Kaito P.O.V
I ran into him in the cafe. I had literally bumped into him and the 2 of us were now face to face. I was now wipeing off his suit and offering to buy a new coffee for Shinichi who merely laughed it off. "It's fine. Didn't like the taste of it. Know a better place." he said. We got to a different cafe. We sat down and I ended up faced across him sort of like a...date.
"So you're a magician?" Shinichi said. I had used my fast reflexs and skills as a magician to keep us from being burned severely from the coffee and hot chocolate.
"Yeah. Sorry I couldn't save our drinks." I said. "It's fine. You kept us out of the hospital and that's what matters." he said smileing. I smiled. I may be a theif but I hated violence. After seeing my dad die in front of me I tried to keep people from being hurt. He took a sip of his coffee. "Does my rescuer have a name?" he asked. "Kuroba Kaito. Um Kudo-san do you usually invite random magician's for coffee?" I asked.
"I do when I already know them...Kid." he said watching me. "Besides you're out of costume and I only want to catch you."
I smiled at this. Him knowing was going to be interesting.
-A Few Weeks Later-
Kaito P.O.V
Aoko and Hakuba were now friends with his friends and I now saw Shinichi a lot which was hard to handle since I liked him a lot. We were now sitting together in the movies because we didn't want to watch some romantic comedy. "I think it's the boyfriend" he said. We picked a horror movie where you couldn't guess the end and there was a killer in it. "It's someone you don't suspect so it's probably a worker or someone. Someone that's quite and overlooked." I answered. That was what happened with his cases half the time too.
The quite ignored person ended up the culprit and then they went nuts and crying-fit or they sometimes lashed our with a weapon at times.
"True. You never lashed out or attacked anyone. Why are you this way?" he asked. "My dad died in front of me and was murdered." I whispered so only he heard. "I want to stop the group that did it but Nakamouri-keibu will die if he's involved." Shinichi paused and then spoke. "I will help you. I know how you feel." he said.
After awhile the movie was done and it turned out it was a butler.
