It was already late in the evening when Yo Han managed to go to Ba Reum's place.

He had wanted to finish halmoni's medical rapport today and he had to wait until the secretary finished typing it out before he could validate it.

He had send off a copy to the lawyers office, to make sure that the received his findings the soonest as possible and he made sure to bring a copy of it with him to Ba Reum.

Normally these reports were confidential, but when he told halmoni all about his plans, he had asked her if she minded that Ba Reum took a look as well, just to see if there were any immediate problems.

She had of course agreed to it. She was glad that everyone seemed to want to help her out, and she was also glad that she could be of use to them.

"So how did it go?" Ba Reum asked him after he had given Ba Reum the rapport. Yo Han went to sit in the sofa.

"It went well. I don't think anyone noticed anything weird." Yo Han said, stretching the muscles on his back. They were tense from stress. He wasn't used to these kind of things. Ba Reum nodded.

"And, did you meet your brother?" Ba Reum asked, pretending to be immersed in the rapport.

Even though Ba Reum had decided that he didn't want anything to do with his old family, there was some nagging in the back of his mind that wanted to know how they all turned out.

"yes I did. We talked a bit. He seems like a good person, but the conversation didn't went to deep." Yo Han said, thinking back to the car ride.

"Good." Ba Reum said, finishing reading the medical file. It didn't take long to finish of course. The structure was good and the reasonings were valid. He handed it back to Yo Han.

"We should be able to win our case with this rapport." He said, satisfied that his plan was going to work out.

Thanks to helping halmoni get out of the prison, they had gotten a distraction for his mother. And with the case becoming more and more urgent, Bong Yi would be more and more busy and so would his friends be with supporting Bong Yi.

This would give him the opportunity to work in secrecy more and also to distance his friends from the potential danger that his action could bring.

"So, is there anything else you wanted?" Yo Han asked, hoping that he could go home and get a good night's rest. It had been a very tiring and long day already.

"Well, there was just one thing," Ba Reum said, and Yo Han suppressed a groan, "have you ever heard of doctor Cha Hyun Ok? She is a gynaecologist at the hospital you work at"

Yo Han nodded, frowning a bit at the question Why would Ba Reum want to know that..

"I do know her. She is an expert in her field, one of the best fertility experts in the country. They say that if she can't get you pregnant, no one will." Yo Han said.

Ba Reum nodded.

"Do you know other things about her?"

"There is also a bit of gossip of course, but then, there is always gossip."

"What kind of gossip." Ba Reum asked interested. He leaned a bit forward.

"Well, they say that when she was still in medical school, she had been known to sleep around with married men. And in her senior year she actually became pregnant from one of these guys. The rumour goes that he had to divorce his current wife and marry her to do "the right thing"." Yo Han said. He remembered some of her assistants gossiping about it.

It had of course happened long before he went to medical school, but still, things like this stay in peoples memories.

"Ah, and when did that happen?"

"It should be around 15-isch years ago. She does have a son that age. Why do you ask?" Yo Han asked Ba Reum, curious about the sudden questions.

"Well, I think her husband might be the killer." Ba Reum said casually."

"What?!" shouted Yo Han, "have you called the police yet?"

"No, not yet. I will call the cops, but before we do I just want to ask one small favor."

"Favor, what favor." Yo Han asked, bewildered Ba Reum took out a smartphone.

"You know those guys in black that kept on following us?" Yo Han nodded wearily. "Well, I spotted one of them near the house of dr. Cha and managed to steal his phone. I made a copy of it, so that it will register all activity on the main phone. The only problem is that I can't return it without seeming suspicious."

Yo Han could feel what was coming. If he knew that he would be so stressed out from helping Ba Reum, he wasn't sure that he would have agreed to it in the first place.

"I was hoping that you could return it, perhaps you could do a consult on a patient with the doctor. That way it wouldn't seem suspicious."

"But wouldn't she just want to discuss this in the hospital."

"It's her day off tomorrow. I checked." Ba Reum said. Yo Han looked at Ba Reum. From the moment he knew about the psycho gene, he actually suspected that with Ba Reum it might be true. His feelings and the way he thinks about things didn't seem to be normal. But perhaps it was the genius gene, and it just warped his brain a bit.

At least he seemed to be always prepared and already have the answers before the questions were even asked.

Yo Han thought for a moment.

"I think I know just the patient, I'll see if she'll answer her phone."

Yo Han searched the number in his phone and called Dr. Cha. He felt a bit nervous with Ba Reum listening in. Someone picked up the phone.

"Yes, hello."

"Yes, it's dr. Sung Yo Han from the hospital."

