The Power of The Quirkless Ch 10
The pair left the training area and walked back into the dorm "Alright that was a good first session I can see that you have a lot of potential and with that quirk you would be unstoppable" Don says with a warm smile on his face "Alright well I got to get going I'll talk to you tomorrow." Shinso splits off from Don and walks away. *That kid seriously has a dangerous quirk I must be careful* Don continues with to his Dorm room to find that Nezu was sitting there in his chair "uh hello principle" Nezu looks like his cheerful self "hello Don so I heard about you not taking part in the internships."
Don nods "yea I don't want to go to an agency, it feels like they only want me for publicity and nothing else" Nezu replies "Well, of course, you would boost the publicity but this may be your only time to make connections to the rest of the heroes already about" Don sits down on his bed looking a bit annoyed "Yes I get that but I don't trust them enough yet I would rather stay and be put through constant training than go out there to the heroes you would never know how they would treat me".
Nezu started to look more concerned "Well it is ultimately your choice if you wish to participate, I best be off if you need to talk to me, you know where I am" Nezu walked out the door leaving Don sitting on his bed *I haven't contacted stain I should figure out if he needs anything*.
Quirkless: Hey any assignments or work needing to be done?
Blood: yes, in a couple of days we are needed in Hosu.
Quirkless: What for?
Blood: Shigiraki is going to test his new Nomus, and I have a target there a hero named Native.
Quirkless: Right text me the date and I will be out there.
Blood: I need you out here in 4 days at 7 pm.
Quirkless: Sure, I will see what I can do.
The next day Don got up as usual and headed to the common area *finally the weekend* he sat down and flicked through channels on the tv "is there anything on" a voice beside him speaks "no not really" Don jumps from the sudden voice seeing it was Uraraka which also surprises her "don't sneak up on me please." Ochaco apologies and changes the subject to the internships "So have you figured out where you are going for your internships, I'm probably going to Gunhead" Don shrugs "I'm not doing the internships."
Ochaco looks confused "why not" "I don't feel like they want me for my abilities more for the publicity" Ochaco looks a bit concerned "are you sure you want to do that?" Don smiles "yea I'm sure" Don gets up and walks out of the dorms for a walk around campus *I wonder what Shigiraki has planned maybe just a test for them on the field regardless I need to be there* for the next three days Don and Shinso had training sessions with Shinso improving his hand-to-hand combat skills as well as getting closer as friends and the rest of the students finalise their picks for internships.
After the three days Don gets ready for class and arrives on time seeing only him and Shinso, Aizawa stands up from his sleeping bag "So you 2 I know you have been taking extra time to train after class hours which is good because that's what you will be doing all week and since all of class 1-B is gone you can stay in there for a lot longer" Don and Shinso nod "oh and you will be sparing against me". The trio goes to an unoccupied gym and begins a rigorous training regimen.
After the training and breaks the school day is over Don and Shinso goes to the changing rooms to get sorted "Hey Don" Don looks at Shinso "thanks" Don looks confused "what for?" Shinso gave a faint smile "well you're the first person that has treated me like another human and not someone with brainwashing powers" Don chuckles "I'm surprised but I guess the stigma of your quirk does exist" Don looked at the time 6:30 "Shinso I gotta go I will talk to you tomorrow" Shinso looks a bit confused "All right see you later" Shinso gets his stuff and leaves the changing room *where could he be going*.
Don runs to his dorm room and picked up his vigilante outfit put in his backpack and ran out of the dorms arriving at the train station just In time for the next train to Hosu and texted Stain that he was almost there Stain texted him the location and Don got there at exactly 7 pm. Don was breathing heavily as he had sprinted from the station to a water tower a fair bit into the city "Ok let me get changed" Don took the time to get changed to recover from the run.
Don was now in his outfit and had recovered from the run "Ok where is our target?" Stain points down into an alleyway "there he is and, in an alleyway, how unfortunate" Stain and Don jump down to attack Native but stain pretty quickly without the need of Don. While stain is dealing with Native an explosion is heard nearby "ugh so noisy" Stain said in disgust "so they sent out the Nomus" Native looked up at Stain "so you're with the LOV?" Stain responds, "we have a mutual agreement that is all."
