Huffing in an exaggerating way, Alya plopped herself down onto Marinette's bed as she tossed her phone off to the side. Nervously glancing at her exuberant friend Marinette decided against questioning why the girl had just randomly showed up in her room, late at this hour unprompted. As this was Alya she was quite glad that she was here tonight instead of patrolling outside where if Alya had come in... her parents would have freaked out with her just gone no traces! Still, her night wasn't going to be easy with the reporter of danger in her room.

"You okay Alya?" She asked tentatively to the other who now was sat straight up looking more distraught then before.

"He's out there!" For a brief moment Marinette had come to the worst conclusion, that...Hawkmoth... was out there or something. So she calmed down enough to pose the question to her friend, he had her arms crossed and a somber glare in her eyes. She plopped back down on the bed, her hair splaying around randomly, as Marinette sat down careful not to sit on her hair.

"Who is? I don't understand?" Marinette said as she looked to her friend patiently, doing her best to sound nonchalant but still enough to feel like herself. (She didn't want to scare her friend.)

"Chat noir!" Marinette felt confused and almost let out a laugh.

"Why is that bad? Aren't you happy you can film him for the ladybl--OW!" Marinette screeched as Alya pushed her playfully nearing the end of her sentence. The girls erupted into hysterics of laughter before Alya gave an answer, although she still pouted before claiming it was for a purpose--or so she claimed--but Mari wanted to know despite all her friends weird moods.

"He's being seen more and more..."

"And?" Mari asked still confused.

"When they're no akuma's. In random places. He's even going to shel-" Mari felt herself tone out what Alya was saying, as she thought of any reason chat would be out. Maybe helping in everyday tasks? Or helping the police with non-akumatized victims? She wouldn't know, but she was glad if he was doing that. At least Paris would still be a little safer during non-akuma like threats with her not there.

"--AND LETS NOT FORGET WHEN HE SHOWED UP NON OTHER THEN--" Alya paused as she took a deep breath as she whispered these words, as if anyone else could potentially over hear here as if she hadn't already been yelling.

"Here...multiple times." Marinette froze. How the fuck did Alya know? There's no way... what if she knew her secret? It's not the worst thing to happen but still, her concern grew horribly as Alya sat there smugly, a grin draped on her face as her arms were folded neatly as she let out a breath she had been holding.

"How much do you know?" Marinette asked, she'd rather the girl tell her what she knew rather then blather on and expose herself if Alya didn't know already.

"I know that...Chats been here in at least a total of four or so times, and that you guys somehow flirt, that's as much as I know." She said calmly, she didn't rush it or say it rudely, she was being calm and it freaked Marinette out to no ends. She of course understood why Alya was doing her best to remain calm, because the last time she had rushed to a conclusion...things had not ended well for either of them.

"Mari can you please please please tell me what's going on?" Alya begged with her best puppy dog eyes she could muster, hands folded in a neat begging type way, as she looked at Mari who only smiled before telling Alya only small portions.

"Only if this stays between you and me, deal?" She asked to her best friend.

"Deal!" And with that, the two shook hands. Mari explained how Chat had come to her of all people to help with an akuma battle and then eventually just became friends together, it was nothing much.

"OH MY GOSH, SO YOURE BEST BUDDYS--HEY WAIT IM STOLL NUMBER ONE RIGHT? Huh who am I kidding--of course I am! I'm freaking Alya Césaire!" She yelled as she squeezed her friend in for a tight hug, Mari smiled as she hugged back. At least she knew one thing about her life now.

Glancing at the console in her the foot of her bed, she glared back to Alya and dropped to grab the lone controller.

"Bet you won't beat this!" She yelled as a match that had been on pause suddenly unpaused.

"Oh it's so on girl!" Alya Césaire yelled as she jammed buttons to try and beat her competitive friend. Marinette was glad that she could relax for once, no worries about her ladybug problems, could just hang out with her friend, and even chat about--we'll Chat. Both girls went to bed happily that night not knowing that a certain black cat was only a few blocks away restless as he did his finest.
