The Power of The Quirkless Ch 12
Allmight sat there with Don talking about his dream for a while all about the specifics of what happened, but he had to cut the talk short as Allmight being a teacher now had to prepare for classes. Don walked back into the dorms meeting up with Shinso (this is the last day before the students come back from internships) and just takes a day off of all the constant fighting and life-threatening situations hanging out with Shinso.
The day came and went, and it was back to regular school times Don got up and dressed *Ok back to normal school* He walks out and is met with Bakugo standing in front of his door on the other side of the hallway "what the hell happened to you it looks like you were hit by a bus?" Don chuckles a bit "I will tell you after school" Don walked to class and the day went as normal as it gets in a hero school.
After the school day, Don gathers Bakugo, Uraraka, Denki, Shinso, Mei, Iida and Shoto in his room "Now you only have to stay here for a bit I just have something I have to get off my chest some of you already know this but for those who don't know I am the Quirkless vigilante" Don pulls out his Vigilante outfit. Denki and Uraraka gasp but everyone else just looked at them Denki notices and asks, "seriously we were the last ones to know!?".
Don nods "that's not all though I was in Hosu a couple of days ago at the same time as the Nomu attack where I made an appearance with stain the hero killer" Ochaco interrupted "wait Stain!?" Don nods "yea I forgot to mention I work with stain, well worked with him any way I met Iida while in my vigilante outfit. Stain spared Iida and Native, so I dragged them out to the sidewalk and called an ambulance this is where I was taken by surprise by a Nomu and had to fight one by myself".
Denki asks, "did you win?" Don looks at Denki condescendingly "I'm going to take that as a no" Don continues "I went toe to toe with a Nomu but as soon as my abilities started to drain, I got wrecked by it." Todoroki asks "So why did you become a vigilante in the first place" Don sighed "well it all stems from the constant neglect and abuse from my parents who treated me like trash once they found out I was Quirkless, being bullied by classmates in my other school and I wanted to prove myself to those people who treated me like trash".
Iida pulls off one of his gloves making the S scar visible "Being near the monster, stain and almost dying is the scariest thing to happen to me and if it was not for you I would most likely dead so I am willing to keep this secret" Don looked at Iida and could see the sincerity in his eyes "thank you Iida" the rest of the group say the same thing about keeping it secret although Ochaco is hesitant she also agrees.
Don claps and rubs his hands together "right I should get started on the dinner I will see you guys in an hour" Don gets up and leaves the room, Bakugo speaks up "if any of you speak about this to any of the others there will be hell to pay" Bakugo leaves shortly after saying that and the rest are standing in Don's room processing the information when Ochaco asks "Can we really trust this I mean he could do something to us or the teachers"
Todoroki walks past Ochaco and stops at the doorway "If he really wanted that he would help the villains at the USJ, but he didn't he went and faced off with Midoriya" Ochaco was about to say something but Todoroki continued "And there is the fact that he helped me in the sports festival by forcing me to use my fire" Ochaco looked down in thought. Denki put his arm over Ochaco's shoulder and said with a happy smile on his face "yea and there is the food he made for us when we are having a bad day".
Everyone looks at him a bit confused "Wait you didn't know that was him every time we were having a bad or hard day, he would make our favourite foods" Denki walks over to his mini-fridge and cupboard which had the ingredients of all their favourite foods. Mei folds her arms "Oh he can cook as well is it good?" Shinso nodded "yea it's pretty good I can tell him your favourite food if you want?" Mei's eyes light up "that would be great my favourite food is chocolate" Shinso smiled "right I will tell him, anyway we should leave it's pretty weird being in his room without him being here" The rest of them quickly shuffle out of Don's room and go do their own things until dinner is made.
The next day the exams were announced by Aizawa and that they would be taking place in 3 weeks in those 3 weeks Don was dead set on improving his longevity with the aura's (usually he can last 3 minutes with his blue and red active and 6 minutes with just one active all over his body) so he decided to pair up with Bakugo training his red by taking a constant barrage of explosions and training his blue by attempting to dodging them point-blank, While he was training with Bakugo he could notice out of the corner of his eye that Kirishima kept looking over at the pair of them but Don could not tell why *is he watching Bakugo's power or does he still not trust me?*
The day of the exams came, and everyone was told to get into their hero outfits they all arrived outside of a fake city and Aizawa with a couple of other teachers were standing there "alright so your practical is going to be us" the class was surprised "WHAT!?" Aizawa coughed "like I was saying you will all be paired up and you will fight one of us and to make things fair we will all be wearing weights equal to half of our body weight".