"Dr. Sung, to what do I won the pleasure?"

"I'm sorry to disturb you this late in the evening, but we have a patient who just came in today. She had her belly perforated by a pole in a car accident. She was pregnant and is now very anxious about the baby. We have taken some echo's, but we want to have a gynaecologist opinion about the changes of the foetus surviving."

"Have you tried Dr. Lee, he should be on call."

"I tried, but he didn't have the time to spare."

"Right, he is golfing today, true."

"Yes, and to be honest, you are more of an expert on this field as well." Yo Han hoped that she would be convinced with some flattery.

"Well, I guess I could go look at it, but tomorrow is my day off and the children are home with me."

"Ah, your day off. The patient is really worried about this though. Is it possible that I just drop of the file at your house tomorrow?"

"Well, if it's you Dr. Sung, I won't mind."

"Great, just text me the address, and I'll come by around 9?"

"That would be good."

"Wonderful. Thank you for the effort." He said, finishing the conversation.

Ba Reum who had listened in, slid over the smartphone to him. Yo Han took it and once again wondered what he had signed up for.

The next day Yo Han stood at the porch of Dr. Cha's house. He knocked on the door and she immediately opened it with a big smile. He couldn't believe that it was her husband who was the killer. She would be devastated. Yo Han put his blank face on, better to not betray his inner thoughts.

"These are the files?" she asked, gesturing to the bundle in Yo Han's hands.

"Yes, I'll just hand them over. If you could look them through and just give me your opinion later, that would be great."

"I'll look them over today. You will be in the hospital?"

"Yes, I have to start my shift in an hour, but you can call me once you have seen them through." He said and left the house. She closed the door behind her.

Okay, this had been the easy part, Yo Han thought, now the hard part. He swallowed nervously and then calmed himself down. His heart was till racing, but outwardly he looked calm and collected.

He walked to the car Ba Reum had described the night before. He made sure the license plate was the same.

He pretended to spot something on the ground and then he pretended to pick something up from the ground, letting the phone slide from his sleeve to his hand. He looked at the phone in his hands and then pretended to look to all sides as if searching for someone. When he glanced over the car, he acted as if he just spotted the man in there.

He approached the car and did sign to the driver to lower his window.

"Yes?" the guy asked, on his guard.

"Excuse me, but is this your phone? I've found this on the ground there and no one else is around."

The man first wanted to shake his head now, but then he did a double take of the phone.

"Oh, it mine." He said. Yo Han looked at him a bit doubtfully.

"is it?" he asked. Ba Reum had told him not to immediately give the phone, but to make it seem like he was doubting this guy, as in thinking that he maybe wanted to steal the phone.

"It is. I can proof it." He taped the window and made sure to type in the correct code to unlock the phone.

"Ah, then I guess it indeed must be yours." Yo Han said and handed it over.

"Thank you for finding it."

"You're welcome."

Yo Han walked away toward his car and was glad when he was in it, feeling the sweat seep from his armpits. This had made him quite nervous he had to admit. He drove away.

"Call Ba Reum" he said in his car.

"Calling Ba Reum."

"Yes?" the voice came from the other side.

"He has gotten the cell phone."

"Good, then I guess we can call the cops now."

"Yes, so no more victims will be added to his list."

Ba Reum called the cops on his burner phone to give them the answer that they have been waiting for. He reported the man . They wanted to verify his identity, but that was the reason why Ba Reum was calling on a burner phone.

"I'm sorry, I think it's safer if no one knows my name. We are talking about a murderer." He answered and was about to hang up his phone.

"But can't you tell us where you are?" they said again. This was sending of warning signs in his head.

"I'm at the phone booth in the adjacent street." He said, "I saw them leave this night. Please, no more victims should fall." He said and hung up the phone.

The conversation felt off and it left a weird taste in his mouth.

He quickly changed into sports clothes and went to go to the nearby park, where he had full view of the phone booth and could also see all the incoming police cars for the doctor's house.

He had just arrived at the park, in full jogging gear he started to stretch and 2 minutes later several black cars arrived at the booth he had claimed to be using. He saw that they all were carrying fire arms.

He pretended not to notice anything out of the ordinary and started to run laps around the park, passing some people who were walking with dogs and some who were doing their own daily exercise. Good, this way he became one face among many.

He ran a couple of laps, but he never heard the sound of sirens. When he went back home he immediately turned on the television to check the news, but they didn't mention anything about catching a suspect.

He looked on the internet, and nothing was mentioned on it either.

Nothing.

They had come to eliminate the tipster, but no one had come for the murderer.

Shit, they had a problem.
