The Power of The Quirkless Ch 4
The next day Don would wake up to knocking on his door *ugh who would be up at this time* he got up yawning and opened the door to see Aizawa and Nezu standing outside it "Hello sensei and principal" Nezu gave a big smile "Hello Donavan can we come in?" Don moved out of the way and let them in. Don walked over to his bed rubbing his eyes "Is there a problem?" Aizawa sighed "Possibly the power you showed yesterday was a bit weird for a kid with no Quirk so we would like to ask if you are willing to do a quirk test with Recovery girl?".
"Yeah, sure I'm curious myself to see if this power is the result of a quirk, anything else?" Nezu's face straightens out and his voice gets less cheerful "Yes there is something personal we would like to ask you? About your arms" Don stops rubbing his eyes and looks up "Recovery girl told you right?" Nezu nods "well don't worry I haven't done anything like that since my parents passed" Don stares at the ground after saying this.
Aizawa says confused "What do you mean were you doing this kind of thing while living with your parents" Don looks up at Aizawa "do you want to know the answer?" Nezu and Aizawa look horrified *he has been doing this while he was with his parents and they didn't know? * Don then tells the 2 about his past even the parts with Var and the teachers. Nezu looks disappointed as well as Aizawa "you 2 don't have to worry about me I'm fine now see" he lifts his sleeves showing it to be clear of cuts but there are a couple of scars.
Aizawa and Nezu looked at each other and Nezu spoke "Ok we trust you but if you are having a hard time don't be afraid to talk to us" Don smiles and nods "ok I will" the 2 left Don's room worried while Don sat there *what to do I could go to the common room and wait for class sure* Don gets up and gets ready for class and sits on the sofa watching TV. While he is sitting there Var walks down and gets annoyed at the sight of Don *why has he not left yet Quirkless losers don't belong here*.
Don gets up and walks to Recover girl's office *I should probably do the test now instead of later* when he walks past Var, Var nudges Don's shoulder and walking away Don clenches his fist in anger but lets it go *it's too early for this crap* he knocks the door to recovery girl's office "hello I'm here to do a quirk test" Recovery girl opens the door and lets Don in "ok let's begin this will only take a little bit".
Recovery girl does the quirk tests and finds out that Don is indeed Quirkless she looks at the results "I don't understand?" Don looks at Recovery girl confused "what is it" Recovery girl shows the results to Don "So I am Quirkless but what was that power?" Recovery girl shrugs "I'm not sure but I need to know do you know what triggered it" Don replied, "immense anger I was getting shouted at someone I'm not entirely fond of and it just filled me with rage and when I threw the ball it just all came out" Recovery girl rubs her chin "hmmm maybe it's just raw emotion that gives that out any way you should go to class".
Don nods and walks to class when he enters, he sees the whole class sitting there Aizawa turns to see Don at the door "why are you this late?" Don walks to Aizawa and put a piece of paper showing the test results and walks to his seat Aizawa looks at the sheet and goes wide-eyed and looks at Don smiling. While Aizawa continues with the lessons Don fills Lofu in with what has happened "So I did the tests I am without a doubt Quirkless" Lofu rubbed his chin "odd we will need to test this out maybe different emotions trigger different effects".
Over the next couple of weeks During training, Don was trying his hardest to recreate his trigger for this red power but not being able to get it. He is in the middle of training against Ojiro *C'mon think what triggered it* he's just doing regular hand to hand training the 2 teens seem matched but the tail Ojiro has is making it hard for Don to land good hits *The trigger was the rage to Var's remarks so let's try thinking about that* Don starts thinking about all the things that anger him with Var at the centre.
While he is thinking about all that Dons hands are flickering with red energy not as much as before and not as potent. Ojiro notices this *is that what I think it is*. Don is managing to land hits with the red fire-like energy covering his knuckles causing Ojiro to go on the defensive *You're a waste of space, your worthless, YOU DON'T BELONG HERE* Don replaying these quotes in his head is able to have the red energy appear more often.
Aizawa looking over the teens is watching this *Huh there's that power again* Don was starting to hit harder and harder which starts to wear down Ojiro pretty fast and is starting to get hurt beyond what is normal to training "Don could we have a break" Don does not respond and keeps punching getting stronger and stronger "Don stop!" Aizawa throws his scarf to restrain him and wraps around him. Don starting to look around seeing Aizawa calming down clearing his thoughts of anger "uhh what happened?" Aizawa walked over to Don "well you tapped into that power again, but you lost control".
Don looks down in disappointment, but he is anything than disappointment he felt great *I know how to trigger it, but I need to train my mental fortitude maybe Tokoyami could help with that* "I will need to work on that" Aizawa let go of the restraints "alright be sure to keep that under control Ojiro go see recovery girl" Ojiro nodded and ran off. Don looked as Ojiro ran off holding his waist which made Don feel a bit sad hurting one of his colleges he then thought of what would have happened if Aizawa didn't stop him in time attempting to shake off the feeling working slightly but it was in the back of his head for the rest of the training session.
Another week passes and they get their hero costumes everyone was so excited to see what their outfits would look like Don opened his case up seeing padded out clothes with accompanying nun chucks the outfit was dark blue combat trousers, combat trousers, half smiling half frowning mask (the smiling half is white, and the frowning half is black) and metal shin guards/arm guards. He put on his outfit and looked around slightly freaking out a couple of his classmates.
Mina walks up to Don and pokes his shoulder Don turns around and sees Mina "Oh what's up Mina" she smiles and asks, "So what's with the mask?" Don takes it off and looks at it "I thought it looked cool that's all" *It is really to resemble the heroes in this sham of a system the people like Allmight is the bright side and people like Var are the dark sides* "Oh yea it looks cool but it's weirding out the rest" Don looks around to see a couple of his classmate a bit weirded out.
