The next day at school Buffy did her best to avoid Angelus at all costs. She managed to not catch a glimpse of him until the school day was over and she walked into the library where he was already waiting for her. Giving her a dazzling smile as she walked through the door he pulled out the chair next to him and gestured for her to sit.
Gulping, Buffy made her way over to the table and sat down next to him. Why did this have to be so hard? And why did he have to be so frickin' gorgeous? She got her books and notepad out of her backpack and quickly grabbed one of the books he'd already procured from the shelves. Focusing her mind on the task at hand rather than the gorgeous man sitting next to her.
It wasn't easy as he kept getting close to her whilst reading the book over her shoulder. In the end, she sighed and looked up at him, something she'd managed to avoid doing for the past half hour. Their eyes locked instantly and her breath caught in her throat. His eyes! She could get lost in those eyes.
Angelus managed to catch himself before he leaned down to kiss her. After yesterday he knew he was going to have to move slower, he didn't want her to freak out again. Collecting himself, he looked at her and said, "Darla's having a party Saturday night if you'd like to come?"
Buffy looked at him incredulously. "You're asking me on a date to your girlfriend's party?"
Angelus shrugged his shoulders. "I'm not asking you on a date, just inviting you to a party. Bring your friends. Although not Harris or Rosenberg, they're most definitely not invited. Darla would have kittens if they showed up at one of her parties." He let out a little chuckle.
Buffy rolled her eyes. How she hated the popular kids. The school and the town may change but the cliques always stayed the same. "I don't think so." She replied, "Let's just get on with this project."
Angelus looked at her for a moment before shrugging and saying, "OK, suit yourself. But the invitation stands." He then concentrated on the project. He knew if he brought it up again he'd push her further away. He was going to have to tread cautiously with this girl if he was going to get her into his bed.
The next day Angelus had football practice after school so she was able to avoid him altogether. She'd told Willow and Xander about his party invitation. Willow thought she'd done the right thing telling him, no, and Xander had ranted for a full fifteen minutes about the jocks and the cheerleaders.
Now on her way to meet them both at the Bronze she couldn't stop thinking about the 'what ifs' if she did go to that party. No, Willow and Xander were right, she shouldn't go. She was so caught up in her thoughts she didn't see the dark-haired girl walking towards her until she was almost on top of her.
"Yo, B!" The dark-haired girl said whilst waving her hand in front of Buffy's face. "You were in a world of your own there."
Buffy looked up. "Faith!" She cried, grabbing her friend and pulling her into a hug. "What are you doing here?"
Faith shrugged, disentangling herself from Buffy. "Thought I'd skip town for a bit, come and see what you were up to in this sleepy little town. I would have come to the house but I didn't want your Mom freaking out on ya."
"That's probably a good idea. We've been getting on really well lately, seeing you would send her into a spin." Buffy shoved her hands in her jeans pocket. "So where are you staying?"
Faith mimicked Buffy's action. "Some shithole motel on the outskirts of town. Managed to skim some dough from my stepdad whilst he was passed out drunk on the couch. There was more there than I thought. So I figured I'd come see ya, maybe raise a little hell whilst I'm here." She laughed and winked at Buffy.
Buffy laughed uneasily. It wasn't that she wasn't pleased to see Faith, she was. She knew if Faith had skipped town again things must be really bad at home. It was just, things were going really well in her life now. She didn't want to mess that up. She gave herself a mental shake. She'd changed, now. She wasn't the same person she was a few months ago. She was strong enough to not let herself be influenced by Faith and still be happy to see her friend. Maybe introducing her to Willow and Xander might rub off on Faith and she could make a change too?
"I'm on my way to the Bronze to meet some friends if you want to come?"
"Sure. Have a few drinks, get a little high, some dancin', might find a hot guy to hook up with."
"Um, no Faith. The Bronze isn't like the clubs we used to go to back home. They sell alcohol, yeah, but you need ID…"
"I got us both fake ID's, B."
"I'm not drinking tonight, Faith. The friends I'm meeting aren't the type to want to drink or get high either. And I promised Mom I'd be home by eleven because it's a school night."
Faith just stared at Buffy like she'd grown another head. "You're kidding, right?"
"No, I'm not, Faith. Look, I've managed to turn my life around here. I haven't had a drink or taken anything since I moved here. I'm getting on with my Mom, I'm actually going to school and I'm getting good grades. I'm happy and I don't want to mess it up."
