Chip began to awoke. His vision blurred and muffled hearing made him feel disoriented and confused.

"Hey, boss, he's waking up." Wart said.

"Quiet! I'll take care of him." Fat Cat said.

"Where am I?" Chip muttered.

"Your doom." Fat Cat muttered.

"Who are you? I'm looking for my brother, have you seen him?" Chip asked.

"Who's that, Fat Cat?" Mole asked.

Fat Cat turned to Snout. "I think he means the red-nosed fella." Snout responded.

Fat Cat scoffed. "Right, well it doesn't matter." He said.

"Who are you guys?" Chip asked.

"Don't you know?" Fat Cat asked.

"No, I don't." Chip said.

"Do you even know your own name?" Wart asked.

Chip thought about it, then shook his head. "No, I can't remember my name. Do you know my name?" He asked.

"Do you all know what this means?" Fat Cat said with a huge smile.

They shook their heads no.

"It means he doesn't know he's a Rescue Ranger and we can go forward without plans and use him to take care of the rest of the Rescue Rangers." Fat Cat said.

"Oh, I see, get the leader to eliminate his own team members." Wart said.

Fat Cat began to evilly laugh, his voice carried as an echo across the island.

On the other side of the island, Dale returned out of breath and gasping for air.

"Dale, what's wrong? Where's Chip?" Gadget asked.

"He's injured, he got hit in the head with a coconut," Dale said, gasping for air.

"Come on, we have to go help him." Gadget said.

The Rangers then ran down the beach to save their injured friend.

"Now gentlemen. Here is the item in question. Tomorrow morning at roughly eleven o'clock Lady Clutchcoin's ship will be going by this island on her trip back from Cuba. We are going to pay a little visit because she has something I want. The world's largest diamond." Fat Cat explained.

"But boss, we tried to get that diamond the last time and we failed because of the Rescue-" Mole began to say but had his mouth covered by the other henchmen.

"Yes, but this time we have a secret weapon, him." Fat Cat said to point to Chip.

"Me?" Chip said, pointing at himself.

"But of course, you are my best worker. You take care of all my large projects." Fat Cat said.

"Gosh, I don't feel like a criminal though. It just seems strange." Chip said.

"Tisk tisk, you are too modest...say what's your name again?" Fat Cat asked.

"Um boss, the inside of his coat just said 'C' in it." Snout said.

It appeared as if the seawater that soaked Chip's jacket earlier wiped away his printed name inside his coat.

"We could call him Charlie," Mole said.

Fat Cat gave an unamused look to Mole. "Charlie? Really Mole?" He said.

"Charlie...That's got a nice ring to it." Chip said.

"Very well then, Charlie. You are in charge of getting me that diamond. Snout, Wart, go prepare Charlie's living quarters. Meeps, Mole, you stay and watch for the others." Fat Cat instructed.

On the other side of the island, the Rangers sat around a fire after a long, tiresome search.

Dale sighed. "I don't know where he went, he was just there," Dale muttered to himself.

"Don't beat yourself up lad, will find Chip." Monterey Jack said.

"It's all my fault, if I didn't make faces at that stupid swordfish, none of this would have ever happened," Dale said, beginning to cry.

"Aw, come here Dale. It's alright, we will find Chip safe and sound tomorrow." Gadget said, comforting Dale.

Dale looked up at Gadget with his teary eyes. "You promise?" He asked.

"I promise, Dale. Now let's get some sleep and will start looking for Chip tomorrow." Gadget said.

Dale and the others headed off to the tents that Gadget made.

"Good night guys." She sighed, staring back at the night sky next to the fire.

She continued to stare out at the clear night sky and bright moon projecting its shadow over the water. She sighed. "Wherever you are, Chip, I hope you're safe and I hope you return to us soon for Dale's sake." Gadget said quietly to herself.