Denki Kaminari & Kyoka Jiro
*meh it should make them feel like this, but they will get used to it* the class get their outfits on and go out to Allmight for their hero training and they draw lots for the hero vs villain training Don got grouped up with Momo, but their fight didn't happen until later on. But he watched everyone's fight especially Lofu's match with Bakugo where Bakugo stayed behind while Iida ran out to find the heroes, but he got captured quickly as Lofu waited for Iida to run past him and tied the capture tape around his waist.
After Iida is captured Lofu and Ochaco run to Bakugo who is protecting the bomb when Lofu was in sight Bakugo waited for him to enter the room and then he rushed in with the usual right hook which Lofu predicted and tied the capture tape around his arm putting him out of the training session and ending it with Allmight stating who won.
Don smiles at the victory of Midoriya *that must be so cathartic for him* he turns to Momo "who do you think we will go up against?" Momo rubbed her chin "I'm not sure since it's random it could be anyone" Don nods "yea we should still think about strategies" the next couple of match's finishes leaving Denki and Jiro (heroes) vs Momo and Don (villains). Momo and Don go to the bomb "any ideas to deal with these 2 Momo" Momo starts making barricades "well I can make something to draw Denki's electricity" Don nods in agreement.
Denki and Jiro run into the building Jiro using her quirk to find any noise, points up and holds up 3 fingers and they walk up 3 floors and Jiro uses her quirk again hearing footsteps from the left of them she points left and Denki gets ready pointing his finger at the hallway. Denki walks around the corner seeing a pair of shoes on the ground "huh?" then he is suddenly covered with a blanket he uses his quirk to little effect and Don wraps the capture tape around Denki.
Don wipes his clothes down and puts his shoes on "1 down 1 to go" he turns to look for Jiro but does not see anyone "huh must be somewhere else" he starts blindly walking around the floor with Hiro following at a distance *Come on I know your around here* after a couple of minutes of walking Don he stops at a door and he knocks on it "hey it's me" the door opens and don quickly walks in and closes the door.
Momo looking a bit tired "who did you get" Don sits down "I got Denki and I'm not sure if Jiro can break the door down" as Don says that they hear a noise from the opposite side of the door getting louder and louder until the barricade falls apart and the door opens. *Oh god that is so loud* Jiro is moving into the room blaster her heartbeat rendering Momo unconscious, but Don was still up but holding his ears *think the bad thoughts maybe I can push past this* Don moves in front of the bomb and starts cycling through all his bad thoughts "Don move!" Jiro shouted but to no effect.
Don starts flickering with his red energy surrounding his hands and it slowly spreads to the rest of the body and removes his hands from his ears "Don seriously move" Jiro screaming but don was not listening and was slowly advancing to Jiro. In the spectating room, the other teens were looking at Don walking through the soundwaves extremely worried about their classmate's well-being "Allmight you need to stop the test" Lofu says "I don't think Don can last and he might have great damage after" Allmight sighs "you're ri"
Over the speakers all they hear Don screaming at the top of his lungs "I will not LOSE!" Don gets his capture tape and wraps it around Jiro's arms and fell on his back breathing heavily with his red energy dissipating and then over the speakers, Allmight shouted "Villain's win".
Don is laying there breathing heavily "that…was…close" Jiro was looking at Don slightly freaking out "don are you ok oh god" Don just said in a daze "I'm ok just…worn out" and Don falls unconscious Jiro looks over at Momo seeing she is just waking up "ugh what happened" she holds her head seeing Jiro over Don "did we lose?" Jiro shakes her head "nope you won help me get Don to Recovery girl.
Don shots up from a bed gasping and immediately held his head seeing Recovery girl and a very skinny man with yellow hair "I'm up ahh my head oh hello Recovery girl and who are you?" Recovery girl and Allmight jumped from Don sitting up suddenly Recovery girl walked over to Don and made him lie down on the bed "you need to rest you took a lot of damage" Don lie's down and stares up to the ceiling "I was able to control it" Recovery girl looked at him confused "I was able to control the red energy" Allmight turns to the door and smiles *I need to tell Aizawa*.
The next couple of days Don was recovering and members of the class come over at least once each even Var appears but he was just there with Kirishima not bothering to even look at the injured classmate, Don was enjoying Kirishima's company but he only had anger for Var *Coward*. Don finally recovers and walks back to his dorm late at night * it's peaceful at night* he walks past Lofu's door and it opens seeing Midoriya standing there not wearing his wig.
"in," Midoriya says coldly and Don walks in with Midoriya closing the door "so what is it you need?" Midoriya walks to his bed taking his phone out "The LOV has decided to attack at the USJ in 2 days" Don rubs his chin "it's about time they decided to attack ok are you planning to reveal yourself?" Midoriya smiles "yea what about you?" Don thinks for a second "well I'm not a part of the LOV so it might be a bit risky and having at least 1 spy is better than 0" Midoriya nods "I guess well I must know how are you able to use that red power".
Don walks to his door "lots and lots of anger I just think about what angers me the most but I do have to warn you it is a very aggressive power so don't lose your head also I won't be killing the other class member's maybe Var but no one else" Midoriya nods and Don leaves to go into his room. He enters his room, sits on his bed and informs Stain of what is happening.

So his energy is a damage and durability boost and that is why he was able to last so long against Jiro's heartbeat attack also I am not going to have Allmight give his quirk to Donavan if he was given the opportunity he would decline wanting to prove himself without the power. also sorry for the late upload i have not had as much time to write as i would like.
