Anyway, the staff was meant to be this incredibly powerful weapon that could bend others to their will when combined with the cube itself! But if you ask me…I thought we were digging into powers that we fully didn't understand…
Present Day…
You know when you are tired…exhausted…in the need for some relaxation? Where do you think the players go after a long football match? They go into the players lounge at the very back of the stadium.
Roberto was currently lounging around on a comfy sofa, with his girlfriend all snuggled up to his chest feathers. As the two of them were enjoying a really peaceful moment together.
Well…I say peaceful for Roberto…but Jacqueline of course immediately felt a certain iffiness as a certain someone made a little noise.

"EWWW! Beto?! Did you just fart? That's absolutely disgusting!" Jacqueline wheezed while waving a wing in front of her face to fan the smell away.
"Sorry! That was the banana that I had for lunch!" The muscular blue male blushed as he stood up to wave the smell away. "Whoooo! You know what they say? Better out than in!"
"Well as a lady, I say that is absolutely disgusting! You could have at least waited a few seconds!" She giggled in response and narrowed her eyes at him.
"Oh come on sweetie? Nobody else makes that much fuss after passing gas? It's a natural body thing? Unless you want me to get trapped wind and fart a whole lot more in the day?" Roberto remarked while chuckling at the thought of it.
"Oh no! Just the one time is bad enough!"
"I thought so! Anyway, have you been okay lately? You've been very quiet the last couple of days?" Roberto laid back down on the sofa, and motioned with his wing to get her to come back over. "Come on! Come here! Time to open up on what's on your mind!"
"Look Beto…it's supposed to be a secret! I promised Jewel I wouldn't say anything!" Jacqueline giggled and blushed a bright red as she walked back over to him and went to snuggle with her boyfriend, but he backed away slightly playfully. "Beto? Put your wing around me!"
"Sorry honey! Not until you tell me the secret!" He chuckled playfully as he intended to keep messing with her, but she didn't find this amusing at all.
"No! I told you it's too embarrassing!"
"You never told me it was embarrassing? You just told me that it was a secret? Come on! If you tell me your secret…I'll tell you a secret about Blu?" Roberto responded with a cheeky smile as he gazed at her.
"Really? Blu? How do you know a secret about Blu?"
"Let's just say when Blu mocked Alex about how big his muscles were compared to his, he told me a few secrets!"
"Okay, deal!" Jacqueline beamed, as she sat up on the sofa, with her boyfriend eagerly sitting opposite her as he was about to hear what the secret was. "So…Jewel a few days ago was watching Blu work out in the middle of the field. So she starts to drool on the metal beam she was standing on! Anyway…as she continued to drool, she accidentally slipped on her saliva and fell off of the beam and landed head first onto Dominic who was doing push ups and knocked him beak first into the dirt! Hahahaha!" Jacqueline burst into laughter with Roberto as well, and they clapped their wings as they thought it was hysterical.
"Oh my god! That is absolutely hilarious! She didn't hurt herself did she?" He asked in concern while raising an eyebrow.
"No, but Dominic had to go and see Tiago, he had a little bruise on his beak! Okay, now you go!"
"Okay! Okay! So Blu was doing a dance for Jewel in their tree hollow, and he accidentally tripped on the vine that was on the floor and he put his head through a hole in the tree!" Roberto laughed again with Jacqueline and their smiles widened as they enjoyed sharing secrets…a little too much!
"You know what would be fun? We should share more secrets that we know about everyone! Do you know any more?" Jacqueline suggested as she smiled warmly at her boyfriend.
"Oh…I know a LOT of secrets! How about you?"
"I know a lot too! What's the funniest one that you've not told me?"
"Oh, okay! Here is one about Tomada! Did you know when he took Sorrel out on their first date as a couple, he took her to a stream in the jungle! And where Sorrel was relaxed and didn't pay any attention to what was going on, Tomada started splashing some water on his face. But then Sorrel called out his name to ask him what he was doing, and he was so scared that he slipped off the side and landed face first in the water!"
"HAHAHAHAHA! Now that was a good one!" Jacqueline remarked while giving him a high wing. "Oh! Here's one about Cabot!"
"Go for it!"
"I remember the day that he saw princess Jamison again, when she was asleep in the nest next to him. He felt like he was going to pee! But instead of peeing far away from the nest he decided to do it out of the hollow entrance! But the worst thing was, the pee had landed on a poor yellow macaw who had been picking flowers for her husband!"
"Ohhhh no! That poor girl! What a dingus Cabot was hahaha!"
