Chapter 4

Katie called her best friend Haley Mars on her cell phone, as she needed to tell her what was going on. She knew Haley would believe her because she always believed Transformers were somehow real, and now well now they all were getting a wake up call.

That their beloved Transformers were truly real, and Katie realized her boyfriend was none other than Optimus Prime himself.

How cool was that?

She was in such deep thought she hadn't heard Savoy come back into the house, she waited for Haley to pick up. Savoy watched the young woman with narrowed eyes as she spoke to her friend.

"Hey Haley, you are never going to believe what is going on? I think I know what happened to Oscar and I think I know what is going on right now. I believe the realms crossed over into our world, I was right too Cemetery Wind is here and Mr. Personality is leading them. But Hals something is different with…" Katie started to say but then stopped when she had a feeling she was being watched. "Call you back," Katie said then as Savoy eyed her.

"Like keeping secrets, don't you?" Savoy demanded.

"I don't know what you're talking about," Katie remarked.

Savoy smirked, but not in a nice way.

"So, who's Oscar?" Savoy asked as she rolled her eyes.

"That's none of your business," she snapped.

"I'm making it my business," he snapped.

Katie bristled. She didn't like Savoy, but the other half had a good part with a soul. She cared what happened to that side of him. Suddenly, however, Savoy grabbed his head yelling out obscenities dropping to the kitchen floor.

Katie realized what was going on and went to his side.

"James!" she exclaimed.

"Damn it, he's getting stronger, Katie, we've got to figure out a way to do this soon," James said.

Katie helped him to his feet while he leaned on her for a moment.

"You alright?" she asked.

"Yeah, thanks," he said as Katie helped him sit on a chair.

"You know, I've been thinking Quintessa is a Cybertronian witch, so it would follow if we can kill her then any and all spells she cast would be broken," Katie explained.

James and Katie's eyes locked for a moment. His eyes went to her lips for a moment, but then stopped.

"You love someone, don't you?" James asked.

She reached for the picture of her and Oscar. A sad smile touched her lips then.

"His name was Oscar," she started to say. "He disappeared. I miss him so much. He was my hero, but I have to tell you something." she said as she began to explain the whole story shocking James completely.

"Don't ever let Savoy put two and two together on that," James remarked.

"I know," she said.

James was quiet for a few moments then.

"So, you love him then?" James asked.

Katie smiled sadly.

"With all I am, but I don't even know if he is alive because obviously this isn't like the movies," Katie said.

James needed to do something before Savoy made an appearance again. He slid his hand into Katie's and squeezed.

"Thank you for helping me," he said gently as pulled her lower and kissed her.

A tender kiss but nonetheless a soul-stirring jaw-dropping kiss Katie couldn't seem to pull away from.

He wasn't sure why he did it, and maybe he was wrong. He logically knew it was wrong to do it, but what if Optimus wasn't alive or what if Quintessa had him already?

Then his mind said….. What if he is alive?

Optimus was thinking to himself while Cade worked on him. He was lost in his own thoughts. His memory banks going to his Katie.

Memory 1

Optimus' human holoform laid on Katie's bed when she came out wearing the most seductive nightgown. Optimus was frozen on the bed at first. She was so beautiful. His spark raced with love when he saw her.

"Hey sexy," she whispered as he locked eyes with hers.

He started to talk until she climbed her way toward him by the foot of the bed kissing her way everywhere until she reached his lips. Optimus' holoform was panting by the time she finished with him.

"I love you, Oscar," she whispered.

"I love you too, my Katie," he said softly wishing it was his true name she used to tell him she loved him.

She fell asleep in his arms. He vowed to never let her go; she belonged to him and him alone.

Memory 2

They laid on top of his vehicle form watching the stars, and it made him smile when her hand ran up and down his holoform's chest. He was falling in love with her. And after being told he'd never fall in love, because he was not wanted or needed in that way.

It made him feel loved and needed.

He wanted to bond with this human girl. She was his whole world and universe. She gave his lonely life meaning a new purpose.

Memory 3

He had taken her out for a special dinner. He made a special ring out of his metals, and this human female would be his now. He wanted her in his life forever. He had given her the ring and asked her and she threw her arms around his neck and kissed him saying yes.

That night they had interfaced but he had asked her a question he knew she would find odd.

"Would you mind interfacing on my vehicle with me instead of your home?" he asked.

"Sure," she had said.

It was wild. They had both screamed each other's names in pleasure. The only problem was he couldn't get back to her that wasn't the thing he had lost. What he hadn't known was when they were together his spark had a mind of its own.

And, he was sparked.

When he was so badly injured by Cemetery Wind he had lost the sparkling. He had lost so much his soldiers, Katie, and then their sparkling.

What more was he supposed to lose?

Katie opened her eyes and saw James lying next to her in her bed, and she frowned and started to get up until James grabbed her arm.

"Nothing happened, we just kissed. I just wanted to hold you in bed that was all, I promise you I wouldn't do anything to mess up our friendship," James said.

