Trunks left the group alone for a moment and went inside Gohan's house to make a call to anyone who's a friend of Goku.
he didn't want to see anyone at the moment because he can't keep his emotions at bay so maybe letting all of them know through a call might keep his composure.
Trunks was thinking about calling his wife first, she had always been his rock, but Bura will be leaving town tomorrow for a business trip.
Trunks breathed out reached his hand towards the horn.
"Hello?" A tired voice answered him.
"I'm trying to take a nap!"
" Hey " Trunks a bit saddened when his little sister picked up.
"Trunks?" Hey what's wrong ? Bura said.
There was a pause on Trunkses end and Bura could hear him breathe out.
"Trunks?" Bura said feeling her stomach in a knot.
"Goku-san passed away" Trunks said starting to sob.
"Are you kidding?" Bura shrieked and stumbled out of bed.
"Please tell me you are lying!" Bura said, she couldn't believe it, it has to be a joke.
"How did that happen?" Bura
"I don't know" Trunks said with a small voice.
"I don't.." Trunks repeated with a smaller voice and the tears kept coming.
"Where are you now?" Bura asked.
"Mount Paozu, We'll burry him tomorrow" Trunks said keeping his voice steady.
"Hold on, I'm coming" she said and hangs up.
When she took a flight into the air she rubbed a tear away, the news shocked her system.
Trunks buried his face in his hands, and wiped his face dry, his frame trembled.. and tried again.
His wife is in outer space, exploring the planet as she was called for a time patrol mission.
And won't be back until next week, so Trunks left a message to the space ship she's on. Trunks hopes she's okay, She asked if he wanted to come with her but without the SSB transformation he can't fight nor walk properly and the last thing he needs is making her vulnerable while stopping galactic crooks.

The remaining Z gang remained close to the freezing pod, they kept it closed. Goten looked at Goku's frozen face, there was frost all over him but still he looks like he's sleeping and could wake up anytime now.
The freeze pod was opened and Gohan carried his father placing him into a stone coffin, one last time everyone looked at his frame saying their final goodbye.
Trunks held onto Goku's hand,
"So long old friend" "I'll meet you soon" Trunks said and let go.
Gohan stepped back when everyone closed the coffin, He broke into tears again wishing he could cling onto it and just be buried with his father. No longer has a reason to be happy but he had to let go. All of them had to go one day, why did the Gods invented death? Why couldn't they just live forever?
Goku's great grand children arrived later, they all heard the horrid new when they were at school.
And Vegeta was there as well but kept his distance, he remained at Goku's grave ever since he has been buried.
He didn't want to interact or be comforted by anyone, just pay his respect.
The coffin lowered to the ground, and sand was thrown on it until it was buried.
And then Vegeta left them behind, it was a sad day even for him and thought about one of the greatest moments he and his rival shared.
When they were battling Zeno, he seemed undefeated,
That one moment he shared with his Rival was where he decided to leave this petty rivalry behind.
When Xeno turned into the devoured of worlds Goku was charging for a spirit bomb, he used the energy of the stars and planets nearby who had a little bit of life in them left.
Ignoring Goku's wishes to flee with the others to a different timeline Erasa came flying towards the battle field. Gohan had his arms stretched out to give his father the last energy he had left.
Gohan felt her energy as she landed next to him, Gohan sunk to his knees but Erasa caught him.
"No, Erasa get out of here" Gohan ordered.
"I'm not leaving you behind" Erasa said and held out her hands to let Goku have her energy.
"Erasa stop this, I don't want you to die" Gohan pleaded.
"I do not fear death, I fear seeing you perish while sitting there and do nothing" Erasa said.
"I ain't going anywhere" Erasa mentioned and squeezed her eyes shut when tapping of her energy becomes painful.
Vegeta witnessed that, and her determination reminded him of his own wife and even let Goku tap into his life's energy, he wanted to sacrifice himself to save her, it's freedom or death.
and when she had her arm out towards the sky a blue ki spark appeared from her stomach. She regained her strength somehow.
It was a strong ki, and Goku sensed it coming from her, he smiled and had another reason to beat Xeno once and for all.
The largest spirit bomb ever has been made, Goku was ready to fire it towards Xeno,
"Everyone hold on to me!" Goku ordered and everyone got teleported to kais planet with Goku's last remaining life force.
Vegeta was the first one to wake up

"Vegeta we always used to bud heads a lot" Goku said.
"It's okay, it was mostly my fault" Vegeta said interrupting,
"No, let me finish" Goku said.