"That's not nearly as bad as what…"
"Hey guys? What are you two doing?" Roberto and Jacqueline both turned around to see Apollo approaching them with a cut on his right cheek, and a bruise on his nose. "I need to relax! Bia should really learn how to use a staple gun!"
"Speak of the devil…" Roberto whispered to his girlfriend and gave him a fake smile.
"Oh my god are you okay?" Jacqueline asked as she started rubbing the barn owl's back.
"I'll be alright! Bia still needs to know how to hold a fucking power tool, what are you guys talking about?"
"Well…we, are sharing secrets about our friends! Wanna piece of the action?" Roberto proposed as he offered a place next to him.
"Oh! Oh! I wanna play! I wanna play!" Suddenly Keith and princess Jamison walked into the room and joined the trio of birds.
"Jamison? Where is Cabot?" Apollo asked as he started scratching his head.
"He wanted to help Eva out with the kids, while Martin and Douglas have just finished their turn! So…you guys are sharing secrets?" Jamison whispered quite intrigued, as Keith pulled over a few stools for the others to sit on.
"Yeah, you guys got any good ones?" Roberto asked the three new birds in the room as they all started gathering around.
"I have one about Apollo!" Jamison raised her left wing and started giggling…making the barn owl gulp nervously.
"Okay, you have to tell us now!" Jacqueline got very excited and began tapping her talons.
"Alright! So Apollo was sat on top of a roof of a hotel in the city…"
"Oh no…" Apollo silently whispered as his worst nightmare was about to replay in his mind.
"Oh yes! Anyway, he was incredibly drunk after the battle in the Amazon! So he's just sitting there minding his own business, when another owl lands besides him. Another barn owl believe it or not!"
"Okay! Okay! I think they might have heard enough about this one already! Please someone else say something now?!"
"So this owl starts to flirt with Apollo! Alex was nearby with Siax and watched this whole scene from the tree overlooking the hotel. After a few moments you can see the two of them kissing!"
"Ooooh…Apollo got some action with a lady! Nice!" Keith beamed as he went to give him a high wing.
"Now I know what all of you are thinking? Apollo isn't the kind of bird to just start flirting and makes out with girls. And you are absolutely right, Apollo is definitely not the type of bird to just start flirting and makes out with…Girls?" Jamison spilt the last part with a bit of emphasis and widened her eyes at the last minute…that could only mean one thing!
"HUAAAAA! YOU KISSED A GUY?! HAHAHAHAHA! OH…MY…GOD!" Jacqueline burst into laughter and started rolling on the floor. Whilst everyone else in the room also couldn't control their laughter and started tearing up in laughter. Making the barn owl just growl at them in annoyance.
"In my defence…I was really drunk…and he was a very pretty guy!" Apollo blurted out in annoyance and continued to shake his head in annoyance.
"HAHAHAHAHA!" Roberto and Keith hugged each other in laughter as the two of them bashed their wings up against the wall.
"Okay! You wanna play Roberto?! Let's play! Once, when Roberto raced Jewel on lily pads in the Amazon, he slipped on the leaf and face planted into a tree!" Apollo blurted out in aloud voice, making everyone in the room immediately turn their attention to Roberto and continued laughing.
"WHO TOLD YOU THAT?!" Roberto blurted out in a panic as the blue male felt really pale. Jacqueline just started rolling on the floor with tears in her eyes from laughing so much.
"Jewel told me!"
"Awww man!" Roberto sighed in annoyance while rubbing his face in frustration.
"Oooh, I know one about Jamison?" Jacqueline spoke up, and started mischievously rubbing her wings together.
"Oh really? And you know this how?" The female black owl spoke up as she started to feel nervous.
"Jaime told me!"
"Oh dear god…" She instantly thought of what she could be saying…and she started to feel very anxious.
"Jamison had a wet dream about Cabot having sex with her on top of the leaning tower of Pisa!" Jacqueline blurted out with the widest smile, causing everyone to laugh again.

"WHAT?! PFFFFFFFT!" Apollo blurted out hysterically and rolled on the floor with Keith, while the princess just narrowed her eyes at them. "HAHAHAHAHA!"

"Hey? As long as we are sharing secrets…can I share another one?" Jamison asked as she rose her left wing.
"Sure? Why do you look so nervous?" Jacqueline responded as she saw that Jamison was feeling a little anxious.
"Hey guys? I think I might want to go do some push ups outside for a bit, but this was fun!" Keith remarked as he looked at Apollo and shook his head. "I cannot believe that you kissed a guy!"