Don stood there *I wonder who I'm up against most likely Allmight since I can outspeed a lot of these heroes* Aizawa called out the pairs and who they were fighting "And finally Donovan and Bakugo you will be fighting Allmight" *knew it I guess it sucks I'm last though* "Bakugo we will have to make a plan" Bakugo nodded. It took one fight for them to come up with a plan and so they watched the fights.
Mostly all the fights are the same and come out with the same results Shinso was paired up with Sero and essentially the same thing happened in the anime except that Shinso was able to brainwash Midnight after Sero was put to sleep. Finally, it was Don and Bakugo's turn they both look at each other and nod Bakugo shot off to the right and Don walked down the street he looked around to see where he would come but he gets too distracted, and he gets blown away from a massive blast of air rushing towards him.
Don gets up feeling a stinging in his chest *jeez guess he is not going easy* he sees Allmight land in front of him "WELL VILLAIN TIME FOR YOU TO GO" Don activated his blue Aura all around his body and red only in his fist slamming it into the stomach of Allmight which takes him by surprise stepping back a bit "uh oh you let your guard down Allmight" Don pulls his arm back and gets in his fighting position.
"Good shot young man but don't get cocky!" Allmight rushed back with a series of punches, the teachers in the observation area are watching Midnight says "he might be going too far Aizawa" Aizawa had his hand on his chin "I have watched this kid and I'm pretty sure Allmight has yet to land a clean hit" Midnight looks back at the screen Allmight was indeed still throwing punches "how has the kid not been launched back yet!?" Aizawa points at the screen "keep an eye over here" Midnight does and every couple of seconds she could see the blue aura.
Midnight's jaw dropped "he's fast enough to dodge all those punches" Don is dodging Allmight attacks *let's see if he notices this* while Don is dodging, he punches Allmight's wrist breaking the weights which Allmight does not notice. Don immediately notices a difference in Allmight's right arm's speed and he is barely able to dodge it *now that is something* Don continues to dodge jumping and sidestepping his punches looking for an opening *there it is! *. after Allmight throws a left Don quickly goes on the offensive attacking Allmight forcing him to start blocking.
Midnight is watching this surprised "did he just put Allmight on the defence?" Aizawa smiled a bit before hiding it "yea it looks like that", Don was hitting Allmight with as much as he could but could not land a proper hit *it's time* "NOW!" Don screamed and Bakugo came flying out of an alleyway with a sly grin on his face "I got you Allmight" Bakugo pulled the pin on his gauntlet which sent out a massive explosion.
Bakugo held his arm which was stinging a bit *a bit more than expected* when the smoke and dust cleared all he saw was Don on the floor with his arms covering his chest *shit did I miss* Allmight came from behind "that was a good shot Young Bakugo but not strong enough" Allmight gave a powerful shot to Bakugo's stomach and grabbed him by the face, Bakugo in response started shooting at Allmight's chest which made Allmight slam Bakugo into the ground.
Bakugo was barely conscious and was looking up at Allmight he grabbed his foot and kept using his explosions "YOUNG BAKUGO I LIKE THE FIGHT IN YOU ITS COMMENDABLE BUT I THINK THIS IS OVER" Don gasped for air after waking up and coughed violently "Done I don't think so" Don struggled to stand and was slightly hunched over his right arm grabbing his stomach. Don activated his red aura around the part he was covering and his hands with his blue covering his body under his red.
Allmight walks over to Don who is standing normally now "FINE" Allmight started to fight with Don again but this time Allmight was landing hits and they were starting to hurt sending Don out of his blue state his outfit was starting to rip and tear and Don had blood coming out of his mouth "IF YOU DON'T SURRENDER I WILL HAVE TO CONTINUE AND IN YOUR STATE IT MIGHT GET BAD" Don stood there looking over Bakugo "you might be right" Bakugo coughed and lifted his head to see Don "Don don't you dare give up heroes never give up no matter how bad it is they never surrender so man up and fight".
Midnight was covering her mouth in shock "Aizawa we need to stop this it's too far" Aizawa shook his head "No Allmight has this under control and anyway he still has his weights" Don looked at Bakugo and fully powered down nothing around him and Allmight stopped "This is the end Don" Allmight pulls back and punches but hits nothing *huh!?* Don was seen dodging surrounded by a pink aura and speak softly "thanks Bakugo now let's win this" Don smiles.
