A Tragic Back Story
I mean how much more tragic can someone's back story be? Before we do get into the back stories of Emily and Talita, we will miss be meeting another OC of an author on this site. Like I say I won't be announcing who's OC it is until the end of the chapter. All the more fun to see your reaction! Then we will also see Felix at the end of the chapter, as he already plans out his attack! Let's get to the chapter!
Somewhere Outside Of The Maracanã…
"Emily, are you sure that we won't get caught?" Blu spoke anxiously as they weaved in and out of the trees.
"Wow, Tomada was right! You do whine like a little bitch!" Emily remarked to the blue male as she jumped through a gap between two branches.
"Tomada?!" Blu whined again in annoyance, making the falcon chuckle.
"Sorry buddy, I was only warning her in case she tried to upset you!" The falcon responded with a smirk. Trying to keep out of sight with the others.
"Oh yeah…that's a good point! Hey Emily? Did I tell you about the time that Tomada slipped out of a tree hollow and landed in a pile of his own vomit?" Blu sarcastically blurted out, making the male falcon go pale.
"BLU?!" Tomada was really embarrassed by that story, and he managed to give him a little nudge while they were in the air. "THAT IS NOT FAIR!"
"That's not so bad! One time, Talita and I were in a bar in Amsterdam where we first met, and we got so drunk that night that we ended up vomiting all over this young couple who only just got married!" Emily giggled in response as they were edging closer to the tree hollow.
"Jewel had a similar incident the day she got pregnant with Rafael, Eduardo and baby girl!" Blu replied casually, edging closer to their destination.
"Baby girl? That's an unusual name?" Malcom spoke up while flying next to Tomada.
"Oh no, Jewel has the control to name our daughter! She just wants to wait until we find the perfect name for her!"
"Oooh, how about Chloice? To commemorate the two geese that you were in a threesome with?" Tomada answered sarcastically and started smirking and snickering.
"Oooh funny one! How about we name her footish? Like your huge foot fetish?" Blu argued back and did a little smirk of his own.
"HA! Good one! Maybe we could name her Jacqueline? You know, after the girl who stuck her tongue down your throat?"
"That was part of a game Tomada! We could name her wrecking ball?" Blu suggested with a cocky remark. Only for Tomada, Mason and Emily to give him weird looks.
"Why would you name her that?" Mason asked as he found that name really strange.
"You know, Cos of a huge falcon rocking themselves on top of a blue spix's macaw, wrecking her cloaca with a powerful crunch…"
"HEY! My wife is a harpy eagle buddy! And she happens to be a very gentle lover!" Emily remarked in annoyance as she hovered in the air next to Tomada.
"Yeah! And Sorrel loves me on top! I can give her a good time!" Tomada remarked as he gave Emily a high wing.
"At least someone here understands my language!" Emily remarked to the falcon who only winked at her.
"Too right sister!" He gave her a high wing in the air, making Malcom chuckle in amusement while Blu rolled his eyes.
"Well at least I don't have trouble in the bedroom…" Blu mumbled quietly, only to receive a slap from Mason. "OWW! I was only kidding!"
"Will you two stop arguing?! Where are your friends Emily?" The hyacinth male spoke quite annoyed at their childish behaviour.
"Here we are!" Emily announced as she landed just outside of the hollow. "Girls! Girls! I got us some help!" The scarlet female called into a hollow, as Blu, Mason and Tomada landed just outside of the hollow feeling quite anxious to meet them.
"Em? Is that you?" A female voice called out of the hollow, and she took a few steps out of the shadows and into the light. "IS THAT A FALCON?!"
"Why is it that's the first thing that others say when they first see me?" Tomada spoke in a bit of sadness, as Blu just patted him on the back.
"Alondra relax! He is a friend of ours! He is here to help us back to the Maracanã to help us beat Felix!" Emily responded calmly, revealing the scarlet macaw's identity as Alondra.
"Oh…Wait…Nightfly?! Is that you?!" Another bird came out of the shadows, limping slightly due to her injury. "Oh my god it is you! It's me?! Joyce!"
"Hold on…you're Joyce?! From the samba club?! Nightfly has told me so much about you! This isn't him by the way, this is Blu!" Tomada responded with a friendly smile as the two females in the hollow smiled back at them in response.
"Nightfly is in the Maracanã! I think he would be happy to see you again! I'm Mason by the way! I take it Emily and Talita have told you about me?" The hyacinth male beamed as he shook both of their wings.
"Oh…you are Mason?! Huh…" Joyce simply spoke as she looked at him up and down with a weird look. "It's weird, you look a lot more muscular than Talita said you would be?"
