Author's Note:-

I know this story can be a bit boring and confusing but, just something I needed to write.

So I hope, you try to understand each emotion.

Lets get started!

The first ray of the sunlight poured into the room, the dawn chorus of melodic birdsong drifted in. It peeked inside to peer at two sleepy forms lying in eachother's arms, limbs entangled ,a black shirt covering their stark bodies, squashed with eachother.

The intruding sunlight disturbed hilary as she moaned, she opened her eyes slowly to face the ceiling, her head was hammering she hissed,'ah, where am I? hm?... this is my room. h-how did I get here? Oh! right ,Kai took me home last night,' She lifted her hands to rub her eyes, but she felt wierd,' hmm? how did my hand went this big? hm?,' she blinked a few times and realised someone is holding her hand, and its definetly not hers, she panicked and gulped, as she turned to look at herself, she was naked under a black shirt? she turned her head to her side to meet face to face with a very familiar face.

It was Kai!

She was thunderstruck , how did they both end up naked?

and as she tried to move away ,

" Ah! ",she felt immense pain between her legs, throbbing her whole body,

w-what happened last night?

She heard Kai groan in his sleep, as he woke up slowly clearing his gaze. He squeezed his eyes as he got a clear view , his head was throbbing from the alcohol , he saw a shock-struck hilary lying beside him naked, wait naked?

he went wide-eyed, last night activities came to his head.

He walked hilary home, they got close and kissed,

And then it hit him, he had slept with hilary.

He fucked up with Hilary!

He suddenly sat up, hilary sat up too clutching his black shirt to her chest, trying to hide her body , looking at him for an explanation.

"Kai...?", she asked looking at him, Kai just stared at her dumbfounded,

"I-I dont know hilary, I-It was just an accident, we drank too much and I- ,"he didnt have words to explain,

" just pretend like it never happened,"

with that he took his clothes and dashed away out of the room , he went to the guest room and went inside the bathroom and opened the shower, his whole body was trembling with…he didn't know what. All he knew was that he had lost his precious control and he didn't feel bad about it...

Meanwhile hilary sat on the couch dumbstruck...

Pretend like nothing happened?

'I-I ', she looked at the cushion cover that was stained with red blood,

that hit her, she had lost her virginity to kai, sh-she had done it with kai, she had a drunk sex night with Kai.

Her heart was thumping loudly.

She got up from there clutching the shirt tight

'and he says forget about it, how? how?, ' she thought as she stumbled ,her body was throbbing in pain.

She went inside the shower and sat on the cold floor, the water pouring all over her bruised body.

She looked at herself in the mirror, there were red marks everywhere how will she forget it with his marks on her,

'I , I have to talk it through with him...'she erases the fog off the mirror as she faces herself.

She goes out of the bathroom fully dressed, to talk with kai but he was nowhere to be seen, she looked down her balcony to see his car was gone,'he left',she thought sadly.

She will talk it out with him tomorrow, right now she wants to talk to someone who can listen to her...she used to share everything with kai but now?

Her phone rings, she looked at the Id,'mariah'.

'yeah, mariah...she'll listen to me', hilary puts on the caller.

"hils! i have something to talk to you!"

"yeah? me too.."

"I-I OH MY GOD! Rei! he, he proposed me to be his girlfriend! can you believe it?! we were merely dancing last night and then he took me to the corridor he had everything prepared, it was so perfect! so he proposed to me and i agreed, and then we uh! we did it! he he he he!," mariah giggled maniacally.

'mao is so happy right now, i dont wanna bother her with my problems',she hesistated in telling her.

"hils! are you listening!"

"yeah, yeah im , congratulations"

"so you said you had something to tell me! oh girl tell me did you finally find someone?"

"ah nothing, so are you going on a date?"

"how did you know?"

"its obvious, enjoy your date. I will see you later"

"oh sure i will, see you!"

She sat on her bed quietly suddenly streams of tears fell down her cheeks, she felt so lonely.

She needed someone, 'oh kai...why do we have to be in such mess? can we really be like how we used to be even after all these happened?'

She wiped off her tears as she fell on her bed staring at the ceiling,

"I have to face the truth! it was an accident ,a mistake. It means nothing to Kai, so I shouldn't feel anything either!", she assured herself.

'It'll be good for both of us,to forget what happened but why do I feel vexed in my chest?',she touched her chest, it was a feeling she can't explain.

She shaked her head as long as she doesnot think about it, it wont matter. Because it will never happen again.

FEW DAYS LATER

HILARY'S POV

I was sitting across the corridor, it was a grey afternoon with a dull sky and threatening rain.

Ever since that night, kai went missing as if he just disappeared.

He never came to meet me or any other teammates, all this time I would try to convince myself to stop thinking about him,

A part of mine was worried about him, but another part asked does he hate me so much now that he doesn't want to show up infront of me at all?

I dont know whats wrong with me more and more...

I tried to forget about that night so much, but they say the mind replays what the heart can't delete.

I asked myself thousands times, why? why do I feel something like that for Kai?

"The truth is that Im so attached to you, that I cant bear to loose you... Im afraid of losing you, Kai, "I realised it, kai by now has become an important part in my life, I dont want us to be strangers.

I just want him by my side, but where is he?

Its been a whole week, and there is no sign of Kai.

I never knew I could be in so much pain, yet thinking about him so deeply.

Suddenly a bolt of lightning tore across the sky and a peal of thunder followed, I yelped. I hated thunder and lightning, i-it reminds me of that day I lost my mom. I quickly ran inside and sat in a corner, the thunder and lightning raged with fury, I hated it, I hated it so much, mom! I-I feel so lonely, I remember how Kai would stay with me at these times, he knew my fear for thunder. I had astraphobia.

Kai, where are you? I-I miss you so much, AH! it crashed again, I covered my ears to block the sound, but the roaring was too loud.

Suddenly I felt somebody knocking on my door, Who would come at such time, in such weather?

Should I open the door?

Kai told me not to open door at times like this, it could be some bad guy.

But what if someone needs help...

I somehow stood up shaking with fear, I turned open the knob as the door opened, there was a tall figure soaked in rain panting heavily.

"W-Who is this-Hn? ", the lightning flashed heavily ,

Crash!*

Rumble! *

Hilary's Brain telling Hilary's Heart a Joke,

The heart laughed to tears,

it told the joke again and the heart laughed , but not that hard.

It kept repeating it and the heart stopped laughing.

Brain :- If you cant laugh at the same joke over and over again, why do you keep crying over people who hurt you over and over again?
