The next day Don walks to Midoriya's room in the morning to finalise the plans "we should stage a big fight between us since we have spent a lot of time with each other in class" Midoriya nods "yes that would make you more believable" Don thinks "you have told me the plan of the attack but not the why" Midoriya smirks "all in good time Don" Don just gave a confused look and left to go to class *weird he must be hiding something but I will play along*.
Before training Don approaches Tokoyami "hey Tokoyami I need your help during training" Tokoyami turned in curiosity "what do you need my help with" Don replies "I need help controlling my emotions since my power is linked to them maybe other emotions trigger different effects" Tokoyami nods "ok I will help you today" so for training Tokoyami and Don went to a corner of the training area and began to do some meditation
"So this really helps?" Don said confused "yes it helps me calm Dark Shadow when he gets too active" Don sighs and continues with the training. Aizawa was keeping a close eye on Don and Tokoyami *what is he doing* while he was sitting there he saw a flicker of blue coming off his hands *huh* Aizawa watched as blue fire energy growing he walked carefully to Tokoyami and poked his shoulder Tokoyami turns and looks to Aizawa "What is it sensei".
Aizawa nods to Don and he turns to see a blue fire faintly surrounding the top half of his body "what is this" Tokoyami stands there in awe of this blue fire which was slowly growing "Aizawa do we need to be worried?" Aizawa was watching and said plainly "I am not sure". Dons face turns from a calm resting face to a frowning face and tears start running down his cheek the blue fire starts growing faster.
Aizawa decides to tap Don's shoulder "hey are you ok?" Don opens his eyes filled with tears "I am just thinking about stuff" he rubs his eyes and notices the blue energy around his body but unlike the red, it stayed pretty close and calm to his body where the red looked like a raging fire. He gets up and walks to the side of Tokoyami but neither Aizawa nor Tokoyami react until a couple of seconds later. From Don's perspective, everything was running in slow motion.
Don cleared his head of any thoughts and the blue flames die down and everyone started to return to normal speed "well I guess I know what that does now" still wiping his eyes and sniffling "thank you Tokoyami you have truly helped me" Don walks off to train his body. In the next lesson they were deciding class reps Iida suggested that we hold a vote and so they did with Don getting 3 votes and Momo getting 2 votes.
Don gets up in front of the class with Momo and states "as much as I would like to be class rep I am not suited for it as I am not as sensible as a couple of you and for the fact I am Quirkless. Now I know you all are accepting of me" he stares at Var "but I think Tenya Iida should be our class rep because he seems to be able to control the class in a way like a teacher" Don walks down to Iida and shakes his hand the rest of the class talks amongst themselves and agree with Don.
The class reps were now decided and class continued as normal (there is no break-in) and the class go to sleep. The next day the class woke up expecting a regular day of class except for Don and Midoriya they know they are going to the USJ. The class got into class and Aizawa announced to the class that they were going to do some different hero training the class cheered in excitement and got their outfits and went outside to the bus.
Don walked with Midoriya and whispered, "did you tell them to avoid me?" Midoriya nods "only the boss knows not to hurt you the rest don't" Don nodded "good" and he walked on ahead of Midoriya *I get to have some fun* the class line up and get on to the bus Don sat near the back of the bus looking out of the window most of the time not getting bothered by anyone *well I get to fight these guys with my new power but unlike the red power I can't fully control how to activate it yet*.
They arrive at their destination and are greeted by the rescue hero 13 and are brought inside the USJ the class go inside and are amazed by the different areas and while Aizawa and 13 are talking a purple portal opens in the middle *finally I get to fight* Aizawa tells 13 to keep the class up at the doors and don looks around already noticing that Midoriya is gone "so has anyone seen Lofu?" they all look around until they see Midoriya down by the portal.
Midoriya turns to look at his classmates up at the top of the stairs and smiles taking off his wig, his contacts and rubbing off makeup revealing 4 freckles on either side of his face Bakugo drops to his knees "he's alive?" Don walks over to Bakugo with a blank face "that's Izuku Midoriya isn't it?" Bakugo gasps and turns "how do you know that name?" Don just looks at Bakugo and shifts his eyes to Var "when you're in a certain headspace you tend to keep an eye on people like yourself" Bakugo looks down "Bakugo I am personally going to bring him back" Don walks down the stairs activating his red energy knocking out who stood in front of him.
"MIDORIYA!" Don yelled and he stopped in place *come on make this look good* Midoriya starts to walk to Don meeting in the middle and surrounded by thugs "oh and what do you want Donavan?" Don puts his hands up "I'm going to bring you back" Midoriya starts glowing with green energy "then come and get me" Don ran to Midoriya covered in red energy and they began trading blows. At the start, Midoriya had the advantage of being more agile but that only worked for so long as Don finally got a good hit on him staggering him a bit.