"Easy there! I've been working out a lot the past few years! Got to keep the wife happy, right?" Mason joked as the three females in the hollow just blushed deeply and laughed with him.
"Okay, we better get back to the others! If we are out here too long, we could be…" Emily was about to say, but she immediately got cut off from a booming voice.
"SHIT! IT'S THEM! IT'S THEM!" A voice cut them all off, and it revealed to be a scarlet macaw male with a very startled look on his face. "I GOTTA WARN THE OTHERS!" He beamed in a panic as he went to fly away. "FELIX! THOMAS! FELIXXXXXX!"
"Oh shit! Should we pursue him?" Tomada asked Blu as they watched this scarlet macaw flying away in fear.
"No…we can't risk any of us dying right now! We gotta get back to the stadium and get prepared! Looks like the battle is going to be put ahead of schedule!" Blu responded as he clicked his wingtips towards Tomada. "Pick up Joyce and let's get out of here! We need to bring her to Raul so we can take a look at her injury!"
"Copy that! Come on Joyce, hop on!" Tomada beamed as he quickly spun around and bent over.
She looked a little unsure at first because she didn't really want to trust predators. But as they have just been spotted, she didn't exactly have much of a choice at this point.
"Hurry Joyce! We gotta get out of here!" Alondra beamed as she flapped her wings and joined Blu, Mason and Emily in the air to prepare for their departure.
"Okay! Okay! I'm already on board! Lets go now!" Joyce called out in a panic, as she patted her new ally on the back.
"Alright! Let's move out! Now!" Tomada ordered his friends, who all nodded their heads in agreement, and proceeded to fly back to the stadium.
But what none of them were expecting…was the bird that spotted them…won't even make it back to Felix in time…
Let's Find Out Shall We…
"Oh my god! Oh my god! I can't believe I saw them! Hahaha! Felix is gonna be so proud of me! He's gonna give me a big promotion!" The young male excitedly spoke as he vigorously flapped his wings to get back into scarlet territory.
What he didn't realise…was that someone in a hood and cloak was following him from a few metres behind him.
"Huh?" He quickly turned around, because he felt some sort of dark presence behind him. But when he did so…there was nobody there? "What the hell? That's weird! Maybe I need a rest?" He thought to himself quite tiredly, as he landed on a tree branch not too far away from the assassins guild. And he took a deep breath to catch some much needed oxygen back. "Wow…I think I'm gaining some weight!"
Suddenly, a rustle in the tree branches above him made him quite suspicious. And he backed away a few paces because he started to feel anxious.
"H-H-Hello? Is there anyone there?" The male bird spoke to nobody in particular. As he just continued to gaze at the branches in front of him.
After a couple of seconds of complete silence, another rustling was heard from the branches behind him. And his anxieties started to increase.
"Thomas? If that is you…can you please stop fucking with me?" He angrily but fearfully shouted, as he backed himself into the tree. Where there was a single hollow sitting behind him. But it looked like it was completely empty…or was it?
"Screeeeeeeeech!" A loud high pitch scratching noise was heard on the inside of the tree, and the bird jumped up in fear as he didn't know what to expect anymore.
"OKAY! THIS ISN'T FUNNY ANYMORE! COME OUT AND FIGHT ME LIKE A MAN?!" The scarlet male screamed as he pulled out what looked like a ladle. (I'm not even kidding! He was given a ladle as a weapon?! XD)
"How about you get a grip young punk!"
"Huh?"
Suddenly a blue wing came out of the hollow and pulled the scarlet macaw inside, taking him completely by surprise.
"Wait…what are you…what is that thing? Wait…WAIT! ACKKKKKKKaaaaaaaa…" The scarlet male got stabbed in the stomach with an old looking spear, killing the bird instantly.
When the killer finished disposing of the scarlet macaw, they kicked the body out of the hollow, kicking him completely out of sight.
"Tell my brother I said hello!" The bird cockily remarked, as they flapped their wings and flew away from the hollow…heading straight for the Maracanã?
Brother? Who could this bird be I wonder…and why are they heading for the Maracanã?
Anyway…Back To RDJ And Nightfly…
"Dude? Are you done in the shower yet? I really need to talk to you!" Nightfly spoke up from outside of the men's showers.
"Hold on! Just got to clean Lila's juices off my stomach!" RDJ shouted back in response as he scrubbed the water on his feathers to clean the mess off. "I'm just disappointed that Lila didn't want to join me in the shower?"
"Oh yeah, that would have been better!" The blue male sarcastically responded while rolling his eyes. "Come on! Even I didn't shower that long when cleaning the shit off my feathers!"
