chapter 6: I'm going to freaking Atlantis

Percy pov:

After we got back to the hall of justice cyborg had a small glitch witch Leo fixed for him and that changed the plan instead of Leo staying in the hall he went with cyborg to star labs.

I gave Annabeth a long hug, I didn't want to leave her again but I couldn't take her to Atlantis with me and she was needed in the hall to stay with batman and frank in order to strategize.

I gave her a long kiss on the lips eventually pulling away from her and saying "I love you and I'm going to miss you very much." she looked at me and say "me too, I can't believe that we have to split again, it's so unfair." I gave her another kiss and left to the zeta tube Aquaman was standing in.

after we went through the zeta tube and were in what I could only assume was Atlantis, Aquaman turned to me and said "my lord-" I stopped him their and said "please it's just Percy I'd prefer not to raise awareness of who I am when we are in Atlantis if I can help it." "of course my lor- umm Percy, what I was about to say was that when we are down there you might want to wear Atlantean clothing to help you blend in." oh that's might actually be useful. I thought to myself.

before I could answer though I was engulfed by bubbles and before i knew it I was covered in something that looked like an Atlantean Armor that was blueish green, I looked at Aquaman wide eyed and asked him "how in the hades did you do that?" his eyes were even wider then mine as he said "i didn't, what's that?" he asked pointing to my side, i looked at it and saw a not hanging from my elbow.

I took the note and it said in ancient Greek "just a small thing to help you when you're down there."

I smiled, it was this world's version of my dad although he looked nothing like him ,he looked like how they describe him in mythology but I saw that he had the same good in his eyes as my version of him.

I looked at Aquaman and said "it's from my dad I guess he had the same idea as you." he looked at me and smile and then he said "well I guess if I get to call you by real name then please call me Arthur." then I remembered he was supposed to be the king of Atlantis or something witch means I outrank a king , that was pretty cool.

I looked at him as we left the room and saw the view of Atlantis and said "cool , so I have to admit I would love it if you gave me a tour of Atlantis." he raised a brow "to compare between the one here and on your earth?"

i rubbed the back of my neck saying "actually on my earth Atlantis is nothing but a myth and believe me, I would know." he looked a bit shocked but then said "I would be my honour." we went through the city and in the and we got in the palace and there was a red head lady wearing a green outfit and a blond toddler holding her hand.

as soon as they saw us the toddler immediately dropped her hand and swam to Arthur shouting "daddy!" Arthur laughed as he cached the boy and hugged him.

the red head lady also swam towards us and said "husband I thought when you came to Atlantis that you would come straight back here." she kissed him and he said "well I brought a visitor with me who never saw Atlantis and I had to give him a tour." her eyes widen "you? the king of Atlantis gives a tour of the city?" she asked in disbelief.

he looked at me and I sighed and said "ok you can tell them but no one else." he smiled turned to his wife and said "Mera allow me to introduce you to Perseus Jackson."

she gave a small nod of her head and then Arthur completed "son of Poseidon." that nod quickly turned into a bow as she got down on one knee and she said "it's an honour to have you here my lord if I would have known sooner i would have-" I stop her by raising my hand and saying "it's an honour to be here but no formality is necessary, I'd just prefer if you called me Percy and please don't tell anyone outside of this room who i really am and i mean no one, they all would know when the time is right but right now treat me like any other house guest."

she got up and smiled at me and said "of course Percy if that is what you wish." the toddler looked at me with big curios eyes and I couldn't help but smile when i asked "and who is this little guy?" he was cute to say the least.

Arthur smiled and said "this guy here is prince Arthur jr." I came close and I did the peekaboo which made the little prince laugh and reach his hands out for me to grab him.

I looked at Arthur and Mera and they were as shocked as I was but eventually Arthur nodded in approval, I took Arthur jr and he had a big smile on his face I couldn't resist and I tossed him in the air or rather water.

now I know what you're probably thinking, how is it possible to toss a kid up and down in the water? well I manipulated the water around us so that it would be as if there was no water resistance but there still water.

after the kid was verry happy I gave him back to his parents and Mera said "wow usually he doesn't take well to strangers." I smiled sheepishly as i rubbed the back of my neck saying "well i have my way with kids." suddenly my stomach decided to let everybody know that it was empty.

my face turned red and Arthur laughed saying "come on I believe we were about to serve dinner anyway." I followed the king and queen to the dining hall wear they served a giant crab and lobster and other kinds of sea animal for dinner, the scent made me droll so much I almost lost my manners when the eating began.

after dinner when the servants left the room Arthur and I explained to Mera as to why I came to Atlantis in the first place, to witch Mera said "ok but I think it would be wiser to let your presence known."

I sighed and said "that might be easier but let's think about it, if I show up a complete stranger who just so happens to be the son of Poseidon, and judging by the looks of thing your husband haven't been king for long only 4 years at best and I didn't want to take charge if it's unnecessary, because what would that say about your king in the long run? so it might be easier but not wiser and besides I could never run a kingdom i have no experience doing that at all, I'd prefer to leave it to the king himself."

Mera was quiet for a second before saying "I haven't thought about like that, you are wiser then you look Percy." I was about to say something when we heard a noise from the other side of the door shouting "what do you mean I can't com in to meet my brother?! do you not know who I am?! I am prince Orm now let me in or I'll have your heads!" the door burst open revealing an Atlantean in a purple Armor and silver mask swimming inside of the dining room saying "well brother aren't you going to introduce me to our guest?"