Buffy looked at Faith with pleading eyes. She wanted to include her friend, but she really didn't want to go back to her old life.
After seeing the look in Buffy's eyes Faith relented. "Fine! I guess one night without any juice won't do me any harm. But you're getting on that dance floor with me!"
Buffy laughed, "Definitely."
Buffy had introduced Faith to Willow and Xander, and although Willow seemed a little apprehensive at Faith's forwardness, Xander took to her immediately. Which didn't surprise Buffy in the slightest. Xander seemed to be in awe of Faith.
After Faith was yet again flirting outrageously with Xander, Buffy dragged her onto the dance floor. "What gives, B?" Faith asked angrily, pulling her arm out of Buffy's grasp. "I'm doing what you asked. I'm not drinking, I'm not high and I'm making nice with your sweet little friends." Faith sounded almost bitter, which in reality she was. She was jealous that Buffy had a mom who cared enough to move her and give her a fresh start.
"Xander isn't like other boys you'd normally hook up with Faith. He's sweet, inexperienced and I'm pretty sure he's still a virgin."
"What are you trying to say, B? That I'll corrupt him?" Faith asked angrily.
Buffy sighed. "No, that's not what I mean. Look, if you're actually interested in him then go slowly with him. Date him. If you're just looking for a good time then find someone else. He's not the type of guy who could take being rejected the next morning."
Faith was stuck between being offended and seeing the truth in what Buffy was saying. In the end, she relented. "OK, I'll find someone else to take home tonight, and leave sweet little Xander alone."
"Thank you! Now, are we gonna dance, or what?" Buffy asked before she grabbed Faith's hand and began gyrating herself into Faith's body.
Faith laughed and began her own sexy dancing. It wasn't long before there was a huge swath of boys circling around them both. Each one trying to cop a feel of both the gorgeous girls on the dance floor.
Willow and Xander sat at their table wide-eyed. It seemed everyone in the club had their eyes on the two sexy girls on the dance floor.
Spike whispered something in Dru's ear before Dru grabbed Darla's hand and dragged her off to the bathroom. He chuckled as he could hear Darla's complaints of not needing the bathroom. He leaned over to Angelus, "I thought you might want Darla out of the way for a bit so you can go get your girl over there." Spike knew how much Angelus was lusting after the new girl, and although he himself was a one-woman man. He loved hearing all about Angelus' conquests.
Angelus turned around in his seat to look where Spike was pointing to. His mouth dropped open in shock as saw Buffy and Faith on the dance floor. Performing what could only be described as a mating ritual. He felt his cock stirring. Jesus, if she could dance like that, what would she be like in bed?
"Looks like you got a bit of competition mate," Spike said from behind him, referring to all the men and boys trying to get a piece of the Buffy and Faith action.
Angelus growled. He almost knocked his chair over as he got up and stalked onto the dance floor. Spike just grinned and waited for the entertainment to begin.
Angelus angrily pushed male after male out of his way in order to get to Buffy. When he came up and grabbed her around the waist from behind, Faith looked up before a huge grin spread across her face. He pulled Buffy back against his chest and pressed his groin into her ass. Buffy gasped at first and was about to turn around and punch whoever had the audacity to grab her like that. When Angelus leaned down and whispered in her ear. "I like the way you dance, it's very sexy."
He smiled when she shivered at his voice in her ear. Feeling like her whole body was humming she decided to just go with the way her body was feeling. Dancing with him wouldn't do any harm, would it?
Buffy began to gyrate her hips, pushing her ass back into his groin. She smiled when he let out a grunt and gripped her hips tighter pulling her back into him harder. She could feel him getting hard, and she let out a moan as he began kissing the side of her neck.
Faith just stood there watching them both with an amused smile on her face. "Not that I'm not enjoying this little display, but I think blondie over there is about to blow a gasket." Faith snickered, as she nodded to the side of the dance floor where Darla stood, her face was red with anger and she had her hands on her hips.
Buffy immediately came to her senses when she saw Darla. That's all she needed, the Queen Bee of the school having it in for her. Not that Buffy could blame her. If she was in Darla's position she'd have decked the girl who was rubbing her body up against Angelus.
As Buffy pulled away from Angelus much to his disappointment, Faith said, "So who's the stud muffin, B?"
