Kaito P.O.V
Tears fell from my eyes as I sat at my house crying. It was my fault that Jack Connery died. I should of done more or pulled him up or something. A knock came at the door and I opened it. There stood Hakuba. "Hi Kaito. Was checking on you since you were helping Nakamouri-keibu and stuff at the heist." he said. "Oh. It's pretty late. Your house is far from here. You should stay since that's the case." I said. I honestly felt like shit and didn't want to be alone at the moment.
Saguru nodded. I made his favorite tea for him and then went to head to bed when he pulled me into his arms.
"It isn't your fault. Some things just happen. You were blackmailed and almost killed." he said. Saguru knew that I was Kid and the 2 of us had been a couple for awhile. "Saguru I..." I began. "Kaito, let me help you out and take care of you since you went through a lot. Go get ready for bed love." he said gently kissing my forehead. I smiled softly feeling loved.
-The Next Day-
Hakuba P.O.V
We stayed at his place, watched movies and ate junk food. Anything to cheer Kaito up that day. I smiled gently holding him as I watched him gently. I kissed his lips softly as he curled up against me.
