A short while has passed since Gohan seeked solitude in the forest, he doesn't want to stay away from everyone too long, he knows the others are dealing with their own loss but in order to be there for them he needs to be grounded. He doesn't want to grief alone.. but he has to otherwise he'll never get over it.

After spending time alone Gohan went back to his home, he sparked the Super saiyan spirit transformation a little so that he can walk home with a straighter back as he used his walking stick, he couldn't afford to lose his fathers favourite Gi.

While spending time alone, he was also thinking about a way to remain a super saiyan spirit forever without using the HBTCH, if he loses the transformation due to exhaustion he could die in there, maybe a machine that increases the maximum of gravity training might force his body to adapt..

The walk towards his home made him a little tired and decided to take a short nap.

Gohan" Goten called out knocking on the door,

Gohan was laying with his face buried against the pillow, after gravity training he just want to be left alone but the knocks didn't cease.

Gohan turned around looking at the door and got up.

"I'm coming" Gohan said when he heard another knock.

Gohan sensed Goten's energy and was glad that it's not someone else disturbing is afternoon nap.

Gohan seemed in a beter mood since he gave Goten a warm glance.

He wanted to have a chat with Gohan mainly to try and be there in depressing times like these.

"Hey, want to join? I'm heading to the lake to fish" Goten said.

Gohan really didn't feel like doing anything besides gravity training, but didn't want to seem cold.

"Sorry, I won't be joining you today" Gohan said.

"But".. Goten said.

"Goten try to understand.. " Gohan interrupted

"fathers death still hurts"

"I just wished.. he was here" Gohan said as tears build up.

"I don't even know where he went" Gohan said drying his with his palm.

"Well.. maybe he is with the Gods, we all have the God Ki.. his ki too.. so where he went after death we might go there as well" Goten said.

"And if not, we still have a part of him with us" Goten said.

"Our dad's last word were, Whenever you use my power.. I'll always be near" Goten said.

"And I firmly believe Dad is With us still " Goten smiled.

Gohan listens and knows Goten is right, his Ki is still in their Chakra,

"You're right Goten, I'll go visit dads grave and I'll catch up with you later" Gohan said smiling.

"That's the spirit" Goten said standing up.

"And never stop living your life to the fullest, mourning will only waste the days you have left on this world" Goten said.

"Dad wants you to be happy, that's his wish for all of us" Goten mentioned.

"Thank you, and I'll stop sulking" Gohan said.

"Yeah life is way too short for that" Goten added.

"It sure is" Gohan mused making his way to his father.

Gohan arrived at his fathers grave, he tried to channel the ki power he received from his father but he couldn't do it in his Super saiyan spirit form. He then let the super saiyan spirit aura fade a little, he felt his body ace again but seconds later he summoned the super saiyan blue aura, It started to spread, his heart Chakra was burning, it felt warm inside his chest like You've place alcohol on a wound but it felt amazing.

He felt love surge through his Chakra and then he felt it, his fathers ki.. Gohan day dreamed about being his fathers embrace but one day it will happen.

Gohan thought about an idea, he wants to recharge the time machine and meet his father again. He doesn't know long he'll stay there or maybe decides to never leave again.

At least after they met he can be at peace with his own death one day.

Gohan sat on a rock letting the ssjb aura fade, his body felt so immobile as the decaying sensation of old age returned. But thankfully his mind is still sharp, shakily he placed his hands on his knees and looked at his fathers grave.

"Father was always so kind, always standing tall towards villains who are way stronger than he was" Gohan thought.

When his father arrived at the battle field you know everything is going to be all right. And always wanted to give his own daughter the same feeling. Gohan's father always showed him that being weak Is a choice you never have to settle for.. anyone can become great, you just need to take the though road.

Gohan breathed out saddened as he walked towards his daughters grave, a snowflake fell on the statue of her memorial. Those who say that time heals everything didn't lose an amazing warrior like her as a daughter, she was all brains and brawn like her father. Erasa always believed in her and felt that he should do the same as well, believing in your children is the greatest gift you can ever give them, better than love or anything you could think of.

