Chapter 1
Kami-sama
Naruto's POV
A pair of azure orbs snaps open and stared at the white ceiling briefly.
His minds are full of thoughts and memories. He took a deep breath before deciding to sat up on the bed. He look around but found nothing aside from the white bed and the fact that everything was nothing but white as far as the eye could see.
He sighed inwardly but flinched afterwards when he suddenly felt familiar presences approaching him from behind.
"Wah! He already woke up!" one of his approacher said.
Naruto widen his eyes and slowly turn his head. He then meet the hot gaze of one of them, a familiar gaze but not quietly. He gasped eyes widening more and yell a silent shriek.
He saw nine small figures of none other than the nine biju's.
The biju's laughed at his reaction, well not really all of them. Naruto pouted at their reactions, puffing his cheeks and looked away at them.
The laughs grow more until one of them spoke up, breaking the noise.
"Boys, stop that… You're scaring Naruto of your behaviors…"
A man with white long silky hair, chromatic eyes- blue in left eye and red in right eye- feminine figure with beautiful skin color and warmth aura around him appeared behind the bijus.
Naruto eyed him curiously but didn't say anything.
Silencing the bijus, the man glanced at Naruto. Naruto immediately straightened himself, rubbing his cheeks sheepishly. He knew nothing about the man so he had no idea how to start a conversation with him.
A heartily laugh escapes the man's mouth, surprising Naruto. The biju's are starting to giggle again but not quiet loud like earlier.
"Relax. I wont bite you…" The man said. Naruto looked away and used his hands to hide his embarrassment.
"Mou…"
He stood up straight and looked at the man with a scowl on his face (pout). He points the man, then the bijus.
"Who are you? And why are you guys here?... This is heaven right?... I didn't remember anything that all of you died at the war!" Naruto folded his arms, waiting for their answers.
The man chuckled, making a step closer to Naruto.
"I'll explain everything… First, you may sit as we had a long explanation today…"
Naruto eyed him briefly before nodding. He sat back at the bed while the man also took a seat next to him. The bijus sat down the white floor, surrounding the bed.
"You're not in the afterlife yet, Naruto… Presently, You're in Celestial Domain. They're hometown.."
Naruto was beyond shocked, he felt his heart ache the moment he heard he wasn't in the afterlife yet meaning- he can't see his Kashi and his friends yet. And the fact that Kurama and the other bijus have a place they can call home, a place where they came from.
"Before your passing, The bijus united and used their last power to enter your mind and body. And by doing it, they can grant one most desire of the person they just possessed. "
"Most desire?... you mean… mine?"
The man nodded, patting Naruto's head.
"They want you to be happy, Naruto.. and that explain why you're here with us… but aside from that there is something bad going on that we needed your help to change the outcome of it.…"
"... about what?"
The man and the bijus suddenly turn serious, surprising Naruto, He eyed all of them in worry and curiosity.
"Kami-sama… If you'll let me… " Kurama spoke up, the man named Kami nodded to Kurama.
Kurama jump off to Naruto's lap and lay comfortably on it.
"We need your help kit!... Another world is predicted to crumble soon if we will do nothing to stop it from happening…"
Naruto was taken back at the new information, he's face turned serious after hearing it. He looked at the other bijus to confirm it and he got a nods from them.
"What will happen if that world will crumble or destroyed? How much damage will it cost?" -Naruto
"If one world was destroyed, the parallel world of it will also crumble…" -Kurama
"Meaning, two worlds will be destroyed and I can't do anything but to erased it existence… Leaving no trace that those two world even exists." -Kami
Naruto's eye widen in surprised, eyes reflecting pain on it. Two worlds will be erased if one world will be destroyed.
"Kit, we need your help to saved that world and its parallel world…" – Kurama
"Why me?" Naruto softly asked, clenching the bed sheet tightly from the pain brought by his chest.
"Because you already saved the parallel world of it." Gyuki, the eight tailed biju said surprising Naruto again.
"I did?" Naruto point himself in disbelief.
"Ah, The world you came from Naruto… Currently, the people, everything on that world are moving on along with the peace you leave at them behind. And if the foresight will be true that the parallel world will be destroyed, your world will also crumble together with it…" Shukaku, the Ichibi said.
Naruto suddenly feel numb. Multiples knives stabbing his heart repeatedly. His sight are starting to get blurry because of the tears. Different memories played repeatedly before his eyes. The world where he share bad and good memories with his previous people.
"O-our world will be destroyed too….?" He choked between his words, covering his mouth.
