Repeating yesterday's Mistake
Casey writing in her diary: yesterday was awkward, I'm mean that girl barging into my apartment to find Derek...if you could feel the stares that the girls were giving them but mostly her was intense. You could cut that tension with a knife! I could still feel it in the room when they left, I tried to change the subject but the tension was still there but no one let it ruin their night. We had fun the rest of the night sharing laughs, enjoying the movie and bonding.
The next day, I woke up everyone early in the morning and we went to the gym to work out. Of course, guys were staring at us in our work out outfits and we ran into Derek, Ralph and Amanda but I ignored them and just worked out. I also scheduled my extra curricular activities that I was going to do for the summer and fall.
Today
Kendra: come on ladies time to go to the beach!
Casey: we can't go to the beach yet, I haven't had time to plan! I didn't have time check the forecast, I didn't have time to goggle clean and safe beaches, we didn't pack any lunches, drinks, get a beach blanket, sun screen for everyone, I didn't get a chance to Scot out places to sit and eat near the beach, gas stations and clean places to wash off and use .
Kendra: whoa! calm down MS. Risk assessment girl. Its more like a hotel cabin party on the beach. Well have fun on the beach for a little while then the party will continue in the house once it gets dark and really cold.
Casey: another party.
Emily: come on case, you know you need it.
Kendra: yes, your more whined up then a cassette tape.
Sally: Were just trying to be good friends.
Annie: yeah. We don't want a repeat of the incident that occurred last time.
Emily: yeah. When your group left you.
Kendra: its a good thing that you have great friends here that care about you, because as much as we want...we can't be here for you all of the time.
Emily: no matter how much we miss you.
Sally: so, come on let loose and have fun...work is always going to be here when you come back.
Casey: ok.
They all cheer
Zoey: I'm sorry what happened last time
Kendra: your still over here.
Zoey: actually casey called me over this morning to talk about the dissertation.
Kendra: fine then lets go.
Zoey: what happened last time?
Kendra: personal information, leave it alone.
Zoey: sorry, I didn't mean to intrude.
Kendra: but yet you always do.
Emily: so, how far is this place? Do we need snack for the road?
Casey: guys!
Annie: we definitely need snacks and coffee
Kendra: oh my gosh, yes! I need coffee and a massage. That's why were having a relax day.
Sally: did everyone remember to bring there bikini?
Zoey: well, I didn't realize that we were going to the beach today, so I don't have a bikini.
Annie: and I've just been at Casey place and borrowing her clothes.
Casey: well,.if you want to you can borrow one of my bikini
Annie: great! ( she smiles)
Casey: and Zoey, I have one for you too if you want. Actually, I have a lot with different styles and colors.
Zoey: ok.
They rummage through the drawer for what bikini they want, after a few minutes they both find the style and color they want. Annie chooses a peach with polka dots bikini dress and Zoey chooses A Women's Floral Zip Front Tankini with Boyshorts Round Neck Tank Top Padded Two Piece Swimsuits Bathing Suit. Casey is wearing an OMKAGI Brand Brazilian Sexy Push Up Bikinis Bathing Suit. The color of the the bathing suit is dark blue swade bikini with light pink straps and there also a light pink strap around the bikini bottom as well. Sally is wearing a pink bikini and Kendra is wearing yellow. They all wear dresses and beach hats and they all get in the car to leave for the party.
Once they arrive, they see people partying on the beach people are dancing, drinking and others are enjoying the sun and the water. Casey smiles and approaches the party, she ask for a drink and the bartender ask her what she wants. She says something light and fruity, the bartender mixes her a daquari, she tastes the drink and smiles and she gives him a nod of approval and he smiles back. She continues to drink the drink .She finally finishes and ask for another one, she sips the drink and as she leans away from the straw, some of it gets on her lips and she licks it off her lips mmmhmmm she says. Then she takes another sip, she can't believe that she has never taste this drink before.
Zoey: I love daquaries!
Casey: really?
Zoey: yeah. Look, casey I really appreciate you helping me on this dissertation, I can't tell you how important this has been to me. How important and what a drastic difference having you on my team has done. Its not to have a friend like me and not have to worry about competition getting in the way of things.
Casey: I know what you mean, I had a lot of competition with a lot of my friends when I got here. Well they weren't my friends when we were competing but we are now.
Zoey: what was that like?
Casey: the other trying to out do and prove that the other person was better.
Zoey: so what changed?
Casey: we realized that we were equals.
Zoey: that's great! I'm glad things like that can happen instead of back stabbing, lies and manipulation.
Casey: oh there was all of that too.
Zoey: and you still managed to still be close.
Casey: yeah. We all got over it. Although I never did any of that, I played fair and so did Josie, casey G, izzie and Sterling. The others, did though and they apologized... Some even felt bad. Josie said she almost crossed the line but had to stop herself.
Zoey: so, you really had no problem with them doing those things to you?
Casey: yeah. I mean they said sorry and I can sympathize with them.
Zoey: I get that.
Sterling walks up to Casey
Sterling: hey you!
Casey: hey back at you
Sterling: I'm so glad your out and about, just having fun.
Casey: that was the idea.
Sterling: I love it when you let loose, so we can see care free casey.
Casey: care free casey might make an appearance.
Sterling: well, I hope I'm around for the show.

The bartender has her the drink, she looks at Sterling and then turns away.
I smile at her and look at Sterling and suggest with my eyes to go talk to him and she does.
Zoey: that was intense
Casey: you could sense that?
Zoey: yeah ummm I read their body language.
Casey sees Josie hanging with Penelope. She sees hope dancing with a guy, she sees Casey G and izzie dancing wild on the dance floor. She also sees Nelle and Elyse talking with guys. Olivia and Amber are dancing on the dance, the are grinding on each other with solo cups in their hands. Lizzie is laughing at some guy that she is talking to. Emily walks up to the bar and a guy follows behind her.
Emily: hey case, having fun.
Casey: sure
Emily (rolls her eyes) well try harder like your grades depends on it.
The guy: whose your friend?
Emily: oh! Right! I'm sorry. Guys this is Deanthoney
Casey:( shakes his hand) nice to finally meet you.

Zoey: nice to meet you too, I'm Zoey.
Emily starts singing a song to the guy standing next to her, she starts to sing shot clock by Ella mai.

Casey: whatever makes you happy.

Casey laughs.
Derek walks up to the bar with Ellie and they both order drinks.

Casey song comes on and she gets on the bar stop and dances, Derek laughs and watches her, he takes out his phone and films her. Thirty seconds into the song, someone reaches out for their beer and causes Casey to trip and fall into Derek's arms.
Derek: ( smiles) you need to be more careful, klutzilla
Casey stares into his eyes and smiles and he smiles back.
Casey: ( jumps out of Derek's arms and pushes him away. He giggles ) don't bring that back!
Derek: relax princess.
Casey: I told you, that I hate it when people tell me to, relax!
Derek: easy case, you don't need to get high strung.
Casey: ( rolls her eyes) whatever.
Zoey sees Sam sitting down and drinking beer, he starts singing Praying by Jesus.
