Dong Koo opened one eye to look at his ringing cell phone. He turned out the screen and squinted at the caller's ID.
"Yeah." He answered with a ywanw.
"Dong Koo, it's me, Chi Kook."
"Yeah I saw." Dong Koo said. He scratched his head and got in a sitting position. "Why are you calling?" he asked.
"Say, has Ba Reum ever talked to you about dating?" Chi Kook started carefully.
"Ba Reum, dating? No, he never seemed interested before. Did he finally found someone?" Dong Koo asked, starting to get interested.
In the many years they have known Ba Reum he had never seemed to be interested in a romantic relation.
"Well," Chi Kook said hesitantely, "you know that I was going to get a present for my mom that Ba Reum was holding for me."
"Yes."
"Well, he was already gone to work, but I happened to glance in his bedroom and I saw someone in his bed."
"In his bed!" Dong Koo was fully awakened now, "Did you see who?"
There was a silence on the other side of the line.
"Hey Chi Kook, what's up?" Dong Koo asked.
"Did Ba Reum ever tell you he has a boyfriend." Chi Kook asked.
"What?!" Dong Koo shouted in the phone.
"Yeah, it was this big guy. I took his picture, wait I'll send it over."
Dong Koo received the picture from Chi Kook.
"Wait, I recognize him." Dong Koo said, "just a moment." He opened his laptop and looked something up.
"It's that guy who was on Hong Ju Sherlock, that detective. Ko Moo Chi." Dong Koo said.
"Do you think that Ba Reum would think we'll judge him because he's dating a guy?" Chi Kook asked and Dong Koo could just hear the pout in his voice.
"No, Ba Reum isn't like that. Perhaps it happened all of a sudden?" Dong Koo wondered.
"The guy is in his house…"
"Right, so his mum know about." Chi Kook said.
"You know, we are coming together for a drink soon so I can introduce my fiancée. We'll hear him out then."
"Yeah, sure." Chi Kook said, still sounding worried, but resigned, "you don't think that guys is taking advantage of Ba Reum. He's is senior at work."
"No, Ba Reum isn't the type to be taken advantage off." Dong Koo reassured Chi Kook, "We'll have to see for ourselves soon."
They hung up.
Imagine that, Ba Reum getting in a relationship, Dong Koo thought to himself.
An alarm woke him up and Moo Chi was smacking his lips and felt around for his usual water bottle that would be lying around;
The ground was lower then he rememberd.
He opend his eyes warily and looked around.
He was in a room, a lot neater then his home had ever been.
He saw the breajfast standing on a nighttable and a note with his name on.
He opened it up, feeling a bit weirded out.
What did he do yesterday?
Moo Chi senior,
Last night I found you drunk in a bar and the lady there asked me to take you home.
I didn't know were you lived, so I took you home.
Please lock the door after you leave and return the key to me at work,
Jung Ba Reum
Aah he was in Ba Reum's house.
He put some breakfast in his mouth and looked around while chewing.
"This room creeps me out." He said when he looked at everything sorted in perfect order.
He opened Ba Reums closet and sock drawer and saw everything sorted in order of color and size.
Moo Chi found his shoes and socks and pulled them on and wandered through the house a bit.
He entered the second bedroom.
"Huh, he must still live with his mum." Moo Chi thought. He finished looking around and lft the house to go to work.
He left the house and went to work.
"Ya, Ba Reum" he said when he was at the work.
"Here's your key." He said and handed over the key.
"Ah, thanks." Ba Reum said and pocketed it. He wanted to say something else, but Moo Chi's phone rang.
"Yes detective Sang." Moo Chi answerd
"Huyng, we have to go check out a murder scene." He called him in.
"Another one?" Moo Chi asked, "you already at the place?"
"I'm on my way as well, it has just been called in."
Moo Chi hang up the phone.
"I have to go, there is another murder case." He said to Ba Ruem.
"Can I come as well?" Ba Reum asked, Moo Chi looked at him "to help with the evidence." Ba Reum clarified. Moo Chi looked a bit doubtfull at first, but then he agreed.
When Ba Reum opened the door of the car he did a double take and almost just closed the door instead of getting in.
"Don't mind the junk." Moo Chi said and went in.
Ba Reum swallowed once and then he went in.
Sang was already at the scene interrogating the neigbours when they arrived at the scene.
"What is he doing here?" he asked when he saw Ba Reum coming out of Moo Chi's car.
"He came to help collec the evidence," Moo Chi.
Sang looked Ba Reum up and down.
"See that you don't pollute the scene." Sang said to Ba Reum and went to explain the murder scene to Koo Moo Chi.
Ba Reum followed them from a distance and took pictures.
"So the victim is Hong Eun Jong. She lives alone. According to the neigbours she is currently dating someone. We are tracing his whereabouts." Sang started off.
"She was found by a friend who had her booked in for an hairdresser appointment in her salon. She didn't show up for and she didn't answer her phone. No signs of breaking in and nothing was stolen." He finished off.
"How did she die?" Moo Chi asked, kneeling over the body.
"There are red marks on her nek, she was probably choked to death. Most likely it was the boyfriend." Sang said.
Ba Reum looked around in the apartment and took pictures from the washing line. He looked closely at it, but left it be.
"Okay, for now we'll find out who last seen her alive and await the autopsy result." Moo Chi said., "we'll check out the boyfriend and his whereabouts when she died."
Ba Reum went to the body when the other two detectives weren't kneeling around it anymore.
He took a look at her wrists.
"I think she was tied." He said and pointed at the red marks around her wrists.
Moo Chi looked over Ba Reums shoulder.
A second killing happens and Ba Reum just joins Sang and Moo Chi on the investigation team.
Victim strangeld as well, also female?

Ba Reum keeps an eye on internet forum and sees a kid detective Conan posting about the cats. He decides to investigate and sends a mail to the kid to find out more details.
A couple of days later, Ba Reum, Chi Kook and some other friends of Dong Koo go out to celebrate his soon to be wedding.
Theyh ask Ba Reum to play nice to the other friends.
Ba Reum says he'll try.
They threaten to reveal his first drunken storiy (in which he was so drunk, he actually pissed himself). Being always in controle, he had difficulty in accepting this behavior.
When they see Ba Reum, they are startled by his eye. He is very evasive about how he received it, and somehow they think it's Moo Chi (perhaps Ba Reum mentions about how they fight at the precint the whole time).
They drinking goes on about the same way that it goes about in the series, ending with Ba Reum punching the drunk friend.