"Oh fuck you Keith!" Apollo growled as he crossed his wings.
"No thanks, I don't kiss guys!" The barn owl responded as he left the room, leaving the samba birds snickering a little bit.
"Actually…This is better now that Keith is gone?" Jamison remarked as she started chuckling nervously. "Because part of the secret has to do with him?"
"Okay? What's the secret?" Roberto wondered as he wrapped a wing around his girlfriend.
"He…asked me out? About an hour ago?" She finally responded as she looked at al her friends faces, who just gazed at her in disbelief.
"Really?! Keith?! What did you say?" Roberto responded quite shocked, as the barn owl male only just joined the group.
"I said no, because I'm kind of with Cabot! I don't want to hurt his feelings!"
"But I thought you said your relationship was basically at a friends stage at the moment?" Apollo pointed out as the blue spix's macaws nodded their heads in agreement.
"I know! But like I said, I don't want to hurt Cabot's feelings? Because I still feel like that there is something in between us!"
"Well if I were you Jamison, I'd go and talk to Cabot before anything does happen! Because if he doesn't want to be more than friends with you, you could see how it goes with Keith?"
"Yeah you're probably right! Well, come on Apollo! Let's leave these two lovebirds alone!" Jamison beamed as she left the room, followed by an annoyed Apollo who just felt awful about all those secrets being shared.
"I can't believe Apollo kissed a guy? That's so crazy! You know what? We should tell Martín and Douglas that? Then they could mess with him?" Jacqueline suggested while giggling mischievously.
"That's a pretty good idea! Anyway, how about you and me have a little…kissing ourselves?" Roberto suggested as he arched a curious eyebrow. Causing Jacqueline to smile seductively at him.

"Yeah, if we ever get it back that is? But that banner looks pretty hot!" Douglas remarked as he picked up a rainbow coloured banner, which had the letters LGBT on it surrounded with glitter. "Hey? Check this out!"

"I don't know? Is this a sign that symbolises Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transexuals? That's actually really cool!"
"Yeah! We should keep this for any future parties we could throw? You know? Cos we deffo need some more friends who have the same sexual preferences as us!" Martín beamed as he placed the banner next to them as they started looking through the closet.

Martin felt really touched by these words, and he started to tear up. He touched beaks with his boyfriend in a loving embrace and closed his eyes as he relaxed in his soft warm wings.
"Oh Dougie! How the hell did a big flirt like me, manage to just get the most amazing bird in the world?"
"I don't know? But I'm gonna actually ask you a question. Other than myself, what bird are you like…really attracted to? On a more emotional scale rather than just a sexual scale?"

"Kinda disappointed!" Both of them beamed in feminine voices and chuckled together while laying back and relaxing.
Both of them laid down on the ground and looked up at the sky, and just sighed in happiness. Enjoying being in each other's company.
"See? This is what I wanted for us Dougie! For us to learn to have fun, and enjoy a little harmless flirting every once in a while! But…one thing I can guarantee will never change between us!" Martín whispered as he laid his head on his boyfriend's chest.
"What's that babe?" The military male asked the green winged macaw, who cuddled up closely to him.

Let's Finally Take A Look At Carla, Bia And Tina…
Now we are going to head back to the changing rooms now, where Bia was making all of the weapons with Apollo earlier that day. Before the little incident with the staple gun that caused the barn owl to leave the room in a hurry.
The young blue female chick was currently working on a new weapon for RDJ, as his bow had completely disappeared after it fell from the cliff.
She was trying to make him the perfect weapon! But she was having a lot of stress in her mind, as she had no idea on what kind of weapon he would want to use.
"Ughhhh! Why is this so difficult?! I want to help make something…unique?! Strong?! Stealthy but deadly? Anybody got any ideas? Because clearly my brain isn't working!" Bia shouted in a frustrated voice, throwing a piece of paper into the bin.
"Will you relax sis? You don't see our little brother panicking every time he has to stick a needle in someone's butt!" Carla remarked as she too decided to help out her sister, even though she had no idea on what to do. "Now…what was it I was supposed to do again?"
"You and Tina are supposed to be upgrading miss Florence's armour for her wings?! Did you not hear anything that I just said?!"
"Relax! Why so blue?" Tina joked and started giggling in amusement, only to be met with a slap from Carla. "Sorry! That one was in bad taste!"
