Summary: Gibbs has two secrets. One that only Ducky knows about and the other that both Ducky and Kate know about. There's a reason behind his secret but the truth comes out. KIBBS! Kate lives

"Can you at least drive like a sensible person, Agent Gibbs!?" Kelly yelled as she and McGee fell backward when Gibbs sped over a speed bump making the truck bounce.
Gibbs smirked. "Well. Did you die?" Kate turned her head and gave him a glare before he ran over another speed bump making everyone jump again.
"No. But my ass is being lifted 5 feet off of the god damn ground!" Kelly yelled as she tried to grip onto the side of the truck, only to slip and hit her head on the floor.
"God damn it." She groaned, rubbing her head.
Gibbs stopped the truck making everyone fly forward before he killed the engine and got out.
"I swear. Sometimes I could just-"
"Kate!"
"Coming!" Kate yelled before climbing over Tony and getting out of the truck.
"Mmm, can we do that again? I didn't- Ow!" Tony exclaimed when Kate elbowed him before walking over to Gibbs.
Tony got out of the truck while rubbing his side. He walked over to the back and opened the door to see Kelly and McGee both lying on the ground, rubbing their heads.
"Out. Now. Before Boss has our heads." Tony ordered as McGee stood up, helping Kelly up and all three grabbed the gear and went over to Kate and Gibbs.
"Tony, bag and tag. McGee, talk to the witnesses. Kelly, help Kate with the pictures and find any other evidence around here." Gibbs barked before walking towards the body.
"And someone call Ducky!"
Kate sighed before smiling at Kelly. "Why don't you start by taking pictures of the body and I'll call Ducky?"
Kelly gasped and grabbed the camera. "Oh, my god! Yes!"
Kate smiled as she watched Kelly walk over to the body and start taking pictures. She took out her phone and dialed Ducky's number when she saw the truck pull up. Rolling her eyes, she put her phone away and walked over to the truck.
"I am sorry, Caitlin. Palmer here." Ducky glares at Palmer before looking at Kate with a smile. "Took the wrong road." Ducky said as he got out of the truck as Palmer got out with a sheepish smile.
"Sorry." He said as Kate just smiled.
"It's alright. Gibbs is waiting for you near the body. Tony is bagging and tagging. McGee is with the person who found the body."
"Ah. And what about-"
"Hey! I got the pictures. There doesn't seem to be anything else I can do so...I'll probably just stick around with you." Kelly said as she handed Kate the camera before looking at Ducky.
"Hi, Ducky!"
"Hello, Kelly dear. How-"
"Greetings later, crime scene now. Duck, the body was found by a couple who was taking a stroll. He is a Chief Petty Officer but no I.D."
"Then how did they know he was a-"
"Mister is wearing his uniform. He has his rank on the shoulder patch." Points to shoulder. "The patch on his shoulders shows three arrow-looking lines under the half-circle and white-perched eagle." Kelly explained making Gibbs smile.
"Your girl's learning, Jethro."
"She's a Gibbs, Ducky. Makes sense." Kate said as she winked making Kelly grin and Gibbs smirk. Ducky sighed as he walked over to the body and examined it from the position it was in.
"Ah, well we have a bullethole. There's an entry but no exit." Ducky announced as Gibbs crouched down near the body and examined it as well.
"Is that what killed him, Duck?"
"I'm afraid not, Jethro. It appears that our killer slit his throat as well."
"Then why bother shooting the poor guy?" Kelly asked as she and Kate stood behind Gibbs.
"Well, maybe the bullet wasn't able to kill him so he went with slicing his throat." Kate shrugged as Ducky looked up at the two ladies.
"It is a possibility, Caitlin. But, we won't know until we get the body back to my lab." Ducky said as he and Gibbs stood up. Ducky looked around for Palmer when he noticed the gurney wasn't there.
"Now, where the hell is Palmer?" Ducky asked, not really to anyone but himself when Palmer appeared behind him.
"Right here, Sir...Wow." Palmer said once his eyes laid on Kelly who smiled at him. Gibbs saw this and glared at Palmer who cleared his throat and looked down.
"Not gonna happen." Gibbs said as he leads Kate and Kelly away and over to the truck.
"Where is-" Gibbs rolled his eyes when he saw Tony talking to a girl who was giggling at something he said.
"I swear, DiNozzo is going to be dead soon if he keeps flirtin' with every girl he lays his eyes on. Hey!" Gibbs yelled making Tony wave to the girls and jog over to his boss.
"What's up, Boss?"
"Your life will be up in 3 seconds if you don't tell me what the hell you found other than your girlfriend over there."
"Oh, boss. She's not my-" TWACK.
Kelly snorted and started laughing quietly while Kate tried to hide her laugh.
"Right. Sorry, boss. There really wasn't much to bag and tag."
"I don't care. What the hell did you find?"
"Well, I found his car keys about 7 feet away from the body."
"Did you try the key?"
"Yep. The key works for that red car over there." Tony said, pointing to the red car in the park's parking lot.
"Good job, DiNozzo. Kate! Kelly!" Gibbs shouted as he walked away, Kate and Kelly following him. The three walked over to the car and started looking through it.
"Here. Wear this and then go through the trunk." Gibbs said, handing Kelly a pair of gloves before giving her the keys.
Kelly nodded, "On it, Boss." She grabbed the keys after putting on her gloves and went to the back of the car as Kate giggled. She and Gibbs were looking through the inside when Gibbs heard a noise.
"Do you hear that?" Gibbs asked Kate, making her look up at him.
"Hear what?"
"It sounds like...Like a beeper." Gibbs said as he got out of the car and walked around it. He walked to the back as he heard the beeping sound get louder. Gibbs got on his knees and checked under the car where he saw a timed bomb. He shot up, grabbed Kate and Kelly, and started running right before the car exploded. They all got on the ground and Gibbs covered the girls' heads while he somewhat laid on top of them, covering half their bodies. Gibbs raised his head and looked back to see the car in flames before looking down at the girls.
"You guys okay?" He asked softly as he stood up and helped them up before checking them to make sure they weren't hurt.
"I'm fine, Dad."
"I'm alright, Gibbs. My head just hurts from throwing myself on the ground." Kate said as she rubbed her head before giving something to Gibbs.
"What's this?" He asked, taking the device which was a flash drive and a small computer.
"I grabbed these before we ran. Thought it would help." Gibbs smiled at Kate.
"Good girl." Kate smiled at him.
"O...kay. I'm gonna go over to McGee." Kelly said, walking away with a smile on her face.
