Ronald Weasley was such an- an ignorant arse, implying that Hermione couldn't get a date to the Yule Ball! She was going with Viktor, thank you very much, not that it was any of his business, anyway. And then he had the absolute nerve to presume to call her a liar.
"Watch where you're going, Sherlock," Did- did Caroline Rosier just reference a muggle book series? Rosier must have caught her shock though, bugger. "Haven't I fucking told you enough Granger, I'm not a fucking blood supremasist! Merde!" Hermione just walked away.
She supposed Rosier hadn't ever called her a mud blood or anything of the sort, just bitch and idiot when Hermione did act like she was a blood purist. But she did still live with the Malfoys. And she was still a Slytherin! She couldn't not be one, even if she wasn't a loud one, like Malfoy.
A/N: sorry it's short (although I did warn you in the beginnng). And no, Caroline will not be going to the ball with Hermione. This is a very, very slow burn. They won't start dating until end of 4th/beginning of 5th. And yes, Hermione is a bit prejudiced against Slytherins, but that behavior is learned from pretty much everyone around her, even the teachers (points for playing chess, anyone?).