Hearing Angelus' chuckle from behind her, Buffy rolled her eyes and replied, "Faith this Angelus."
"Fitting name." Faith said as she blatantly ogled Angelus.
Smirking Angelus looked Faith over. She was hot. Very hot in fact. If he wasn't already set on bedding Buffy he knew he could have Faith tonight if he wanted. He also knew that would ruin any chance he'd have with Buffy though. Although he wasn't averse to taking them both home. He clamped down on those thoughts immediately. They were something he'd explore in private, later tonight.
Pulling himself back to the present, he looked between Buffy and Faith. "Will you be coming to the party with Buffy on Saturday night?" He gave Buffy an amused look before turning his attention back to Faith.
"Party? B never mentioned a party." Faith turned to look at Buffy. "You holding out on me, B?"
"What? No! I told you I wasn't going to your GIRLFRIEND's party, Angelus!" Buffy said, trying her best not to shout. Who did he think he was, coming over here with a body like that. Rubbing himself up against her, and then pestering her about Darla's stupid party. Buffy was angry now.
Angelus held his hands up in surrender. "Hey, I was only asking. Like I said it's not a date, but it would be great to see you BOTH there." he smiled smugly at Faith, before giving Buffy a wink and walking over to Darla.
Darla's shouts could be heard from across the club over the music, she wasn't happy, Buffy didn't blame her, she didn't like Darla but it must be awful for her to watch her boyfriend get it on with almost every female at the school.
When Buffy turned back to Faith the look on Faith's face said it all. "No, it's not like that. I haven't slept with him and I have no plans to!"
"I didn't say anything!" Faith laughed.
"You didn't have to."
Buffy had had enough dancing and she made her way back over to the table where Xander and Willow were still sitting.
They both looked at her like they didn't know her as she sat down. She held her hand up before they could both speak. "I know, I know, OK. I was bad Buffy, I got caught up in the moment. It won't happen again."
Xander looked like he was going to say something but the look in Faith's eyes made him stop. He did not want to get on her bad side.
"Look I get you don't want to get involved with the hottie because of his annoying girlfriend. Although that wouldn't have stopped you six months ago. Wouldn't stop me now either, if he was interested."
Buffy gave her a look that said don't even think about it.
"But, why should that stop us from going to this party, B?"
"You know why, Faith!" Buffy gave her a look. She didn't want Faith going into detail about the things they used to get up to back in LA in front of Willow and Xander.
"Fine!" Faith huffed, "I'm not going to push you to go, but just know I'm not happy about it!"
Buffy chuckled at Faith's annoyance, "Thanks Faith".
"Oh, you could all stay at my house on Saturday night." Willow burst excitedly. "We could rent some movies and order pizza."
"Well, I'm in," Xander said.
Buffy smiled, "That sounds great Will." The thought of a normal sleepover with movies and pizza sounded like heaven to Buffy.
"Wait, your mom lets guys sleep over?" Faith asked, raising an eyebrow.
"No!" Willow snapped, offended.
Faith just pointed at Xander. "Oh," Willow blushed, "That's just Xander he's not a guy, guy. He's been sleeping over since we were in kindergarten."
"Thanks, Will. Way to make a guy feel manly." Xander grumbled.
Faith laughed at Xander's response. As much as she wanted to hate these two, they were so genuinely nice she just couldn't. "OK, I'm in too."
Saturday came around and Buffy was sick and tired of hearing about the party from Faith. "For the last time Faith, no! Let's just have a nice time with Willow and Xander tonight." Buffy nearly shouted at Faith as they walked to Willow's house.
"I'm not letting up B, you like this Angelus guy, anyone with eyes can see it. I don't see what your problem is. Just go to the party with me and hook up with him!"
Buffy stopped and whirled around to face Faith, causing Faith to almost knock into her. "My problem is he has a girlfriend! Not to mention a reputation!"
"You had a reputation, B! You and this Angelus guy are so similar it's freaky."
"Had being the appropriate word. I've changed, I don't want to be to that girl that doesn't care if the guy she sleeps with is attached or not."
"OK, so don't hook up with him then. Let's just go to the party and have some fun. Maybe get a little tipsy?" Faith could see that Buffy was wavering.
"I'm not getting high!"
"Right, only brown fizzy coke for you then." Faith said unable to stop the huge smile that crossed her face.
"Will and Xand aren't going to be very happy with me."
