Betty said in fear.
"Well this day can't possibly get any worse." Dylan sighed.
Suddenly, a large splash was heard and they turned to see the Indominus rex rising out of the water before stalking to them.
"And it just did." Dylan groaned.
Logan spots the Time Anomaly as the three large portals were still intact.
Determined to stop this, he turns to his team. "Guys, I'm gonna need you to stay here and hold them off for as long as you can."
"What are you gonna do?" Riley asked his brother.
"I'm gonna stop Mesogog and shut down the Time Anomaly." Logan answered. "Keep them busy."
The others hesitated for a bit before they gave him a nod as they climbed on their respective dinosaurs and went into battle with the Indominus rex and the agents with the police helping them.
Logan ran for cover as he avoided the incoming missiles that exploded the ground and ran to the broken window he and his family went through. He then went inside the TGRI building to end the threat once and for all.