"Was that after you shit yourself during sex with Tanya?" He joked while turning the tap off.
"Oh, haha very funny! Hey, remember the time you had to dress up as a female?"
"Yeah I remember that thank you very much! Do you also remember the time I broke your talon after you laughed while making a bad joke?"
"Sorry…that one was a bit harsh!" Nightfly responded with a bit of nerves, as the blue and gold male walked around the corner drying himself off. "Look, I do need to talk to you about this whole Devil Darkness thing that Jameson has!"
"Don't we all? It's a bit creepy if you ask me! He's already hit on all of our wives more times than Chris did!" RDJ chuckled with his good friend, as the two of them sat down on one of the benches.
"Seriously though, do you think that this…thing is trying to help us?"
"I believe so? If he says that he is the guardian of the assassins, then that means that there is no way that he is going to let us die."
"I suppose so! What do you think about the newcomers? Jewel told me she had to convince you to stop giving her death stares!" Nightfly chuckled in amusement, and started stretching his wings.
"What…Erm…what did she say to that?" RDJ responded a bit scared, because he was afraid that Jewel might have mentioned something about his intentions with Lila.
"That she will massage your wings or something like that? I gotta say…you got some balls to do that! Aren't you afraid about how Lila is gonna react?"
"Oh she will be fine with it! Just as long as she doesn't do any sexual flirtation then we should be alright!" RDJ was glad that Jewel didn't mention anything to Nightfly about his planned proposal. But was a bit ticked off about saying that she would massage his wings.
"Haha yeah! Well…Talita is in the middle of the field with everyone else waiting for her wife and friends to return! We better get out there!" Nightfly beamed as he jumped to his feet and walked over to the door. RDJ did lower his head slightly for a second, then looked up at him to say one last thing.
"Nightfly? Do you…think I'm overthinking this? About…Talita?" The blue and gold male asked with a pleasing face.
The blue male stopped in his tracks and looked over his shoulder slightly. "You have a right to have your own fears about others you don't know! But let me be honest…Talita? She doesn't seem anything like Zenon! So yes…I think you are overthinking this! Now come on!"
Nightfly left the locker rooms in a hurry, because he was keen to regroup with everyone else.
RDJ sighed heavily when he watched him leave, and pulled a note out of his holster. "Ughhh…I wonder if I should mention about Zenon to her? Hmmm…only if it's absolutely necessary!" The blue and gold male spoke to nobody in particular, as he pushed the doors open and left the locker rooms.
Now It's Time…To Regroup…With Everyone!
As mentioned, everyone was rounded up on the middle of the field by Jameson…well, Devil Darkness, Jewel and Alex.
Leona had to bring the kids with Siax because everyone had to stay together, because after what happened with the whole incident with Emily, they all felt safer to have the kids together with all the grownups.
Even though Leona wasn't exactly impressed with one of Eva's kids swearing every five minutes.
"Shit! Shit! Shit!" One of them kept cursing while flying over the hyacinth female's head…she was extremely irritated by this.
"Eva! Can you please tell Carlos to stop swearing? Why did you let Pedro play wit him?" Leona groaned while rolling her eyes in annoyance.
"CARLOS! ENOUGH WITH THE LANGUAGE!" Eva screamed at her son who just sat there and stared at her in fear. "That's better! Now go to your uncle Douglas!"
"Yes mom…" He cooed sadly before flying away from the irritated female.
"Thanks…you're a moron Pedro!" Leona called out and threw a grapefruit at the small party bird.
"Get in line! I've been hearing that all my life!" Pedro responded cheekily as Zara just giggled cutely. "But this little hottie ain't with me just my body!"
"We can all tell you she's definitely not with you for YOUR body!" Alex remarked with a cocky smile, making everyone in the group laugh.
"Yeah yeah! How's that head injury of yours?"
"What head injury?"
"The one you got from face planting into Cabot's butt?"
"HEY!" Both the snowy owl and black owl called out in annoyance as they both crossed their wings.
"Sorry…that was a bit too…"
"Can we just get on with this already? When is this Emily going to turn up?" RDJ blurted out to the group of birds in an annoyed tone. As he stood in the middle of all of them with a really impatient look. "The sooner we get this over with the sooner we can get back to planning!"
"Planning what bro? We haven't exactly planned much since we came here?" Iris spoke up in a bit of confusion as she leaned on Fernando.
He widened his eyes a little in surprise, and saw the blue and gold female smiling at him as he wrapped a wing around her in comfort…well…almost!