"Are you ready to give up" Don was smiling from ear to ear *oh my god fighting someone on my level is so fun but I'm starting to get worn out* Midoriya stood up and spat out blood "not even close" Don saw Midoriya's eyes were full of rage *oh fuck he lost control* Don tried to quickly end the fight but with the extra rage Midoriya has acquired he outmatches Don in strength and durability.
*Ok I need to use my new power to think sad thoughts* Don thinks about all of the people who believe in him truthfully and visualises them dying which makes him increasingly sad. The red raging flames were replaced by calm blue flames as Don got faster and faster with every punch. Don was overwhelming Midoriya but in the end, both teens were standing in front of each other exhausted and out of their powered forms but still had the urge to fight both Don and Midoriya ran at each other landing 1 punch each with Midoriya falling and Don standing.
Don looked around with 1 eye open seeing that all of the thugs are down and Aizawa was facing off with a purple bird guy *this is too much weird for 1 day* Don stumbles over to the stairs getting away from the fight between the purple monster and Aizawa. Don appears at the top of the stairs breathing heavily with 1 eye closed and blood coming from his mouth and forehead he scanned around and saw 13 on the floor with Mina and Ochaco beside her "hey…what did I…miss" Don falls over after that going unconscious.
Don misses the fight between the Nomu and Allmight and the escape of the LOV with Midoriya. Don jerks up from where he was looking around dazed and confused noticing he is in his vigilante suit *weird haven't worn this in a while* he hears an explosion and runs to it and as soon as he finds where it came from he was speechless. He saw Bakugo being held by his shirt by Midoriya and his face is contorted in this evil smile *what the hell is this* Midoriya turns his head slowly looking at Don dropping Bakugo "ah there you are" Don stood there still in fear watching Midoriya approach. Don put his hands up to fight but Midoriya lunged at him. Don opened his eyes in a cold sweat and bandaged "God damn it I'm back here again" Recovery girl jumps at the sudden voice "Jeez kid do you ever wake up like a normal person" Don smiles "sometimes anyway is the rest of the class ok?" Recovery girl sighs "well I'm not going to sugarcoat this you had it the worst kid".
Don's smile changed to a look of worry "where is Midoriya?" Recovery girl looked at Don puzzled "who is Midoriya?" Don sighed "Lofu, Midoriya was Lofu" "Oh well it seems that the kid left with the villains" Don looks at the ceiling blankly "damn I knew I should have dragged him back with me" Don sits up on his bed "ow I took that much damage" Recovery girl was about to walk over but Don put his hand up "Look I know I should rest but I need to talk to Bakugo".
Recovery girl sighs "Ok but I will come with you so you don't hurt yourself" Don nodded and walked out still in his hero outfit which is torn a bit around the sides and chest. He manages to get to the common room without falling over and tells recovery girl she can go, He walks around the corner seeing Sero, Kirishima and Bakugo sitting on the sofa's "Sup nerds look who's back" Don said with a painful smile on his face.
Sero and Kirishima rush over to support Don and bring him to the sofa "How are you man" Kirishima asks "Nothing I can't handle" Don responds, Sero chuckles "that fight was crazy between you and Lofu" Bakugo opens his mouth to speak but Don speaks before him "his name is Izuku Midoriya" Bakugo looks up to Don "we need to talk alone" Don nods "ok we should probably go to one of the dorms my one is closer" Don gets up and walks to his room with Bakugo supporting him.
They both enter the room Bakugo sit Don down and closes the "you are going to tell me how you know his name" Don sighed "well I actually knew before getting into UA" Bakugo went wide-eyed "I first met him at the entrance exam and you wouldn't believe it but he was 2 seats to your left in the examination hall." Don proceeded to tell Bakugo about the encounter leaving out the stuff about the LOV and stain.
Bakugo was on his knees crying thinking about how much he missed Izuku and he was right here this whole time "wow so this is what I might have caused to Var" Bakugo looks up confused "well pretty much what happened between you and Izuku happened to me and Var but I fought back and got punished now get up and sit on a chair" Bakugo did what he was told and sat on a chair "What happened with Izuku was terrible but you know he is alive we can help him" Bakugo said with slight anger "did you know about him and the LOV?" Don replied quickly "no I did not only what his true name was".
Bakugo and Don spoke for about an hour about their past and about Izuku until Bakugo left feeling satisfied with the answers *well at least I know he is sorry for what he did let's see if Midoriya has recovered* Don pulls out his phone and starts texting Midoriya
Quirkless: so how are you today.
Deku: I'm fine but did you really have to hit me that hard in the face.
Quirkless: yes I did so people saw I was going all out
Deku: how is the class reacting.
Quirkless: Bakugo is a mess right now I just talked to him and he was half crying about you.
Deku: serves him right for doing what he did to me.
Quirkless: look anyway my cover is far from being blown so I can stay a mole.
Deku: good I will message you when I need information.
Authors note:
So Deku revealed himself but didn't really get to lord it over Bakugo for the fact the planned spectacle of the Quirkless fighting each other. Don has found a new power linked with his emotion sadness.
