Kaito P.O.V
I had to have Jii fill in for this heist. I was sick. I sneezed and had my second cup of tea and was drinking it when there was a knock on the door. I opened it an there was Hakuba. "Didn't you plan on going to a heist?" I croaked through a sore throat. "It was too easy. Besides Keibu told me you were sick. I wanted to look after you." he said. "Know some really good ways to help someone sick because Baya used to look after me." I sighed and spoke. "Don't blame me if you get sick." I said. He made some chicken noodle soup and actual home grown tea and checked my temperature as I ate.
"Some rest should do you some good. Maybe relaxing and tv. Heard that helps." he said. Mostly it was stay at home, watch tv and rest.
"Sure." I said. After awhile, I fell asleep in his arms.
Hakuba P.O.V
I smiled. He was pretty cute. Ok. For awhile I liked him. I gently tucked him in and called Baya saying I was staying at his place to look after him.
-The Next Day-
Kaito P.O.V
I found Hakuba fast asleep on the couch and smiled and tucked him in and my eyes widened seeing the mug we both drank out of...a indirect kiss from both of us. I smiled and kissed his cheek. "Arigato Tentei-san." I said softly and went to make breakfast for us.
Hakuba P.O.V
I woke up and found a plate of pancakes and bacon. I found Kaito feeding his doves. I checked his forehead. His fever had broken and he wasn't sick any more. I still felt an overprotectiveness for him. "Spare room is there if you need it Hakuba." he said smileing.
"Thanks. It worries me...you liveing alone." I said. He smiled at me.