"Only two minutes left" Gogeta said dreadful, they don't have enough time to wait for another half hour, Xeno reached full power.
"But maybe only one minute is needed to defeat you" Gogeta said and let his blue aura roar over the doomed universe.
"40 seconds left " Gogeta said as he fired his strongest Kamehameha. Xeno was pushed back into the crater of the Earth.
An explosion occurred when the smoke cleared up it became quiet for a moment but then Xeno emerged stronger that a moment ago.
The large frame of Xeno towered over Gogeta.
"Damn it!" Gogeta said trying to charge up one last time, but then Xeno started to glow.
"What?" Gogeta said shocked and seconds later Goku and Vegeta parted.
Both of them stared shocked at what's being displayed in front of them.
Their plan worked, the Super dragon balls have been gathered just in time to seal Xeno for the next 100 years.
It was finally over, but their victory had a price. Because it took so much power to make that wish the Super dragon balls has lost its power and every other Dragonball that has ever existed has turned into stone, Earth can never rely on the dragon balls ever again.
After their victory the supreme kais came to thank them for stalling Xeno just in time, without their help they wouldn't have the chance to steal the Super dragonballs. They mentioned that they might be deleted from this universe soon for sealing Xeno. But at least this universe will not return to the dark void of nothingness.
To express their gratitude the kais will grand them one last wish before they go into hiding.
Goten wished for a wedding ring.
Vegeta wanted his wife back to life as his own wish, he kept strong for her.
Trunks wished to have the knowledge to become the best president of Capsule corps he can be. His mother has been pressuring him to take over but always feared that he'll fail.
Erasa's wish was to become a Saiyan so that she will age as gracefully as her husband to keep up with him, but also to understand Gohan better.
That wish couldn't be granted because you can't change biology, so her wish was to remain at peak human condition forever so that she'll never have to stop doing the things she loves.
Having grey hair one day is no issue to her because Gohan loves her no matter what but having your body decay and be dependent on others is what she can't live with.
Goku wished that he'll have a successor in generations after generations that his home world remains protected when he's gone.
Gohan wished to have his super saiyan spirit form at the peak of its ability forever and enjoy the peaceful years on Earth while it lasts.
"That was the moment where we truly set our differences aside" Vegeta said.
"Kakarot.." Vegeta said saddened. He'll never experience such rivalry ever again.
"The sun got into my eye" Vegeta said wiping a small tear that rolled down.
"You prick" Vegeta said focusing his attention to the horizon.
Hopefully we can have another match.. if you meet in hell that is" Vegeta said still not believing a word.
"If not.. then goodbye old friend" Vegeta mentioned, he felt in his bones that he'll go to hell. So far he never had a redemption for all the pain he caused as a space pirate.
But until then he wants to be there for his descendants without going out of his way too much. After all there is still some pride left.

To cope with Goku's death as almost a year has passed the remaining Z gang tried to remain as active as possible,
Despite dealing with a great loss Goku wouldn't wanted them to mourn,
Gohan published his first book, and it was a groundbreaking success, The copies were sold in a book shop build in the dojo.
All 3 of them remained in the Dojo like a second home base.
Trunks and Goten became fulltime sword masters, and just remained busy so that they don't have the time to grieve, hopefully their hearts will heal and maybe one day they can remember Goku with a smile instead of feeling devastated.
Vegeta moved in with Trunks in a spacious capsule house trying to improve their relationship.
He kept training with Kakarot in his thoughts, if they ever meet again in the afterlife they'll have a better rematch stronger than ever.
Goten moved in the same forest as Gohan living a few blocks away from Trunkses new home,
Trunks remains president of Capsule Corp But until his eldest great grandson has finished university.
He didn't feel like retiring but since Goku has passed away so quick that they never had a chance to give him a proper goodbye made him rethink about his life.
If he has a few years left he wants to live in tranquility.
Gohan is the closest thing he had to his Father and looks so much like him in his own way and felt happy to be living together in one residence again as they wake up at the creek of dawn.
Life seems to be going back to normal except for Gohan, at times he skips training with the others seeking solitude to think about his Father.
He still misses him and his heart ace for him to come back.

At the creek of dawn Vegeta ran into Trunks who was having a stroll around, after preparing lunch boxed for his grand children, they'll be having a big match and must be very hungry when when they are done.
Trunks gave an acknowledging glance as Vegeta came closer to where he was sitting.
"Father where did you go to?" Trunks greeted.
"Gravity training as usual" Vegeta said shrugging.
Trunks could tell he's missing a rival, ever since Goku passed away Vegeta has been very quiet.
"Hey I miss him too" Trunks said sympathetic.
Vegeta glared at him, "No don't miss that idiot, but I do miss being pushed to surpass my limits"
"I just lost every will to fight" Vegeta admitted.
"Same, " Trunks said, "But we need to keep this planet safe for our Grand children.. it's the only thing I want to live for"
"Besides" Trunks said wanting to change the subject.
"I don't mind doing gravity training with you when you are rested" Trunks mentioned.
"I told my grand children I'll go see her having her first basket ball match" Vegeta said annoyed, I'm really not in the mood, but I already told them yes"
"Shall I go for you then?" I don't have anything to do for now" Trunks offered.
"I was going to meet up after the tournament anyway"
"Okay, see you later then" Vegeta mentioned.
And left Trunks alone.
Trunks just shrugged and went to fetch this stuff.
Above the air a baseball match was seen and could sense the Ki of his grand children.
He landed and the ones who were sitting on the side noticed Trunks.
"Ojii-san!" They all screamed. They were happy to see him and came to his side.
They didn't want to wait until the match is over and wanted to eat their lunch boxes.
"Where is much older Oiji-san?" One asked.
"He couldn't come, he doesn't feel very well" Trunks said,
"Don't worry he only got the flu" Trunks said When concern creeped over their faces.
"All right go" Trunks said to them.
"Make grandpa proud" Trunks said as they ran up the field.
"Yes, Ojii-san !" they all said in high spirits.
He watched them play, and after a goal he cheered for them, it was wonderful to still be alive to see them grow and how well technology has developed,
And Trunks realised that he might have been too judgemental of his father, yes back in the day he was never there for him, no matter how many times we saved the Earth but after they saved the world from Zeno he mellowed out, not caring much about being Stronger than Goku, and trained for himself.
He became a likeable person but I was only seeing the prick he once was, Trunks realises now that he should give Vegeta a fair chance since time is short for them all.
Then Trunks noticed someone sitting next to him, and he grinned happy at Vegeta.
"Hey old man" Trunks greeted and when there was a short break his grand daughter noticed him.
"Oiji-san!" She shrieked and ran towards him, Vegeta bends down and hoists her up.
She was so happy he's okay and the rest of them joined. It was blissful for Vegeta too. Seeing the Saiyan race still surviving,
Sure the saiyans of universe 6 are here too and they found their human mates but having the original Saiyan race live on in his descendants felt like finding a rare treasure..
