Chapter 1

Percy POV.

"A week…" I murmured.

"Yes, Praetor Jackson. The Greeks said that the Argo II had some problems. Maybe Gaea did it. Anyway, they will come in a week." A legionnaire reported.

"Don't tell the Senate about that. Only inform the legion. And..tell Reyna that I am waiting in my office. Praetor meeting in ten minutes." I commanded. The reporter nodded and ran off.

"Hera, can you give me my memory back? All of them." I spoke in my mind.

I knew the queen of gods could hear that. You could just talk to the gods by imagining their faces in your mind. That was easy sometimes.

"Not yet, Perseus." Replied Hera, "I need to punish the one who disrespected me. Sorry. Just one last week, my hero. Then you will remember everything."

A week…I needed to do something. We were badly outnumbered. We needed more forces.

I walked out of my praetor house and created a rainbow.

"Iris, show me Chiron. Important things to discuss." I threw a golden drachma given by Tyson.

Chiron appeared in the rainbow.

"Percy! We miss you. You got your memory back?" My trainer asked.

"Not all back yet, Chiron. So, I brought some good news. First of all, I am the praetor of Rome now!"

Before Chiron could say anything, a new voice came.

"Wow. Someone is so proud of himself." I turned and saw Reyna.

"Reyna, you are here. Oh, this is Chiron, my activity director from the other camp." I said.

Reyna bowed.

"Lord Chiron."

"Oh, child. You don't need to do that. It's just Chiron. Not all immortals need people to call them lords." Chiron told her while smiling, "I heard a lot about you, Reyna. You and Percy will get along easily. By the way, do you have anything to ask, Percy? Anything you want to know about?"

"Yes, Chiron. Are there any minor gods on Gaea's side? I don't want it to happen, you know. We nearly lost the Titan War because of that." I said. I remembered the war with Kronos. My friend, Luke Castellan, a son of Mercury…Hermes, had sacrificed himself in order to defeat Kronos. That memory was painful.

Chiron shook his head.

"There are thousands of minor gods out there. Some even I do not know. No."

"Okay…I need to start the meeting. See you soon, Chiron. Oh, not soon actually. I will IM you soon." I ended the conversation.

I started the meeting.

"Okay. So, Reyna! I'm going to gather all the forces I can. However, the truth is, the giants and Gaea are too big and powerful. We will never have equal strength compared to them. So, we need to use war strategies. Any suggestions?" I began.

My co-praetor thought for a moment.

"Strategies? I'm not a daughter of Minerva. Anyway, my opinion. Nico di Angelo was captured, right? We need to rescue him first. He must find something. Everything will be clear after we get him back. Let's just focus on the choice of the seventh quest taker. Queen Juno chose six of the seven. What about the last one? Do you want me come with you?" She asked.

I could see her desire to go on a great quest like this one. Well, I meant she was powerful. She was a great leader. Yeah, if she wanted to come, then…

"Okay. So, it's settled. You are the seventh. Congratulations, Praetor Reyna." I decided.

"Thank you." She said,

"One more thing. What did Tyson tell you?"

Reyna frowned.

"Percy, Juno does not allow me to tell you. It's about your past. I don't know why Tyson told me. Anyway, I know you better now. One thing I can tell you is that you are always a hero. Even greater than Jason."

Greater than the son of Jupiter? Okay…

So, I decided to finish the first chapter here. Let's make it slow. No rush. This is only a talking chapter, no big things happen.

See you again in the next chapter.
