Chapter 6 - Epilogue

Katie saw Ironhide, Ratchet and Sideswipe come in, she flipped down her eyes narrowed as she sneered at Savoy.

"Get Optimus out of here, I am going to kick your ass for everything you pulled, Savoy," Katie snapped.

"You might kick my ass, but I am going to kill you," Savoy retorted.

"Big words from a real, pussy," Haley snapped as he glared at Haley.

"You won't be killing me, what you don't know, ass wipe is I'm not just a demon hunter I am also Optimus' protector," Katie snapped as both Katie and Savoy started to battle each other.

Ironhide and Sideswipe tried to get Optimus, but he was refusing to move.

"She's going to get killed!" Optimus remarked. "Help her!" Optimus ordered as he watched his mate and Savoy fighting.

Katie used every form of karate she was taught. She sent a crippling kick to his privates which brought him to his knees.

"Bitch," he hissed.

"You will never hurt him ever again," Katie snarled as she sent another kick his way, which sent him flying against the wall.

Katie's hands flared up bright blue.

"He's MINE!" she snarled as Optimus realized his Katie never betrayed him, she was set up by this human.

Katie was trying to catch her breath when Haley started to walk toward her best friend. When she saw Savoy reaching for his gun.

"Katie, look out!" Haley yelled as she went for her own gun as the sound of shots went off...

Katie stared in shock, as Haley stared at her with horror on her face. Katie fell to the floor with a gunshot wound in her chest as blood ran down her mouth. Haley out of instinct ran to Katie and pulled her into her arms.

"No, no, no, please don't die, you're my best friend please!" Haley screamed as Optimus was numb.

He felt it. She was leaving him. Her life force was living him. Ironhide was ready to fire at the human when Cade, Tessa and Shane came running in with James. James saw Katie on the floor and his anger went crazy.

He glanced over toward Savoy, and he automatically knew what he had to do.

"Get them out of here," he said as he looked back at Optimus. "Take care of her and love her," James said as he went toward Savoy and reached for him.

"Let go of me, bastard!" Savoy snarled.

"Where is she?" James demanded.

"I'm not telling you shit," Savoy snapped as he put Savoy's gun to his head.

"Something Katie said to me made me think of something Attinger mentioned and it didn't click until now. Quintessa is human, isn't she?" James demanded.

Silence...

"Answer me or I will blow your brains out," James threatened.

"Yes," Savoy growled.

"Show me," James ordered.

"You're screwed in the head if you kill her, we both die!" Savoy yelled.

"Right, but Katie will live and Optimus will take good care of her I don't deserve either one them," James whispered. "Go, now show me," he snapped.

Ratchet scanned Katie's body and realized her heart had stopped beating, and he sighed sadly.

"Optimus, I'm sorry," Ratchet said.

"Katie? Please, no!" Optimus shouted in pain as Haley held onto Katie's body, while Cade, Tessa and Shane walked over.

"I am so sorry, Optimus," Cade said.

"She came back for me and saved me, Savoy set her up and I believed it," Optimus whispered as he collapsed onto the ground his spark broken.

He didn't want to live now, he lost her.

Savoy led them to the room where Quintessa was he saw her body was on some type of table with something keeping her stable.

Her new human body was unstable.

James realized that fact and the second he did Savoy tried to fight him. The two fought and this time James fought just as dirty he no choice.

"This is for Katie!" James yelled.

James released the safety on Savoy's gun and fired at Quintessa twice killing her by hitting her fragile human body. The second he did both he and Savoy fell to the floor...

Both dead.

Haley was sobbing right along with Optimus while she held her best friend in her arms. She jumped when she felt Katie's hand move and touch her hand.

"W... Why are you and Optimus crying?" Katie whispered as Ratchet, Ironhide and Sideswipe and the others all looked her way.

"Optimus, she is alive," Ratchet and Ironhide said as they helped Optimus up to foot pedes.

"K...Katie?" Optimus questioned softly.

"Optimus, why are you crying, what happened?" she asked.

"You died! If you pull that again I am going to kick your ass!" Haley yelled.

Katie couldn't help but laugh, but she yelped as she still felt an uncomfortable pain in her chest.

"Sorry, what happened?" Katie asked.

"Savoy shot you, he was too quick, Katie," Haley said as she and Cade helped her up to her feet.

Katie got steady on her feet, as she looked around.

"Didn't you free James?" Katie asked.

"We did but when he saw you on the floor dead, he told us to get you out of here," Cade said.

"He went after Savoy," Tessa said.

"Savoy was already here," Danny said coming in.

"Danny?" Optimus asked.

"He sacrificed himself to bring back Katie," Danny explained as Katie frowned.

"Wait, he figured it out?" Katie asked.

"Figured what out?" Optimus asked.

"Quintessa was human not Cybertronian like I first thought, and her body was unstable so, it would figure she had to be placed on some of special thing to keep her alive," she

However, then she realized what James did, and Optimus realized it too.

"He sacrificed himself so you'd be brought back to me," Optimus whispered.

She smiled sadly.

"He wanted to be in a relationship with us both," Katie said as Optimus smirked slightly.

"Interesting idea," Ratchet said as he watched Haley.

"Yeah, but he's gone, even though I am thankful for what he did," Optimus said.

"No, he isn't gone, Optimus Prime," Danny said as his form changed into the one Katie knew to be Primus.

"Primus?" she said.

"Primus, why didn't you intervene and stop them from torturing him?" Haley asked.

"I can not just willy nilly use my powers abusing my powers," Primus said. "Besides, you two have more to discuss I believe," Primus said as he nodded toward the area where James had disappeared with Savoy.

Primus had disappeared.

"Hey, can a scragglier get a lift," James said.

"Your alive!" Katie exclaimed as he walked up.

Optimus' wounds had healed by Primus' powers and the four Autobots transformed and headed for Katie's. Primus had made the building KSI used disappear and left no trace of them.

They made Katie's home stronger and more protected with Cade's help, as he, Tessa and Shane along with Haley had moved in Katie's home. Ratchet and Haley had an interesting interest in each one that Optimus found amusing.

"Ratchet, likes your friend," Optimus stated.

"Love is catchy," she said as James walked up.

"Hey," James said.

"Hey, I think we should add him now, don't you?" Katie asked Optimus.

"Long overdue," Optimus answered.

Optimus laid on the ground using his real body as his chest plates opened up, and watched as Katie and James climbed up into his hand. He placed them inside his chest plates.

"So, the same way we've done this using his holoform?" James asked.

"Yep," Katie answered as showed James the areas inside where he'd get the best reactions.

James was surprised when he touched Optimus' real spark in his true form it wasn't hot like he thought it would be. He could hear Optimus moan and purring at the same time, but the second they both went at his spark Optimus couldn't keep it together at all.

His spark broke apart and tendrils went into both Katie and James hearts, and moans and words of love and affection were shared with three beings tied together for eternity by love and compassion but most of all trust forever.