The bijus looked away as they don't want to watch their savior so heartbroken and fragile. It pained them to see him like this.
"Naruto… If you want… we can continue this later… you need to take some rest first.… maybe we were rushing things right now.."
Naruto shook his head harshly, wiping his tears away and looked at Kami with determined face. Eyes showing his new resolved like the Naruto they used to know. Everyone sighed in relief and throw a soft smile in Naruto's direction.
"N-No.. I want to hear it right now! Please tell me how to saved our world! Kashi, my friends and everyone else sacrifice themselves so that we can gain the peace we dream of… I wont let their sacrifices go to waste…I wont let anyone… destroyed my world… " Naruto took a deep breath to calm himself.
Kami smiled.
"If you say so… Then I'll continue.. You better listen Kit.." Kurama has a small smile but not quiet enough for everyone to see. Naruto nodded and caressed Kurama's purr gently.
"You already knew about your world as the parallel of the world you are going to change… Listen about this kid. This might shocked you a little so be prepared…"
Naruto gulped but nodded nonetheless, he doesn't know if Kurama was scaring him or reassuring him on the tone of voice the fox just used.
"The two worlds were parallel therefore, the places, people, and everything on that two world are the same…"
"Eh? Hieeeee??? So you mean… you mean... There are Kashi and everyone else in that world!??"
"Hai, hai… They are… let me finish first… You can react later…" Naruto pouted at his friend but still obeyed.
"Like I said earlier, That world is the same as where we came from but the only thing isn't, is that the fact that there is no Uzumaki Naruto existed. Instead of you, the person on the prophecy will be called Uzumaki Menma…. And that kid will bring the world to its end…"
Naruto's face shows different emotions- confusion, hurt, determination and a little resentment. Eyes seems distant.
"Uzumaki Menma… huh…. So what I am gonna do?"
This time, Kami is the one who answered.
"You will be sent to that world and change the outcome."
"Huh?"
"You'll be sent to that world to be Menma's older brother… You need to change the way he see the world around him. Right now, he's struggling and he needed someone to help him.. If no one will help him.. He will become something we fear of and destroyed the world.. He's a total opposite of you, Naruto… He sees the world as cruel and needed no salvation from being an accursed world. You are the only one who can change him… I believe in you.."
Naruto understood everything. He didn't answer but a simple nod full of determination is needed to reassured the others.
"So, he's just like me… Kami-sama! I want to save him before its too late…" Naruto smiled softly. Kami nodded and glad he got a positive answer from the blondie.
"I'm glad to hear that… It pains me to watch as my children suffers in their world and there is nothing I can do to ease it. I am happy that you were born Naruto, my son… You will the sun and light to everyone… guide them upon your grace to the right path, I am counting on you…"
"Hehe, thanks for believing on me Kami-sama!"
"Saa… Menma is probably waiting for his savior to come right now.. Are you ready?..."
"Yes, but how about Kurama and them?"
"We can't. but we can send and share chakra link to ourselves on that world. That way ourselves there can recognize you and accompany you in your mission… " Kurama said. Naruto nodded in response.
He grinned at them.
"Really? Hahaha I'm glad! At least I have someone I knew from that world! Kami-sama, rest assured! I'll saved Menma!"
"I know… Lets go.. I'll gave you something before you took off…"
Naruto followed the man with the bijus tailing behind them. All of them entered a room that appeared out of nowhere.
"I'll gave you a blessing and power that can help you on your living. You can do whatever you want Naruto. It is up to you, I know you can saved that world… Change it the way you like it to be… Kurama and others will definetly help you… but remember… You must never tell anyone about the real you, and the possible future…"
Naruto smiled brightly and nod. Kami held Naruto's left hand, placing his finger in the middle of the hand. A light appeared until it disappear leaving a 'Sun' mark on it. He did the same in the right hand but the mark was 'Moon' this time.
Naruto was beyond awed. He looks happy like a baby that received his first gift.
"Enter the magic circle… Before I forgot. Your identity is Menma's older brother. You are Minato and Kushina's long lost son. Your name will remain as Uzumaki Naruto… Good luck on your new life…"
Naruto waved a last goodbye to them before parting off using the magi circle.
He was excited, heck- he can even feel his insides jumping off from excitement. He have given a chance to see his lover and everyone else again, alive and breathing.
" I wonder if Kashi and others were still the same…"
He smiled again before drifting himself to sleep brought by the dizziness caused by travelling through portals.
