"Hold up. Mm, Too Easy." Uma says. I flare my nostrils at her. She could ruin our plan. "Why don't you give it a test drive? We want to see it work." Uma says. I glare at Harry, who was staring at me, again.
"You always were quite the drama queen." Mal says. I nod. I see Dude come up to us in my peripheral vision.
"Oh, and nothing too big, or else Ben is fish bait." Uma says. I look at Ben, and see Harry holding him over the water.
"We're dead." I hear Carlos say. Mal turns, and I motion to Dude with my eyes. Mal gets it and turns to Dude.
"Okay." mal says. My heart is beating so fast, that's how scared I am. "Although this seems absurd, turn your bark into a word!" Mal says. Dude doesn't say anything, and I'm getting a little impatient.
"Talk, dog." I say.
"Does this vest make me look fat?" Dude asks. Laughter was heard. I smirk, knowing we might have won this battle. "Hey, does anyone have some bacon? Cookies?" Uma laughs.
"Give me the wand!" she says.
"Give me Ben!" Mal exclaims. Uma stays silent for a few seconds.
"Harry, bring him over." I step behind Mal. Harry brings Ben over and Gil says something to Ben. "Oh. Cut him loose, Harry." Uma says. I glare at Harry. Harry sighs.
"I never get to have any fun." Harry says. Ben reaches out to Mal. Mal hands the wand to Uma.
"Ben, go!" Mal exclaims.
"Ben, we have to go. Come on." I say. Uma cast a spell, and realized the wand was fake. We didn't make it out on time!
"No!" Uma exclaims, snapping the wand in half. "You do not get to win every time!" Uma shouts.
"Actually, we do." I shout back. We all get the swords Lonnie brought. Carlos gets the smoke bombs and sets one off. Evie tosses both me and Ben a sword.
"Ben, the wand was fake, and Dude can talk. Trust us this next time, okay." I say. He nods. A huge battle breaks out, and I throw two of my opponents into the water. I see Mal and Uma start to fight. I see Harry and Jay begin to fight. I see Evie step on a tough opponent's foot. I try that, and let out a chuckle when it works. I see Lonnie give up her sword and dodge every time her opponent tries to hit her, she soon beats the guy. I see Jay take Harry's hook and throw it into the water. I smirk.
I fight harder and harder. I go and make my way over to help Mal, who is struggling. She beats Uma, who goes and helps Harry. Jay starts the car, and we all try to get out of there. Harry fights Ben, while Uma takes on Mal. I feel my hair fire start up. I feel a rage course through my veins, and kick Harry, who turns to me.
"I'm fighting you, leave Ben alone." I say, taking a swing.

Bring it on, it's going down." Uma's crew sings as we fight. Evie gets a smoke bomb, and it explodes. We all get out, but I'm the last one. I turn around to see Uma and Harry. I kick down the bridge shortcut. I smirk. I cross over to the car. I notice Mal next to me. I high-five her.
"Mal! Hadie!" Ben shouts. We cross and get into the limo. As I sit there, I realize how out of breath I am. I catch my breath while I stare out of the window. Ben and Mal have a little heart-to-heart.
"Awkward!" Dude says. Carlos says something to Dude, but I'm zoned out. We get out of the Isle, and cross the magical bridge. We arrive in Auradon, Mal and Ben say something, and Evie takes me over to Mal.
"We need to talk." Evie says.
"Yeah." Mal says. I nod.
"No." Carlos says from behind us. We turn and face him.
"No?" Evie asks.
"You guys are always going off in a huddle, whispering your girl talk stuff or whatever, and Jay and I are tired of it." Carlos says. Jay looks surprised at what Carlos said.
"I'm not." Jay says. Carlos glares at him.
"We're your family, too. We've been through a lot together. We're not stopping that now, okay?" Carlos pauses. "Everyone sit." Carlos sits. Then, we all sit down.
"I don't know how to start girl talk." Carlos confesses. Carlos looks over at Jay.
"What up?" Jay says. Me and Evie chuckle.
"Um, well…" Mal starts.
"I'm a mess." I confess.
"I'm such a mess." mal confesses. "I mean, six months ago, I was, you know, stealing candy from babies, and now everybody wants me to be this Lady of the Court. And I have no idea how to keep up the act." Mal says, her voice breaking.
"Then don't. What about you Hadie?" Carlos asks me.
"I, uh, six short months ago, I was the baddest of the bad, and I graffitied everything, stole things, and was so horrible." I let out a hollow laugh. "Now, I'm this goody-two-shoes who gets good grades, and I'm struggling. I can't balance school and other things. I can't do it." I say.
"Then don't." Carlos says.
"See? This was dumb." Jay says, getting up.
"Maybe it wasn't." Evie says, and Jay sits back down.
"We're always gonna be the kids from the Isle. I tried to forget it. I really tried, but those are our roots. And we all did what we had to do to survive. But it made us who we are. And we are never gonna be like anyone else here. And that's okay. That's okay."
"And we can't fake it." Carlos says.
"No." Evie says, agreeing with Carlos.
"Yeah. I mean, especially without my spellbook." Mal says. I nod.
"Mal, if Ben doesn't love the real you, then he's not the one." Carlos says. I nod, again.
"I like that." Evie says.
"Me too." I say, thinking of Harry.
"Give him a chance." Carlos says.
"I'm gonna make some changes to your dress. And if you're up for it… only if you're up for it… it will be waiting for you, okay?" Evie says. Mal nods. Evie pulls both me and Mal into a hug. Everyone except Mal and I get up. Jay comes and sits back down.
"Come to Cotillion tonight, all right? If Ben isn't smart enough to love you and you can't stand another day, I'll drive you back tomorrow myself." Jay says to Mal. Mal nods. He turns to me. "Hadie, also come to Cotillion. If you can't stand the pressure of school and extracurriculars, I will also drive you back tomorrow myself." Jay says. I gratefully smile.
"Okay?" Jay says and gets up. I go and get ready for Cotillion.
A/N: Okay. So... I was thinking about this for a little while I was listening to some songs (music takes up 90% of my brain) and I was listening to the lyrics and the first thing that came to me was, 'Wow, these lyrics kind of really remind me of Harry and Hadie's awkward relationship.' So then I did a bit of brainstorming and my three brain cells came up with 2 one-shots. Odd, I know. So then I was looking at the idea and thought is might be a good idea, but only if people actually read it. PM me what you think so I have a better understanding of what I should do.
