Chapter 17

Confessions and Visions.

Stripes settled down in his seat in the spaceship with Starblossom. He looked out at the sky with guilt and worry. Did he deserve this shot at redemption? Even after nearly killing both Megatron and Opitmus? Also, what about the journey ahead? What would the galaxy hold in store on their journey?

'Do not despair, my child...' A voice spoke, seeming to echo in Stripes' helm. Stripes immediately knew who it was.

'Father...'

'The Dark Energon was not your fault.' Primus spoke. 'No one is to blame for what happened except for the deceiver, and she and her minion have met justice. You will redeem yourself, and the future you have wanted will be open to you.'

'I hope both me and sister survive to see it...' Stripes thought.

'Before the Journey you both have to take, I shall share a vision of things to come...' Primus spoke. Stripes' vision went white, then he saw himself, along with Optimus, Starblossom, her sparkling, and Megatron, all on Cybertron in a new golden age. It looked like Stripes had just gotten back from some sort of journey.

"Uncle Crow!" Starblossom's Sparkling ran up to Stripes, grabbing his servo. Stripes in response, lifted his servo up, straightening it out as the sparkling clung to him, looking at her.

"Hi!" The sparkling said happily. "Oh, it's so good to see you! Did you miss me? Did you miss me?!" she spoke excitedly.

The vision then faded out, back to reality. It left Stripes puzzled, but happy.

"...Uncle Crow, huh?" Stripes mused out loud.

"Hm?" Starblossom looked at Stripes, puzzled.

"...I received a vision from father." Stripes spoke. "We will survive this, and things will be right. I don't know how, but we will win."

"What did you see?" Starblossom asked.

"You, Optimus, Megatron, and your Sparkling. Though for some reason, she called me "Uncle Crow." "

Starblossom thought for a bit as the ship took off. "Well, you can be a dusty old crow at times. Trust me, it makes sense..."

Stripes just grinned. He knew she was right about that.

"Also, Star. I wanted to say... I'm sorry." Stripes finished.