"So? I'll bet they'll understand eventually. C'mon, let's go back to my motel room and get ready. You can call Willow from there."
Back at Faith's motel room, Buffy had just gotten off the phone with Willow, she didn't look happy.
"Willow didn't take it so well then?" Faith asked as she applied another layer of black eyeliner.
"Actually she was fairly supportive. When I told her I wasn't going to hook up with Angelus and just wanted to go to the party she understood."
"Then why the face?"
"Xander was another story, I could hear him shouting in the background, it wasn't pretty. I don't think he's speaking to me." Buffy said sadly.
"He'll get over it. I think that's more about him being jealous of Angelus than you blowing him and Willow off."
Buffy looked at Faith in the mirror as she applied her dark red lipstick. "You're probably right. On the plus side, Will promised to cover for me with Mom."
They both stood back and looked at themselves in the mirror. "We look hot as hell, B," Faith said. Buffy had to agree. Faith wore tight red leather pants with a black silk halter top and chunky black leather boots. Buffy had on a short black leather mini-skirt with a red corset style top that was pulled so tight her breasts threatened to spill out at any moment. She'd teamed them with black silk over the knee socks and black high heeled ankle boots. The contrast of her blonde hair to Faith's brown hair was striking. Alone they looked hot, together they like sin incarnate.
"Ready to rock this party?" Faith asked.
"Let's go get wasted!" Buffy replied. Now she was back in one of her old outfits she was feeling free and like her old self who just wanted to party.
The crowd parted for them when they entered Darla's party. A drink was shoved into both their hands and they simultaneously downed their drinks in one. Making their way to the dance floor they began their routine of rubbing themselves against each other. Boys surrounded them just like they had at the Bronze.
Drink after drink was passed to each of them which they drank eagerly. It wasn't long before they were offered a few tablets. Pleasantly drunk at this point it didn't even occur to Buffy to decline. Falling back into her old habits with ease. They took two tablets each before snorting the white powder that was offered to them next.
Angelus watched the whole scene progress with interest from across the room. He'd seen the pair the second they'd entered the party. After he'd picked his jaw up off the floor he'd decided it was best to bide his time, knowing if he went in for the kill too early he'd be rejected. He'd been playing nice with Darla for most of the night, much to her delight. So when he told her he was going down to the basement to smoke a little with the boys she didn't give him a hard time at all.
Spike had instructed Dru to keep Darla occupied for the next hour or two so Angelus was free to pursue Buffy. "Looks like your new obsession has a bit of a wild streak," Spike said to Angelus as he struggled to be heard over the music. Angelus just looked at Spike before smiling and entering the throng of gyrating people that had congregated on the makeshift dance floor in the living room.
He approached the two girls slowly, a smirk on his face. Buffy and Faith looked up simultaneously as Angelus reached them. "Angelus," Buffy said huskily, a dreamy smile spreading across her face.
"Ladies." He replied. Before being pulled against Buffy as she kissed him, hard. Pulling back surprised, he looked at her questioningly. "What?" She said. "You know I think you're sexy." He just smiled at her before pulling her into another kiss. This was going to be so much easier than he thought.
They were pulled from their liplock by Faith tapping them both on their shoulders. "Hey, what about me?" she asked.
"Um," Angelus was torn. There was nothing he wanted more than to kiss Faith as well as Buffy, but he wanted Buffy more. "I don't think…"
He was interrupted by Buffy pulling Faith into a passionate kiss. Angelus just stood their gobsmacked as their tongues duelled and their hands roamed each others' bodies. His pants were quickly becoming far too tight. There were whoops and catcalls from the other males in the room. When they pulled apart both Buffy and Faith were grinning at their audience.
Angelus just stood there not knowing what to do. He really didn't want to make the wrong move and blow it with Buffy. The choice was taken away from him when Faith pulled his mouth to hers and shoved her tongue in. He reciprocated instantly. He almost jumped when he felt Buffy press herself up against his back.
Holy shit! This night was going in a direction he never expected. He pulled away from Faith before turning around and kissing Buffy again. After a few seconds Buffy pulled away and whispered, "Maybe we should take this upstairs where there's less of an audience?"
Angelus raised an eyebrow before looking at both her and Faith. He took them both by the hands and lead them upstairs.
Spike watched the three of them ascend the stairs together. "Christ, that bloke is my fucking hero!" He said as he lit a cigarette.