"I'm sorry guys! I just never knew how to deal with this kind of stress before! How comes that Apollo makes this look so easy?" Bia cried as she threw her pencil on the floor and banged her head on the table.
Carla and Tina looked at each other briefly for a moment and then slowly turned back to face Bia with warm smiles on their faces.
"Hey? If anyone can build a new weapon…it is you!" Carla beamed as she patted her sister on the back lovingly.
"You…You really means it?" Bia opened up one eye and gazed at her as she wiped away her tears.
"Absolutely! Now…you said we should build him something stealthy right?" Tina added while joining her on the other side.
"Yeah?"
"So how about you worry about building him something to deal with our enemies? Then myself and Carla can make him an outfit? Like…Like…"
"An assassins robe? Like…what the Egyptians wore? Only with a hood rather that a burka?" Bia cooed excitedly and clapped her wings together.
"Exactly! Now, you get to building girl! Me and Carla will see if we can scout the locker rooms for something that we can use to make into an outfit!" Carla chirped as all three of them high winged each other, and immediately got to work!
I wonder what they are going to make for him?
Meanwhile…Under The Stadium…
"Come on you guys! Watch your step!" Devil Darkness spoke to RDJ and Lila, as he helped the blue and gold macaw male down the stairs. Even though after every so often he would feel a shooting pain in his talon.
"Mmmmm…Ow! Look…what are we doing down here? This isn't exactly where I pictured the staff would be?" RDJ winced, as he wrapped one wing around Devil Darkness, with the other wing wrapped around his girlfriend's shoulders.
"This my friend…is the vault!" He declared in the same dark tone, as they stumbled across some old door that looked like a solid brick wall. "Ta-da!"
"What the…is this some kind of joke?" What is this?" Lips asked in annoyance as she just stared blankly at a brick wall. But with some kind of symbol on it.
"No…I…I know that symbol?" RDJ remarked as he took a closer look at the wall, and his eyes narrowed while trying to read the words. "Work…In the dark…to serve the light…this is an assassin tomb!"
"Are you sure?" Lila asked in concern as she held him a little closer.
"I think so? But…hang on!" RDJ looked at the wall a little closer, and saw what looked like a small dent in the wall. "Lila, give me my knife!"
"Okay?" His girlfriend reached into his holster and pulled out a small carving knife. Then handed it to him with a very unsure gaze. "What do you need a knife for?"
"For this!" RDJ swiftly cut his wingtip, making him moan in pain a little bit. Then he dropped some of his blood on the seal in the wall. Then the most remarkable thing happened.
The wall started to glow a bright yellow, and all these lines had joined together in the shape of a man wearing a hood, and RDJ started to feel anxious to get inside.
"The hidden tomb! I knew it would still be here!" Devil Darkness remarked as he stood alongside RDJ and Lila.
Soon, the door just caved in and the wall crumbled like the debris of a burning building collapsing on the floor.
"Well, that's one way to get in?" The blue and gold male remarked as he took a few steps forwards and walked inside, with the blue spix's macaw female still holding him up as he walked. With Devil Darkness walking behind him to prevent him from falling over.
"Where do you think this leads to?" Lila pondered, staring around this huge room that was completely pitch black. "It's not exactly the brightest room?"
"Many centuries ago, my master Jair wielded the staff as an ancient weapon in the war! But it wasn't just a staff that could combine with the cube to bend others to their will, it was also used for its healing properties!" Devil Darkness explained, as they watched torches around them light up the room, making everything more clearer to see. "Unfortunately, the thugs found a way to equip the staff for themselves, and enslaved the assassins for many years! But only one bird didn't bend down to their will!"
"Jair?" RDJ suggested as they stopped in the centre of this huge vault.
"Precisely! Which means, you are the only one who's DNA can link to the cube as well as the staff!"
"What about his sister? She opened the cube?" Lila pointed out, getting a little more nervous now. Especially since she doesn't really know what to expect at this point.
"That was different! We managed to enslave Iris to be able to talk to the living! Whereas RDJ here, is the only one who is immune to its effects!"
"Great? So…where is it?" The blue and gold male asked as he glanced around his surroundings. "I can't see it anywhere?"
"Look up!"
RDJ and Lila looked up at this really steep staircase, and saw a huge staff sticking out of a rack. With a really bright shine around the outside.
"I don't believe it! It's…Its actually there?! Like my father told me in his stories!" RDJ beamed as he looked so eager to get his wings on it.
"Great! Let's go and get it!" Lila beamed, as she was about to help her boyfriend up the stairs. But Devil Darkness placed a wing on her shoulder to stop her from going.
