Chapter 9: I go somewhere really special

Jason pov

i stood there in front of Steve Trever while Diana asked her boyfriend "how did you know he was a soldier?" Steve just looked at me and said "well just the way he carries himself, you can tell he had served in an army but my only question for you is what army and in what rank?"

i had tighten my poster and said "twelve legion's praetor at your service." that caused him to understandably be shocked, he shook his head and said "that's impossible, the twelve legion was dispended after it's defeat by the Judean rebels."

I looked at him and shook my head saying "maybe in this universe but in my earth after that unfortunate event the legion retreated to a secure location where it was a home for roman demigods like me and their families to reside in." and to Emphasizei showed him my SPQR tattoo on my left forearm.

now Steve's expression was a mix of confusion and shock, he looked at Diana and said "I think I need to sit down." so we all sat around the dining table as I told him my story and the story of how I met the Greek camp of demigods, when I finished he rubbed his Temples and said "if I haven't been through some weird adventures with Diana here I don't think I would have believed half of the things you said, but I do believe you."

Diana had put her hand on his shoulder and he quickly had put his hand on hers, after that Diana made him some coffee for him to come his nerves with.

after he calmed himself down he said to Diana "is it ok with you if I'll take him to that place we used to spar?" she nodded and said "let me get ready and I'll come with you with you guys." after she kissed him on the cheek she went into her room to change.

i have sat there with Steve and said "you should know that I don't exactly have any other clothes other then the ones I'm wearing right now to spar with.." he nodded and said "we will make a stop on our way there."

the door to Diana's room opened and we saw her standing there wearing gym clothes and she had a gym bag next to her and she said "well... are we good to go boys?" Steve stood up and said "sure we just going to have to make to stops on our way there." he looked at me and winked.

after we got in Steve's car and started to drive I looked at him from the back seat and asked "is it true that you know rick flag from task force x?" he stopped the car right there and then and looked at Diana and then me "how do you know all of this? I mean earlier when you knew my name and now this?" I saw him started to reach for his gun.

Luckily for me Diana stepped in and said "in Jason's universe we are nothing but comic books Characters so he and his friends know quite a lot about us, but don't worry they don't seem to use that information for bad intention."

Steve seem to relax a bit but said to me "never the less you should keep every secret information you have for yourself, you can never know who is listening."

he was right I mean I've read enough comic books to know that there probably bugged his car or something.

after I was done kicking myself for that I saw that we stopped at Walmart, I looked at Steve and Diana and Steve said "well you did say you had nothing to wear so I thought why not get you a bunch of stuff you might need while you're here." I couldn't believe what I heard I looked at them both and said "oh my gods ! thank you! thank you! thank you!" I felt like a little kid witch to be honest I haven't felt in a long time.

Diana laughed and looked at me and said "your welcome Jason, now come on let's go." after we got out of the car Steve went to park it while Diana and I went inside, after we went inside the first place we went to was the sport section to get me the clothes I needed to work out in including some running shorts ,workout shoes, and a gym bag after that we went to the day to day clothing section where we got some regular clothes for the day to day stuff.

when Steve got in and he saw what we got he added some clothes that he thought would suit me better in his opinion and even a small mp3 player with headphones, so we got to the Cash register and Diana insisted to pay for at least half of it and Steve paid for the other stuff, after the cashier made the comment that Diana and Steve were my parents and we corrected her that I'm just her little brother we went out and back to the car and drove off.

after 10 minutes of driving we stopped yet again only this time next to an apartment building, Diana looked at Steve and he said "well I do need to get ready myself, don't worry it will take me 10 minutes." and with that he left the car.

after 10 minutes on the clock we saw him exiting the building and coming towards us with a gym bag hanging on his shoulder, after he had put his bag in the trunk he came back to the car and we drove off.

after maybe another 10 minutes we got in a location that in first glanced looked to be a bit run down, the car stood in front of a gate and I looked at them and asked "is this it?" they both just smiled and Diana said "just wait it gets a whole lot better." a guard came and when he saw Diana and Steve he just gave a small nod and pressed a Butten.

the gate seemed to open and we drove inside, after we got inside and the gate hade closed behind us lights started to turn on and in front of us was a tunnel that looked way to high teched for this place.

I looked at them with shock and Steve said "well kid welcome to the D.E.O" my eyes were wide open as we got more and more into the building and Steve said "this is where we monitor extra normal activity on earth and determent if it is a threat or not, but today for us you can look at this place as the super version of an A.F.C gym now lets get ready kid."
