Chapter 2

Katie sat at her desk; her eyes went to the photo of a man standing alongside her. She smiled with sadness in her heart when she saw him. Katie reached for the photo and ran her fingers over his face. She gasped, and she couldn't stop the tears that ran from her eyes.

"Where did you go?" she whispered. "I miss you so much even though my memories are so weird," Katie said as she put the picture back.

She heard sounds outside, like vehicle doors closing, and she frowned because no one was expected over today. Well, not like she had many friends anymore; even family was gone now. She sighed and got up, heading for the door.

Katie immediately spotted the tinted SUVs and saw how they were spreading out on her property. She grabbed a rifle and went outside; she could tell that these guys were trouble.

"What the hell are you doing on my property?" she demanded as the one who seemed to be in the lead took his sunglasses off, and she frowned.

"Look, we're looking for a Mr. Cade Yeager," he said as he watched the weapon in her hands.

The guy's pack of armed friends aimed their weapons at her.

"Look, I need to speak with Cade Yeager, so just put your rifle down because, as you can see, you're outgunned," he remarked.

"You know, just because you're a freaking actor doesn't mean you can come on people's property and act like a dick," she growled as she heard growling in the back and saw a group of rabid raccoons. "Shit," she muttered.

Before any of the men could react, she took out the pack of infected raccoons.

"Nice shooting, but still put it down," he ordered.

"If I hadn't, your friends would have been needing a rabies shot, so I'll be keeping my gun; thank you very much," Katie remarked.

"Why did you call me an actor?"

Katie turned back toward him.

"Your name is Titus Welliver," she remarked.

"No, my name is James Savoy," he replied as she burst out into a fit of laughter while his whole team watched her thinking she was crazy.

"Anyone ever tell you that you might have multiple personalities?" Katie asked.

"Alright, very funny, where is Yeager?" Savoy finally demanded.

"Okay, listen very carefully; I live here alone; there is no one else," Katie remarked.

"This isn't the Yeager farm in Texas?" Savoy asked as he looked at his GPS, and all indicators showed they were where they were supposed to be.

"You missed Texas by a few states, sorry, Savoy," Katie remarked.

Katie jumped when her cell phone rang.

"Excuse me," she replied as she answered the phone. "Hey Haley, what's up? Wait, what, slow down your talking too fast," Katie said, trying to listen to her friend, "Okay, I'll check my computer, hold on," Katie said as her eyes locked with Savoy's. "I have to take this call. I am assuming you can find your way off my property," she snapped as she turned away and headed for her house.

"What are we going to do, sir?" one of Savoy's team member's asked as Savoy watched Katie more than a little pissed off.

"She's getting in the way. Do a sweep over her property, now!" Savoy ordered. "Banner!"

"Yeah, boss," he said.

"Find out who she is talking to on the phone," Savoy ordered.

"You got it, boss," he said as he followed where Katie had gone.

Already inside the house...

"Alright, what's going on, Haley?" Katie asked.

"Every single fanfiction site I thought they were gone, but they aren't, but Katie, every single Transformers story is gone even crossovers. All my collector's items are gone everything, and if that wasn't enough, all the fanfiction trailers you have on YouTube are gone that have to do with Transformers. Everything with Transformers is gone, Katie, everything!" Haley exclaimed.

Katie had to think for a moment about the guy who claimed to be James Savoy looking for Cade Yeager.

Dear God, it was actually James Savoy and Cemetery Wind!