Stain is about to kill Native when they hear from the street "Stain I am here to stop you" before Don could react the person rushed forward to attack Stain, but Stain was able to parry the attack and knock off the enemy's helmet showing Tenya Iida's face. Don made sure his voice changer was working before moving to assist Stain "who are you kid" Stain asked Tenya explained who he was and why he was there *No Tenya this is not what a hero does*.
Tenya attempts to attack again but gets easily taken down by stain and gets paralysed by Stain's quirk, Stain is about to kill Tenya before "Stain he's a kid you need to let him learn or you will not get what you want" Stain holds his sword above Iida's head thinking and then finally sighing "you're right but he is different" he points his sword to Native Don nods and Stain walks back over to Native. Don goes over and picks up Iida "you are very lucky I was here today Tenya Iida."
Iida is being carried out of the alley before screaming "NO KILL ME INSTEAD LET HIM LIVE" Iida is crying and screaming and stain calls back "Iida you came in here for revenge and after 5 minutes you learned one of the best lessons about being a hero" Iida looks at Stain "you have learned to sacrifice yourself for the better of others as you have done this I will spare you both" Don takes off one of Iida's gloves.
Stain pulls out a dagger and puts a massive S on his hand "let this be a reminder of your past life" Stain leaves by climbing up a building and Don drags both Iida and Native out of the alleyway and puts them sitting up "comfortable?" Don asked while pulling out Iida's phone "What are you doing Villain?" Don laughed "well I'm going to call an ambulance for you two, so he does not bleed out" Iida shifts his eyes to Native seeing he is barely conscious.
Don calls an ambulance for the 2 and returns Iida's phone "here you go Ingenium I ho- "Don gets interrupted by a giant fist striking him on the face sending him down the street. Don slides across the ground and finally stopped he got up and struggled to stay up "What the fuck hit me" he went to touch his mask to find out a chunk was missing, and it affected his voice changer, Don looks around to see a Nomu standing above Iida and Native.
Don quickly gathers himself and rushes back using his red aura to punch the Nomu in the face which cracks the beak and forces the Nomu back "Ingenium can you stand at all?" Iida is barely able to move "I'm not sure" Don shouts back in a warped version of his own voice "Ingenium if you don't stand up right now" the Nomu rushed back, started pummelling and pushing Don back.
Don screams in pain and attempts to fight back but the Nomu is not letting up, so his outfit starts to tear from his forearms. Don in desperation activates his blue aura as well which levels the speed difference which allows Don to fight back. Iida attempts to move being able to stand up *I can't help damn it, Wait! * Iida opens his phone and sends his location to Todoroki and saying he is in trouble. Don at this point can match the speed of this Nomu landing successful hits as well as taking them causing his outfit to rip more.
*Jesus if I make it out of this Shigiraki is a dead man* Don is starting to get faster and stronger with each hit but is getting worn out fast "Ingenium assist please!" Iida shouts "I can fully move yet but I have notified all close by heroes!" *Shit this is bad* Don is starting to get pushed back again and his blue aura is starting to fade. *I can't last too much long* Don's blue and red aura drops soon after and Don starts to get overwhelmed.
Don kept his hands up to block, but it didn't matter the Nomu easily overpowered Don and shattered his mask with a powerful punch to Don's face knocking him out. Iida now being able to move fully shouts "RECIPRO BURST" Iida rushes in kicks the Nomu in the face, grabs Don and Native running away around the corner *C'mon where are they? *. Iida ran around with the Nomu in close pursuit finally finding Todoroki and Endeavour.
"Endeavour Todoroki help a Nomu is chasing us!" Endeavour scoffs "I will handle this" Endeavour runs to the Nomu grabbing its head and incinerating the head making short work of the Nomu. Endeavour turned and gloated "did you see that Shoto?" Shoto didn't respond as he looks at one of the two people the vigilante the Quirkless "no it can't be" Iida looks at Shoto confused "what is it" Todoroki points down to Don "What is it Todoroki" he looked down seeing his classmate bruised and bloody wearing the vigilante outfit.
