Chapter 10 – Questions rising

Starblossom listened to Quintessa's words; and when she looked at Quintessa she was getting a very uneasy feeling and didn't understand why. Star hung in back of Optimus; and listened to what was being said.

"My maker on Earth there is an Autobot by the name of Stripes. Starblossom believes he has changed, and could be a problem." Optimus replied as Quintessa floated closer toward Optimus.

"Yes, I know of him. He was once human; but his life was granted for a different reason." Quintessa replied as Star narrowed her optics for a moment.

Star realized Quintessa knew Stripes was Primus' son; but Star couldn't understand a lot of things. Mostly because of things Optimus had told her; and something she was shown when she held the Matrix of leadership.

She never told anyone what she was shown; and now she wished she had told Optimus.

The Matrix had shown her the Allspark creating life; but it also showed a being that she felt was Primus creating the cube. So, in essence Primus was still the creator of the race of Transformers; and if that was the case Quintessa was a fraud. But that still didn't answer the questions within her mind who was Quintessa and what was her motivation for doing this; and making Optimus believe she created him.

Well, she was about to find out… Star listened to the part about Unicron being Earth; and Star quickly thought about something that she was horrified to realize. Quintessa wasn't actually talking about killing Unicron; she was talking about awaking him! She quickly walked up to Optimus; and figured she'd be able to distract him to get him to follow her.

"Optimus…..." she said weakly as Quintessa glanced over at her.

"Star, you are not well?" he quickly said as Quintessa floated toward Star.

"What is wrong, dear?" Quintessa asked.

"I-I suddenly felt terribly nauseous…... Not sure if it's from being sparked or not." She said as Quintessa turned toward Optimus.

"Optimus take care of your mate; we can talk later." Quintessa remarked.

"Thank you, my maker. Come on, Star." Optimus replied as he took a hold of her and led her away. Quintessa watched them as she motioned toward Infernocus then.

"Watch them." Was all she said. Infernocus nodded; and followed them silently.

Star slid her hand into Optimus' as they sat down; and Optimus could see she was troubled about something.

"What's wrong?" he asked her as she looked into his optics; while gently caressing his face making a that sound erupt from him that she loved so much.

"Optimus something isn't right I don't know how to explain this to you." She stated.

"Just tell me," came his reply.

"Alright." Star replied with a sigh. "I see something within Quintessa that is evil. Listen to me just hear me out. She claims to be your creator; but Optimus you yourself told me the Allspark created your race." Star replied.

Silence... "That's not all when Sam needed to revive you when Megatron killed you I held the Matrix of leadership and I received some sort of vision. Optimus, I never told you because I was scared I didn't understand why I saw what I did; but it showed Primus being the creator of the Allspark which means he was the creator of the Transformers not Quintessa. This Staff she is talking about won't kill Unicron Optimus it will awaken him; and make Earth crumble away and release him."

Star replied as Optimus frowned. "W-Why would you say such things about…..." Optimus started to say until Star gripped his hands.

"Optimus, open your chest plates." She pleaded as he couldn't say no to her. He never could…... He opened his chest plates and she followed suit.

"Let your spark reach for mine; and let it reach for our growing child." She whispered as Optimus obeyed. Optimus' optics offlined for a moment as he felt her love; and felt their sparkling growing and its spark. They created life together. It was a blessing from Primus. Optimus' optics changed back to blue alerting Infernocus as he growled; and went back to Quintessa with this new develop concerning Starblossom and her influence over Optimus.
