Bon Yi went to school the next day.
The first thing she noticed was that a lot of people were gather in front of the school.
She saw a girl from her class and asked her what was going on.
"Don't you know?" she said "Here." she took out her cell phone and showed the SNS pages to Bong Yi.
She saw that it were the accounts of her bullies.
She scrolled through all the comments and read them. Her eyebrows rose.
She was surprised about how crude some of them were, and they weren't just about her.
"But wait a minute," she said "can everybody see these?!"
The other girl nodded "That's why it is full of reporters now. They heard some of the parents are using their influence to cover up the misdeeds of these girls. They want to figure out how far it goes."
Bong Yi followed her classmates and felt happier than she had in a long while.
This was the longest conversation she had with any of her classmates since years and she feels happy that the people responsible for hurting her we're going to be punished.
she couldn't wait to tell halmoni.
Ba Reum entered his workplace, and of course everyone noticed his black eye immediately. It was hard to miss.
He had tried to cover it with sun glasses, but it was still visible. He decided that it would be less noticeable if he didn't wear the sunglasses.
The eye was swollen, black and painful to the touch. When did Bong Yi ever learn to hit this hard.
"So, did you win?" Park Du Seok asked when he saw his young colleague.
"Huh?" Ba Reum looked up.
"Your eye." He pointed at Ba Reum's face.
"Sure, I won." He said, not feeling like confessing it came from a startled high-school girl. Damn, where did Bong Yi learn to punch like that.
"Yeah right." Park Du Seok snorted.
Meanwhile Moo Chi had just gotten to a new case.
It had been a murder scene. He had just arrived at the murder scene.
He entered the apartment and the smell of rotting corpse hit him. The body had been decomposing for at least 3 days. It was the home of a middle aged women, no husband or children.
She had been cut open and a her organs had been pushed to the side.
The medical team was going to take away the corpse, and he was happy about that. The smell just was difficult to stand.
"Where there any fingerprints?" he asks.
"We haven't found any, nor any footprints." The crime investigation team member said. "Watch out for the blood though, we still haven't removed it for now." Moo Chi looked at the floor and it was absolutely flooded with blood, flies were swarming about.
Moo Chi looked around and collected a few items that seemed to have scattered and searched through her stuff for a photograph of her before she was dead.
"Be sure to bring me the autopsy report as soon as possible." He shouted after the medical time when they had removed the body.
Then he gathered everything up.
He brought it to the police station, towards the investigation team.
Just his luck instead of Park Du Seok it was that grumpy Ba Reum again.
"Nice eye." He said when he gave the box with all the evidence. Ba Reum tried to glare, but it didn't work as well with his swollen face.
"Did you bring it all this time?" he asked, thoroughly checking all contents.
"Yeah, yeah. Just put them in the system as soon as possible, I need the photograph back." Moo Chi said. "and the pictures."
Ba Reum took the photograph out and quickly noted it in the system.
"Here you can have it. Murder case?"
"Seems like it was some crazy guy." Moo Chi answered. "Body cut open of the victim and it looked like he was moving around the organs or something. It was a bloody mess."
Ba Reum looked at the pictures of the murder scene and put them to the side. Looks like he got an outing planned this evening.
Moo Chi was going through the photo's of the murder scene. He sighed and threw them on the desk. He was not getting a feeling from this.
"Something on your mind." A voice said near him. He startled and looked around.
"Hon Ju," He said in lieu of a greeting and tried to pile up the pictures, but Hon Ju still managed to snatch one of the photo's.
"Oh, a new crime scene. Are you going back?" she asked him, "perhaps it would make an interesting case to be on my show."
"Forget it." Moo Chi said and grabbed the picture out of her hands and went away.
"Ooh, come on, don't be a spoilsport." She said to him, following him on his way out.
"I said no. Can't you hear?" he tried to walk away faster.
"Then should I do a piece about drunken gambling detectives?" she said innocently and pulled out a picture.
He pulled her arm down before she could pull it out.
"Fine, you can come, but no episode until I say so."
Moochi swore, he can't believe that he let Hon Ju bribe him to take her with him.
He enters the house with her, but before he can go further he notices that someone is already in.
The flash of a camera goes off. He signals Hon Ju to hide behind. He pulls his gone and goes in further.
"Freeze scumbag." He says and points the gun right in the startled face of Ba Reum.
"What are you doing here." Moo Chi shouts while lowering the gun.
"I was trying to get better pictures of the blood spatter." He said, lifting his camera weakly.
"IC," Moo Chi swore again. Great, now he was here with 2 newbies.
"Fine, whatever, you can stay here and take pictures." He said and waved Hon Ju through.
"This is Hon Ju, this is Jung Ba Reum." He waved them to eachother.
"Nice to meet you." They both muttered to each other.
"Now, let's reconstruct the crime scene." Moo Chi said.
"The body was lying here. You lie down" He said pointing to Ba Reum.
"Me?" Ba Reum pointed at himself and looked at the dirty floor.
Moo Chi gave him a strict look and Ba Reum meekly went to lie on the floor.
"Okay, so we see that she had a rope burn on her throat." He put a rope over Ba Reum's throath, but did not tighten it.
"Then her belly was slit open, from the pubis to the sternum." he pointed his fingers on Ba Reums body to show the incision line.
"The blood spatter about this is weird though." Ba Reum said.
Moo Chi looked at where Ba Reum was lying and the blood spatter.
"Yes, it looked like he moved the organs around." Moo Chi said.
"But there is so much blood that ran out." Hon Ju said, looking at the pictures taken from the crime scene, "almost as if something pushed the blood out.".
"Yes. I noticed that as well. We are waiting for the autopsy result, but I think we have to deal with the possibility of a psychopath." Moo Chi said.
After they examen the crime scene and Ba Reum took more pictures of the splatter, they went to a nearby bar with the three of them.
It felt slightly awkard at first, but they managed to discuss some of the crime facts and later on when they got a bit more drunk, they actually had a good time.
"I like your bracelet." Ba Reum said to Hon Ju "where did you buy it, my mom loves stuff like this." He said slightly slurred.
"It's one a kind." She said
"Your mom likes this kind of stuff?" Moo Chi ask, "make sure to give her lots of nice things to show her how much you love her." Moo Chi was looking sadly at his glass.
"Don't worry, she knows how much I love her."
And after a while, the three of the stumbled home.