"Unfortunately, he can only go up there alone!" He spoke in the same dark voice, giving her an apologetic face.
"But he can't walk? How is he supposed to get up there?"
"If you go up there with him, you will die! Because the staff will know that you aren't worthy to wield it in the tomb! RDJ has to do this on his own!"
"But…"
"Honey…Honey? It's okay! I'll be fine! You just stay here, and keep your eyes on me!" RDJ smoothly spoke to his beloved and gave her a kiss on the beak. "Okay, here goes nothing!"
RDJ turned towards the steep staircase, and he slowly started to climb them, as he struggled to walk. He found crawling up the stairs to be very easy for him.
He took his time climbing up each step, and thanks fo his big muscles, he managed to climb a lot quicker than he thought he would.
Lila stood there watching him climb up all of those steps, and she kept looking over her shoulder because she got very worried about him.
"Hey, Lila? Why are you so nervous?" Devil Darkness asked the blue female as he too started to look behind him. "There's nobody here?"
"I know, but the last time we were in an assassin tomb, Felix came and attacked the samba club! I'm just concerned that it could happen again!"
"But don't worry! Felix won't win the war this time?"
"How do you know that? You didn't see what he did to us! He could kill us all!" Lila argued back while crossing her wings.
"Lila…I've spoken to Jair myself! He knows that it is the prophet's destiny to kill Felix! Armando, Julio, Omar, Zenon, Nigel, Ano, Eli, Andre…everyone who you ever faced, they were all destined to fall! RDJ is the only one who can stop him! That's why we need to get that staff and protect it with our lives!" Devil Darkness explained as he placed a comforting wing on her shoulder. "Don't worry! I won't let anything bad happen to him! I am the guardian of the assassins!"
"Really?" She replied softly with a sweet smile on her face.
"You have my word!"
"Hey! When you two are done talking, I'd like for you to see this!" RDJ remarked from the top of the staircase, as he finally made it to where the staff was.
"Wow! That was fast?" Lila remarked excitedly as she clapped her wings together. "Okay, grab the staff! We need to get it to the outside!"
"Okay…here I go!" The blue and gold male approached this ancient weapon with determination on his face.
He took one good look at it before considering trying to pick it up. He saw the exact same symbol that was on the medallion that his father gave him. Meaning that they all must have been connected.
He extended his wing that he had cut earlier on, to sync his DNA with the object so he could pick it up with no problems.
But once he got his wings on it, the most incredible thing happened instantly.
The glow that surrounded the staff immediately started to submerge RDJ in this huge gleaming shadow. And he felt this glow run through his body like standing in a waterfall surrounded by water.
"Ughhh Devil Darkness?! What's happening to me?!" RDJ called out in concern, as he felt this powerful energy coursing through his veins. "I'm starting to feel stuff?"
"Just relax my friend! It's trying to help you!" He called back in response and started to smile warmly.
"What's happening to him? Is he gonna be okay?" Lila pondered I'm concern.
"The staff is healing him Lila! It's healing all of his injuries!"
"How is that even possible?" RDJ responded as he felt the glow leaving his body, and going back into the staff.
He started stretching his wings, opening band closing them in surprise. Then he looked down at his stomach, and noticed that the wound wasn't there anymore? And his stomach had completely healed.
"Oh my god…just as my dad said!" RDJ remarked as he started twirling the staff around in his wings. "This…This will help us win this war! We have to get this to the others!" RDJ remarked as he took the staff in his talons, and he flew back down to the ground where his girlfriend patiently waited for him alongside their new friend. "Devil Darkness, bring Jameson back! We need to show this to the others!"
"As you wish master!" Devil Darkness responded as he closed his eyes, and slowly changed the black owl's appearance back to normal, as he just shook his head from side to side, trying to remember what just happened. "What the…What happened to me?"
"It doesn't matter right now buddy! We gotta get this to my sister and the others! We cannot let this get into enemy wings! Do you understand me?" RDJ responded as he took Lila's wing and ran out of the room, followed by a confused Jameson who had no idea what just happened.
"YOU STILL HAVEN'T ANSWERED MY QUESTION?! RDJ?! RDJ?!"
Oh poor Jameson! He doesn't remember a single thing! Just like Helena and Alex when they too were possessed by the cube! Anyway, we had quite the chapter haven't we? We've had comedy, romance, drama, tension, adventure and thrills! But in the next chapter…we will be meeting a new character! Yay!