"Are you sure?" she asked.

"Yes, I am sure," he answered but still had a seductive smile. "I'm not saying I wasn't thinking of making love to you, but you love Optimus Prime so I will behave," James said as part of him hoped Optimus wouldn't return.

He liked Katie.

Cade Yeager, his daughter, and Shane were helping Optimus not just stay alive but reunite him with Katie. Optimus had given Cade Katie's full name and Cade ran the name and learned she didn't exist. The more they researched Optimus' mystery girl the more they kept up empty-handed.

It was frustrating to Cade, but they kept up for Optimus' sake. It wasn't until Tessa and Shane came up empty-handed too. Cade realized they needed to take a different look at the situation, one that none of them had realized before.

"What if there is another explanation?" Cade asked.

"Like what?" Tessa asked.

"What if he somehow went into another realm or dimension and that's why he can't find her or why we can't find out anything about her?" Cade asked his daughter and Shane as both glanced over toward the lonely Autobot Commander.

"Daddy, we have to find her…. for him." Tessa replied as Optimus' memories hit memory banks one by one of his Katie.

"Please Primus, do not let me lose her too," he begged. "Please Primus," Optimus whispered as Tessa walked up to him.

"We will find her," Tessa said firmly that Optimus truly believed the blonde.

"Alright, I will believe in hope once more," he said.

"Good," Tessa said.

Cade smirked. He had to admit Tessa knew how to calm anyone down even this gentle being who just wanted a home and love.

Katie had ordered the pizzas like Savoy wanted. She only did it because James had warned her about getting on Savoy's bad side until he was taken care of. Katie had done some digging around about possible conclusions regarding Savoy.

She figured Quintessa wanted Optimus taken prisoner so badly she was willing to use humans under spells to get it done. It made her furious. Mostly, because that was her Optimus Prime or rather Oscar.

She missed him so badly.

But she kept thinking what if Primus was wrong, what if Optimus couldn't go back to her or what if he was hurt and alone with no one to help him?

"Optimus," she whispered.

But she was also confused with what was going on between her and James, she didn't know what to do. She was in such deep thought she didn't realize that James came back inside the house.

"Hey, anything new?" James asked as she jumped slightly. "Sorry, didn't mean to startle you," he replied.

She smiled sadly.

"You didn't not really I was just in deep thought, was all," Katie said.

James frowned then.

"Optimus?" he asked.

Katie heard the turn in his voice. He was not happy about the fact she was clinging to hope that he'd return for her.

"You don't think he will make his way back to me, do you?" she asked.

He shrugged then.

"Katie, he could be captured or dead, I mean I'm not trying to be negative but maybe you should move on," James replied.

She glanced at him then.

"With you?" she asked.

"Is that such a bad idea?" James asked.

Was it?

To her it was she was loyal and loved Optimus.

"I need that hope to hold onto," Katie said as James shook his head.

"I'll be outside," James said as he went outside and stopped when he saw Savoy's men with someone who looked exactly like him.

"What the hell?" James said.

"You, get your ass over here, we need to talk!" Savoy said.

James didn't know what to make of this they hadn't split bodies yet, so, who the hell was this?

James stared at this double. He wasn't sure what to do if this was some sort of deranged trick done by someone or what.

"Who the hell are you?" James demanded.

"You, dumbass, you want that girl I know you do, because I did too and I know how to make sure you win and get her. But you have to lose that conscious of yours if you want what should be yours and not his. Are you in?" Savoy asked James.

James narrowed his eyes, and glanced back toward Katie's house.

"I'm listening," James replied.

"He is going to find his way here. I will make sure he sees you and the girl together, when he does he will surrender himself to me. You and the girl get to live happily ever after and I will get him," Savoy said.

James frowned.

Could he betray her like this to get what he wanted? He cared about her. He would sooner share her with Optimus then hurt her like that. James thought for a minute why couldn't he have them both?

He could have the best of both worlds.

"Well?" Savoy asked.

"No," James retorted.

Savoy sneered then.

"Do you think that you have a chance without my help?" Savoy demanded.

"I'll take my chances with not just her but him," James said as Savoy looked disgusted then.

"You have problems. You would settle for both of them and not just the girl?" Savoy hissed. "What the hell is wrong with you? You are I are the same and I take what I want," he growled. "Just do as I say, and she'll be all yours,"

James got into Savoy's face then.

"We are NOT the same, and never will be!" James shouted.

"You really need to get rid of that wuss side of you…" Savoy never finished the sentence James slammed his fist into Savoy's face.

"Crawl back under your rock where you came from," James snapped.

"This isn't over," Savoy snarled as he turned to leave as he took the Cemetery Wind team that was there with him.

It dawned on him that his team didn't even realize there were two, abruptly however James felt a sudden surge of sickness. He took off for the house and got inside just as he unexpectedly started to throw up snakes along with blood.

It paralized him with fear not understanding what was going on with him. However, he saw Katie by his side.