Bakugo smiles back and slowly gets up "Plan B" Don nods Bakugo turns and starts blasting to the exit gate Allmight attempted to move but Don got in his way with a calm purple aura around his body and a roaring red around his Hands "let's finish our dance" Don put up his hands and started attacking he quickly broke the rest of Allmight's weights and jumps back. Allmight refusing to be put on defence starts throwing punches.
Don watches the first attack, but the punch is much slower than before *did he get slower? * Don took the opportunity to counterattack punching Allmight square in the jaw which throws him up in the air a couple of feet. Midnight facepalms "Aizawa what is this kid first he was only able to dodge now he is full-on countering him what's going on" Aizawa lazily rubbed his eyes "I'm not sure but I have one theory".
Don is standing there in shock *did I just get him properly* Allmight gets up holding his jaw "DAMN KID THAT HURT" Allmight rushed in to attack but he could not land a punch and was getting countered every time so he went faster and faster eventually going as fast as he did against that Nomu in the USJ and started kicking up dust managing to put Don on the back foot almost being able to hit Don until a loud siren blared.
Both Don and Allmight were standing there heavily breathing Don smiling *good going Bakugo* and finally collapsing unconscious. Allmight coughed up some blood a wiped it away *Damn that kid is something else* Allmight lifted Don and walked out seeing Bakugo sitting by the gate "Well done young Bakugo" Bakugo looks up at Allmight and stands up quickly "is he ok?" Allmight nods "yea nothing recovery girl can't fix come on let's get back" the pair get a lift back to the UA Bakugo goes back to class while Allmight and Don go to recovery girl.
Don sat up in a weirdly familiar place he was in a crowd of people looking up at a giant tower that started pretty thick and slowly went thin with an observation dome at the top *huh last time I saw something like this it was* A giant explosion could be heard coming from the tower *shit why I am this far back right if my thinking is right that old guy is over in this direction*. Don quickly dashed down an alley, put on his vigilante outfit and ran away from the tower.
Don counted on his hand and finally stopped climbing a building *thank God I learned how to do this early on* Don reached the top seeing a man in a trench coat, combat trousers, boots and a black half bandana half mask. Don gasped heavily *I forgot how much that takes out of me* the man stands there with a sniper rifle looking at Don "So are you another crazy that I will have to beatdown?" Don shook his head "no you can think of me as a guide anyway I know your plan and it won't pan out if you don't take the shot Knuckleduster".
Knuckleduster narrowed his eye's and turned to aim at a man standing on a rooftop looking at the tower he shot but his aim got messed with and he only got his shoulder Don facepalms "you missed well this is going to hurt" the man got hit by the bullet and it looked like he disappeared and reappeared beside Don and Knuckleduster. Don put his hands up ready to fight *he's a lot faster than I thought well time to get my shit rocked*.
Don stood his ground and the other 2 started talking *do they know each other* "and who are you, stranger?" Don looked at his clothes noticing this is his very first proper outfit a blue jacket with blue jeans "Does my name matter" Don saw that the man's bullet wound is starting to heal and that he had a massive scar over his face the man shrugged "I guess your right" and rushed Don sending a barrage of punches his way.
Don could not dodge or block any of these hits and with the sheer force he was sent off the side of the building *Fuck that hurt* Don patted himself looking for something *Come on where is it where is it* Don finds what he is looking for and pulls out a grappling hook shooting it at the building he was standing on swinging up and around landing behind the man with a scar "you pack quite a punch don't ya but this is over" Don ran towards him and charged his aura's before being cut off by a voice coming from behind him.
The area around him turns to smoke and everything turns black "No no no that's not how it happened how did you even do that" *that kinda sounds like Gang Orca* Don is spinning looking for who is speaking the area around him slowly turns into the moon as he can see the earth "So either my brain is dying or I'm crazy" the voice spoke again "both are wrong" a plume of smoke manifests beside him.
Authors notes:
So Dons Powers has been a bit all over the place in this chapter but this will sort it out
Blue/sadness – increased stamina and speed
Red/Rage – Increased power and durability
Pink/Happiness – increased reaction time
Purple – blue and pink mixed
Black/? -?
With the pink power he can react as fast as he can move and it mixes with the blue power easily but the time limit is still there were using more of his powers shorten the time. He has also learned how to control where the auras are on his body for example the Red only being on his hands which gives him a longer time limit.
With the blue, he can usually move fast but still only think at a normal pace but with the pink mixed in he can now think as fast as he can move (it's like O'clock from the Vigilante's series). The Allmight and Don fight Don was going all out while Allmight was still holding back a considerable amount he was using about 60% which is mental but Don was essentially running on adrenaline normally he could fight Allmight at 40/45%.