Gohan thought back about that day where he decided to retire as the leader of The Earth's defenders and let her take over.

When they got home from their first time patroller mission together Gohan wanted to have a word with her alone,

Gine thought Gohan might tell her that she's no longer allowed to be a time patroller but what Gohan told her came as a surprise.

" Gine I want you to become my successor" Gohan mentioned as they were standing outside while the rest of the Z gang were feasting and celebrating their victory defeating another time breaker.

"But Dad I cant do it without you" Gine said alarmed.

"I'm not going anywhere, I'll be there to guide you until my days are done" Gohan said comforting.

"I believe in you like my own father believes in me" Gohan said.

"Your mother believes in you too.. And I just need to do this for her" Gohan mentioned and Gine swallowed a steel lump.

"Besides believing in your children and their ability to be great is the best gift a father can give to them" Gohan said.

"Don't you think?" Gohan smiled.

Gine's eyes watered a little, "Yes Dad, just promise you won't go anywhere soon"

"I promise" Gohan mentioned and held his daughter around the shoulder.

"Gine Dad thinks about you everyday,

" Your mother taught me to believe in you, It was the best lesson I've ever learned, You've grown so much" I never would have thought that I would outlive you too.. but at least you are free.

" I wish I could join you in the afterlife but I'm still needed here. "

"In the meantime I'll Just love you a lot" Gohan said paying his respect to her.

"I have to get going now, I can't keep Goten waiting for too long.. I love you so much Gine I'll be with you one day, and we'll never have to say goodbye to each other again" Gohan said.

Gohan undid his obi belt with some effort, his hands couldn't function well,

But managed letting his Gi fall off his shoulders to save at least one piece of his clothing since the shirt underneath he can't slip out of without assistance now that he turned back into an ancient old man.

He didn't have his walking stick with him so he fell on the grass, the tiny birds flew away when Gohan's ki started to rise making the ground tremble.

he concentrated and a white aura came over him regaining his youth and he stood up again. The shirt he wore combusts into nothing due to the aura.

Gohan felt amazing now that he's good as new, like he received a Zenki boost.

Gohan inhaled the crisp air of the mountain and opened his eyes again staring at the heavens Regaining his desire to keep on going,

He doesn't want to end up completely dependent on aid, feeling that horrid sensation of being old with his body decaying is even worse than death.

He must find a way to remain a Super saiyan spirit forever.

Gohan tied the obi belt and noticed a ki nearing, Trunks landed on the mountain leaping down.

He was in his SSJB transformed state to combat the old age too, Gohan smiled.. If it weren't for their ability to transform they would have ended up dead much sooner.

"Hi, I don't want to disturb you" Trunks said despite knowing that Gohan doesn't seem to mind him being here.

"Im just here to pay respect to my mother" Trunks said "I'll leave you be in a bit"

"No, Trunks Its Okay" Gohan mentioned. "You have right to be here too"

Despite talking to each other over the phone a few days ago it's been a handful of weeks since they met in person.

Trunks convinced Gohan to at least install an app so that they can video chat for free when it comes to international students, with that they can create more ways to keep the business going.

Gohan had no desire to be a digital zombie like the rest of the globe but if it helps the Dojo then he'll do it.

Trunks took a seat after placing the flowers down.

"So How have you been Trunks-kun?" Gohan said,

"Something amiss?" Gohan added when Trunks seems non-responsive.

"Nothing I just thought back about that moment where created that spirit bomb to defeat Black" Trunks said.

"Even if Black did manage to kill me the spirit bomb would have been activated, I was willing to die in order to save everyone" Trunks mentioned.

" I always thought I was a coward by nature, but that final battle proved otherwise" Trunks mentioned.

"Being afraid doesn't make you a coward Trunks-kun" letting injustice thrive while doing nothing makes you one" Gohan mentioned.

"You showed bravery back then, And im proud of you still" Gohan said.

Trunks didn't respond but sat closer to Gohan, knowing that they'll get through this together.
