The evening continued without further hitch. Dong Koo's financée inquired about their friend, but they said that he got sick after being drunk and that he went home. They helped the bride-to-be home, and then they left. Everyone was so drunk, so they decided to have a good old fashioned stayover.

They arrived at Ba Reum's house and he put the bedding on the living room floor, three next to each other.

"Did you have fun tonight boys?" Soo Jin asked when she heard the noisy stumble of three drunk men that were preparing for bed.

"Hi mum, I hope you don't mind." Ba Reum asked. Soo Jin yawned, "I don't, just don't be too loud and go sleep in time, you have to work as well tomorrow."

The guys settled, but they kept on talking for a bit.

"Soo Ba Reum, what happened with your eye." Chi Kook tried to ask again.

"Oh, it's not important. Let's just say I was at the wrong place at the wrong time. I should have been a bit more careful, that's all." He said, rather evasive. Dong Koo frowned a bit.

"Soo Dong Koo, looking forward to the married live?" Ba Reum asked, quickly changing the subject.

"Yeah, I really am. She seems like the true one for me." He said happily. "and you guys, no one in sight yet?"

"Not really." Chi Kook answered him, "and you Ba Reum?"

"Me? I'm not interested in having a relationship with a woman right now." He said.

"Boys, I said to keep it down." Soo Jin shouted.

"Let's go to sleep now." Ba Reum said and pulled the blankets higher over himself.

Hong Ju had just visited Moo Chi to interrogate him about the current murders.

She had heard that there had been a second murder that might be connected to the first one, and she wanted to check up on the current cases and perhaps find another case to have on her show.

She saw a envelop lying on his inbox.

"Hey what is this." She asked while trying to take the envelop.

"Haven't you ever heard of personal mail." Moo Chi said while pulling the envelop out of her hands.

"It's just that." Hong Ju said, looking at the writing on the envelope "I recognize the handwriting I think."

Moo Chi sat up straight.

"You recognize this handwriting, from where?" he had been baffled about who sent those letters, perhaps this could be a breakthrough.

"I recognize them from some letters that I received." Hong Ju said, "they were about the Suseong murders and then we received a second one about children being burned with chemical products, you know, where the butcher did it." These were sensitive cases in the police force he knew, the first one the wrong guy got imprisoned and the second one could not go to court due to a handicapped person being a witness. Hong Ju's show had given them a new life and they actually managed to solve them afterwards.

"I would like to see those letters for myself." Moo Chi said. Hong Ju nodded her head, "sure, I'll bring them to you. What's your letter about?"

"I don't know yet." Moo Chi ripped it open and took out the small note.

Kang Duk Soo – who's going to be his next victim now he's free?

"What's it about?"

"It's a case that I was in charge over. You know the pedophilic rape case from 10 years ago." He said.

"Yes, I remember."

"He just got released a few days ago. I warned him not to do anything, but I don't believe he's going to stay peaceful." Moo Chi said frowning.

"Apparently our mystery person doesn't believe it either." Hong Ju took the note. "what are you going to do?"

"I'll try to keep an eye out on the neighbourhood of the victim. Normally Kang Duk Soo has an ankle brace, so his movements are tracked."

The next day Moo Chi went to explore the neighbourhood, keeping an eye out to check for suspicious persons. All seemed well, but suddenly he ran into his own brother.

"Oh, Moo Chi." His brother looked surprised, but happy to see him.

"Don't talk to me." Moo Chi said angry. "how many times do I have to say that I want nothing to do with you.

Father Ko's expression turned sad, but he tried to smile;

"That's nonsense, we're brothers, our parents would have been upset when they saw.." Moo Chi interrupted his brother.

"Don't you dare talk about mom and dad."

"Moo Chi, please." Father Ko begged.

"I tried to understand a million times, but how could you forgive the guy that killed our parents, how? For me, you are worse then him." His brother looked so hurt at this, but Moo Chi grabbed him by the throat in anger.

Dong Koo, Chi Kook and Ba Reum were just passing through the neighbourhood when they came upon the fighting brothers.

"Hey, leave him alone." Dong Koo said and pulled him of father Ko., while Chi Kook inserted himself between the two of them.

"Huyng-nim? What are you doing here." Ba Reum asked.

"I was just passing by when I encountered this thug." He said while snarling at father Ko.

"Hey, this is no reason to assault him." Chi Kook said.

Moo Chi almost broke free from Dong Koo's arms, but Ba Reum grabbed his arms.

"We are late for work." He said and dragged him away.

"Guess I'll see you guys later." He said to Dong Koo and Chi Kook. Better to avoid confrontations.

Dong Koo and Chi Kook unhappily wave Ba Reum away.

"Chi Kook, this is father Ko, from my church group." Dong Koo introduced father Ko to his friend.

"Nice to meet you." "Likewise."

"Why did that guy attack you father?" Dong Ko asked, guiding the man to a nearby bench.

"How, we just have a difference of opinion. It's not bad." Father Ko said.

"You know him then?"

"Yes, he's my brother." Father Ko said with a gentle smile.

"What, and he's so mean to you?"

"We have some…issues, but he's actually a nice personé.

"I hope so. Father Ko, has he mentioned anything about Ba Reum?" Dong Koo asked.

"We don't really talk all that much. Why would he mention Ba Reum?"

"They are dating." Chi Kook said.

"Really?!" Father Ko asked, slightly shocked., his eyebrows going up.

"I'm happy he finally found someone to be with."

"No, he wouldn't do that. Our relationship is complicated,, but he wouldn't really hurt. 'm sure that Ba Reum and him can be happy." He said, friendly.

Dong Koo and Chi Kook didn't look so sure.

"You sure that he wouldn't hurt him? He almost hit you?" Chi Kook asked.

Dong Koo and Chi kook bid farewell to father Ko, bowing.

"Do you still think we can trust that guy with Ba Reum?" Chi Kook asked.

Dong Koo shook his head. "but, I don't think Ba Reum would be okay with us breaking them up. What should we do?" Dong Koo asked.

"I think," Chi Kook looked Dong Koo in the eyes, "We'll have to tell his mother."

"Those were your friends?" Moo Chi asked of Ba Reum.

"Yeah. We had a small celebration yesterday and they stayed over." Ba Reum answered.

"Aah," Moo Chi answered and they walked further.

"Why did you attack father Ko?" Ba Reum asked out of the blue. Moo Chi lifted an eyebrow at Ba Reum while thinking about what he was going to say, but then someone bumped into them.

"Oh, ahjussi." A female voice said from on the ground.

"Bong yi, are you okay?" Ba Reum asked and held out his hand for her to get up.

She looked up at him and ignored the helping hand while getting up herself.

"I'm fine, I was just going to school." She said, dusting herself off. "Who's that?" she asks while pointing her head at Moo Chi.

She actually recognized him, but she didn't want Ba Reum to know that she knew him.

"He's my colleague from work. Detective Ko Moo Chi."

"Nice to meet you" Bong Yi said, bowing to Moo Chi.

Moo Chi bowed his head back towards her.

"Nice to meet you."

"Bong Yi goes to school not far from the police station." Ba Reum explained. "We go the same way. Want to walk with us?" he askes Bong Yi.

Moo Chi was walking next to the two youngsters, seeing there playfully squabbling along the way.

So this must be Ba Reum's sweetheart. He smiled to himself. He wondered if they were already together or not?