"Hold still, I got a vision about this and how to break her spell she put on you, Your body already split but she used a powerful spell which on a human causes this type of reaction if a human warlock or witch casts a spell too. So, someone whammied you with a damn powerful spell," Katie said as she killed the snakes.

James kept throwing them up and couldn't talk. She rubbed his back gently. She saw how his body trembled. She had never seen a person have so many snakes from this kind of spell before.

It scared her. Whoever did this was powerful, very powerful.

She finally helped him into the spare bedroom, and got him into the bed, held a washcloth on his face, and took care of him.

"So, that was actually Savoy who approached he made it seem like he was from somewhere else," James said weakly,

"No, it was him," she said, gently wiping his face with the washcloth.

"He wanted me to betray you by seducing you and hurting Optimus to the point he'd turn himself in to Savoy. I couldn't wouldn't ever do that to you or him no matter how attracted I am to you. I would sooner try to make it work with the three of you or sacrifice not having you at all," he said.

She smirked.

"You want a threesome with me and Optimus?" she asked not giving away her feelings about that idea.

He glanced at her suddenly afraid he had said that part.

"I… Skip it.." he said with a laugh.

Silence…

"I was wrong," he said.

"You were wrong?" she asked as he glanced over at her.

"Yeah, when Optimus is back I will leave," James said.

James turned over and slowly fell into a fitful sleep, while Katie felt a bit sad for James. She went out into the family room.

Would Optimus share her? She wondered about that he seemed a bit possessive and protective when they were together. She bit her lip then.

What was she doing? Optimus loved her and she loved him; she couldn't suggest such a thing to him.

Could she?

Tessa and Shane had explained to Optimus their idea and they had an idea where to look for splits in realms. Optimus was willing to try to anything to get his mate back. His spark hurt when he tried to reach for her and found nothing there.

It was void of her love, warmth and his spark craved her. He was falling apart without her.

"Katie," he whispered.

Katie had gone into her room, and called Haley on the computer. She told her everything. Haley was quick to pick up her best friend seemed off a bit.

"What's wrong?" Haley asked.

"I am worried about Optimus and what he will think of what James wants, Hals, Optimus has been through so much," Katie answered. "I mean now that I know Oscar was actually Optimus and thinking about the movies even though this doesn't seem to be following the movies exactly," Katie asked her friend.

"Katie, you've got a chance to make things totally better for him now, besides what if he likes the idea of a three way bond. You said he was both a gentleman and kinky, right?" she asked.

Katie laughed, and blushed at the same time.

"He's not the only one who's kinky," Katie said out loud making Haley burst out into a fit of laughter.

"What?" Katie asked suddenly as she felt her cheeks flare with heat. "Damn," Katie said.

"Look Katie, is there something there between you and James?" Haley asked.

Silence…

"Yes," Katie answered.

"Then test it and when Optimus gets there tell him if he is like you think he will go for it," Haley said as Katie fell silent.

"And, if he doesn't then what? I risk hurting the most kind and compassionate being that has stolen my heart forever," Katie said.

Optimus drove to where Tessa and Shane told him to and when they drove through a tunnel the three humans felt an odd feeling of being pulled in different directions. Optimus felt something too, but it was his Katie.

He felt her once more!

"Katie! My Katie, I can feel her, Cade Yeager," Optimus replied.

"Can you pinpoint her whereabouts?" Cade asked.

"Yes, dear Primus, Katie I am coming home to you," Optimus said as he drove straight to her farmhouse.

Katie bit her bottom lip. She couldn't do this, it was wrong, and she knew better. James walked silently into the room. He liked this girl so much. She helped him, and he wanted her. He walked up silently, and pulled her into his arms.

He pushed her against the wall and kissed her with such a potent urgency she hadn't known before. When his tongue slid into her mouth Katie suddenly reacted to his kiss, and James realized she liked it.

So, he strengthened it, and allowed his hands to roam her. This gesture however didn't sit well with her, however, before she could stop him she heard a gasp. She turned her head to find Optimus' holoform, Cade Yeager, Tessa and Shane, and she saw the tears shining in his eyes.

She hurt him.

Shit!

"You do not want me any longer?" Optimus asked, walking slowly closer his spark raced wildly within his chest.

"No, she doesn't, she's with me now," James remarked as Katie spun around ready to hit him.

"James, what the hell are you doing?" Katie demanded.

"She's mine now, Prime," James remarked as Optimus never took his eyes off of her.

"He is the enemy. He hunted….. You are choosing him over me?" Optimus asked his confusion and pain so alive, making him confused.

"Oscar, please let me explain….."

"Explain what, that you broke his heart?" Tessa demanded as Optimus unexpectedly cried out from pain as they all heard gunfire.

"Perfect timing," James said.

Katie looked at James and realized something wasn't right.

"You said you turned him down," Katie demanded.

He laughed.

"I thought you were supposed to be some smart warrior to stop evil, not that impressive if you ask me," James remarked as she went to punch him. "Play nice, I have Optimus now," James replied as he left the farmhouse.
