Chapter 8: it's bonding time with my big sister

Jason pov

I was getting in Diana's apartment in Washington dc, it was a one bedroom apartment with one shower/toilet and a balcony with a great view to the Lincoln memorial. "this is a nice place you've got here Diana" i said trying to be a polite house guest, Diana smiles at me and said "why thank you Jason that is verry kind of you to say" she pause for a second looking around and says "I think you can sleep on the couch, I'll get you the bed sheets and you'll just make the couch for tonight okay?" I nod and she goes to her room and get the sheets while I look around the apartment and take every detale in mind until my gaze rest on a picture in the kitchen of Diana with a blonde guy who seems like a soldier and they seem happy, I think I know who he is.

she comes back with the sheets in her hands asking "anything interesting?" I point at the picture and ask "is that your boyfriend?" she smiles at me and answer "yes it is" I ask again "by any chance his name wouldn't happened to be Steve Trevor would it?" she is shocked for a moment then she laughs and says "yes it is, i forgot that where you guys come from we are nothing but comic book characters but still I'm impressed that you figured who he was just by looking at the picture."

I blush for a moment and scratch the back of my head before saying "it's nothing really, my hyper awareness helped me out so I had an unfair advantage." she looked at me crossed her arms and said "you have nothing to be ashamed of, this is who you are and you're impressive by your own right as well don't downgrade yourself for my sake." she then gave me a quick hug and said "while you're here I want to get to know you better, after all what kind of a big sister would I be if I didn't at least try to?"

at that point I was crying, we've bean through a lot in the past two days and I just needed a big sister at that moment to be their for me but Thalia went with this earth's Artemis so I couldn't have her to talk to but Diana was something else, even though we are literally from different worlds and just met she is still consider me her little brother and she's very supportive of me, she comes to me and I whipe my tears off and I give her a big hug and I say to her "thank you Diana you have no idea how badly I needed to hear that" she hugged me titter and said "your very welcome Jason, after all what are family for?"

I started to pull away from the hug, I smile to Diana and just nod and she said "good you must be tired so I'll leave you to it but if you need anything I'm in the next room so don't hesitate to call okay?" I nod and after we both took separate showers we both went to sleep, because I didn't have a fresh change of clothes with me I strip down to my boxer underwear and get on the couch.

time skip next morning

I wake up to the sounds and smells of something being cooked and before I can say anything I see Diana in the kitchen cooking some bacon and eggs for two, when Diana turns and see that I woke up she says "good morning Jason did you sleep well?" I nod my head but suddenly I'm getting self aware of the fact that I'm with wonder woman's apartment wearing nothing but a pare of boxer, my face turns red and Diana just laughs "don't worry Jason I'll just turn around while you get dressed" I look down and say "thank you" and after she turns back to the bacon and eggs I quickly change back to my pants and purple shirt.

after Diana gave me a spare tooth brush i brush my teeth and wash my face I go to the dining table, Diana comes carrying the plates to the table, she puts mine Infront of me and I cut half of it take it to the stove turn it on and Sacrifice it to the gods, after I get back to the table Diana just smiles and does the same as I do, after she gets back to the table we start eating our breakfast and I got to admit the bacon and eggs aren't half bad.

Diana and I start talking and tell each other more of our life stories even though I know most of hers it's still nice to talk to her and she can understand my story as well, after I told her about piper and I she told me "oh by the way I hope you don't mind but I told Steve yesterday a little about you and he's coming over in an hour is that ok with you?" I think about it for a second and I try to put myself in her shoes and I think if the rules were reversed I would have done the same thing "sure it's ok I completely understand" she smiles and says "great now finish your breakfast and help me clean up in here once your done ok?" I nod and finish eating.

after we are done with cleaning I hear a knock on the door "I got it" I hear Diana say and she goes to open the door, then I hear her say "you're half hour early" I turn to see her hug and kiss the man Infront of her "Jason I would like you to meet-" "Steve Trevor!" I cut her off with excitement, to tell the truth he is one of my favourite characters in comics, the guy laughs and says "well angel it looks like I don't need introduction after all and I'm guessing you're Jason Diana's little brother?" I nod and reach my hand for him to shake "Jason grace" he takes my hand and shake it and his eyes widen when he shook it saying "you didn't told me he was a soldier"