Don wakes up slowly looking around seeing a hospital room *where am I? * Don looks down seeing he is still in his vigilante costume *shit that's not good* a nurse walks in and sees that Don is awake and calls a doctor. A doctor comes in and approaches Don "hello are you able to speak" Don opens his mouth "yes I can" the doctor writes down on a clipboard "ok well I'm just going to do a check-up," The doctor does a check-up on Don.
"Ok you have been unconscious for 2 days in that time your wounds have almost healed your forearms and ribs are still healing but the rest of your body has made a full recovery" the phone rings in the room and the doctor answers. *Well, who else knows my identity Iida probably but I'm not sure who else knows* the doctor walks over "excuse me you seem to have some visitors" "Who?" "Hitoshi Shinso and Shota Aizawa" Don closed his eyes and sighed "yea let them in but I want to talk to Aizawa alone first".
The doctor nodded and left *I wonder how this conversation is going to go down? * Aizawa entered the room and walked over "So it's true then you're the Quirkless vigilante" Don looked emotionless at Aizawa "yea you got me so what's next jail?" Aizawa rubs his eyes "Well thankfully the media does not have your identity, but a couple of people know from yesterday" Don sat up groaning and holding his chest "who knows?".
Aizawa pulled out a list from his back pocket "Endeavour, Tenya Iida and Shoto Todoroki" Don smiled "well you are missing a couple of people from that list" Aizawa raises his brow "Before I tell you are there any punishments for the people who already know" Aizawa shakes his head "ok Mei Hatsume, Katsuki Bakugo and Izuku Midoriya" Aizawa writes this down "I guess Shinso is also going to find out then?".
Aizawa nods and writes down on the list "So have you had contact with Izuku after the USJ incident?" Don smiled "I would love to tell you, but I would rather divulge those details to a police officer" Aizawa shrugged "sure kid" "Oh Aizawa there is a bag under my bed in the dorms you will need that when you move me to the police station" Aizawa narrowed his eyes "what's in the bag?" Don rolled his eyes "a spare costume and mask".
Aizawa walks out signalling, Shinso walked in and to Don "So this is what you have been doing?" Don looks at Shinso with a slight grin "yea this was my job for a while" Shinso looks a bit confused "So what are your injuries" "they ar- "Shinso activated his quirk "what did you do 2 days ago after you left" Don looked like a zombie "I went onto a train to Hosu were I meet up with my master." "What did you do after you meet up with your master" "I followed him, and we got attacked but we won, and I had dragged the 2 we fought out to the street".
"What happened after" "I phoned an ambulance and got blindsided by a Nomu where I got beaten severely" Shinso looked at Don worried but Don started to smile again "you know that only works for so long" "When did you break out?" "When you asked the first question". The pair talked a little about the school when Aizawa returned with a bag in his hand "here" Don struggled to stand but got up eventually grabbed the bag and walked into the bathroom.
"What did you give him?" Aizawa looked at Shinso "a spare outfit so we can move him to the police station without revealing his identity to the public" Shinso looked down *so he really is going to prison* Don walked out of the bathroom with his spare outfit on and put his hands out in front of him "What are you doing?" Aizawa asked looking a bit confused "Oh I thought you were going to cuff me are you not?" Aizawa deadpan replies "no" Aizawa wraps his capture weapon around Don.
Aizawa walks out with Don wrapped up a bit and Shinso by request of Aizawa walked back to the Dorms, Don gets escorted to the nearest police station and is put in an interrogation room *jeez this room is freezing you would think they AC in here* while Don was looking around the room a man in a plain-looking overcoat and suit pants sat across from him "Hello my name is Naomasa I will be conducting the questioning and what would you like me to call you since we don't have an official name for you?" "You can call me Emote," Naomasa writes something down and continues with the questioning.
"Ok Emote how long have you been a vigilante?" "About 3 years" *true* "Do you have any connection to the League of Villains?" "Yes, I do" *true* "Can you give information on any person from the league?" "I don't know much about any of them just their names and descriptions but before we continue, I have a question for you" Naomasa looks up from his notes "what would that be?" "What do you know of an Izuku Midoriya?".