"DUDE! THAT'S MY SISTER!" RDJ called out in frustration, causing Iris and Fernando to quickly separate. "Iris? Is there something I should know?"
"Ughhh…I…ughhh…" Iris started stuttering in fear, and Jewel decided to interject while pulling on his wing.
"Come on mr grumpy! Come here a second!" Jewel giggled as she pulled the assassin away to the side.
This definitely gave Lila red flags, and she immediately became jealous because she should be the one trying to calm her boyfriend down…not one of her closest friends.
"That…little…bitch!" Lila started growling and clenched her wings tightly in annoyance.
"Ooooh…somebody is in trou-ble!" Jacqueline remarked in a really slow voice behind her best friend, who only nodded her head slowly. "Who you more pissed at? Your boyfriend? Or your friend?"
"Both of them!" She simply replied in an annoyed tone, and shook her head from side to side. "She should not be flirting with him…and he shouldn't be making faces at her instead of me!"
Meanwhile, RDJ got pulled aside by Jewel, and he wanted to know what was going on between Fernando and his sister. "Why didn't you mention anything sooner?" He asked her curiously while staring into her eyes. "How long have they been dating?"
"We thought you'd be okay with it?" Jewel nervous giggled and twiddled her wingtips. "It's not exactly like anybody is getting hurt? And only about a day…problem?"
"No! I'm just…It's my sister!"
"I know but…don't you think that she deserves some…romance?" Jewel softly spoke while continuing to twiddle her wingtips.
"Why do you always do that?" He rose an eyebrow curiously with an amused smirk.
"Do what?" She replied very confused while stopping what she was doing.
"Twiddle your wingtips like that? It's…kinda cute but weird!" He snickered a little and gave her a playful shove. This made Lila tighten her wings into fists, and she had the urge to just walk over there and do something about it, but Jacqueline held her back slightly.
"Cute? Huh…Blu never called that cute!" Jewel remarked with a smile lowering her wings to her sides. "Does Lila ever do that?"
"Yeah…I love that about her! She does the cutest little smile when she does it as well!" He laughed a little as he remembered the cute smile she used to pull when she got nervous.
"Oh yeah? You mean…this little smile?" The blue female formed a small little smile in front of him, and he chuckled softly.
"You better stop that now! If Blu was here he wouldn't be happy!"
"Wouldn't be happy with what? Doing…this?!" She smiled again edged a little closer to him. Making him laugh and step a few places backwards. "Come oooon? Does she do a little face like this?!" She giggled and playfully shoved him, and he just laughed along with her.
"That's it! I'm not taking anymore of this!" Lila growled as she shook her best friend off of her and started strolling up to her boyfriend.
"Uh-oh! Shit is legit gonna hit the fan!" Jaime remarked nervously as he held Lexi a little closer to him.
"Seriously Jewel, stop it you! Maybe we do enjoy a little flirt, but Blu would not be happy with this!"
"What about me?" A voice emerged from behind the two of them, and RDJ immediately gulped in fear and swiftly turned around to face a growling Lila.
"Oh…h-h-hey there Lila! Have I ever told you how beautiful you are when you're angry? Hehehe!" RDJ chuckled anxiously and twiddled his wingtips. Causing Jewel to chuckle slightly.
"Now who's doing the cute wing twiddling?" Jewel joked once more, still laughing at him cutely.
"Shut the fuck up Jewel!" Lila snapped at her friend, who immediately shut her beak and stopped laughing.
"Seriously honey…you look…beautiful?!" RDJ tried to smooth talk his way out of this…but it wasn't working this time.
"Well, it's a good thing! Cos you are gonna see this angry face for a little while! Why are you two over here?! Shouldn't you be with the rest of us?!" She angrily growled while crossing her wings. "Or are you two already planning an affair together?!"
"What?!" Both of them answered simultaneously, and started laughing with each other while Lila continued to stand there and glare at them.
"What are you talking about?! Jewel is married to Blu! And she is just a friend…"
"Just a friend Huh? Is that what this is?!" She rose her voice a little, causing the children to stop playing and stare at the trio of birds. "Because it seems to me that everything you just said to me earlier means shit to you doesn't it?"
"What's the big deal here Lils? I'm just calming your boyfriend down?" Jewel tried to calm her friend down, but Lila wasn't having any of it.
"You stay out of this Jewel! This is between me and my boyfriend! So why don't you go flirting with someone else while you're husband isn't here? I mean, that's what you love to do right?!" She snapped again and pulled RDJ to the side so that she had a clear view of the other blue female.
"Excuuuse me?!" Jewel hyped up and placed a wing on her hip. "Are you calling me a slut?"
"That's one way to say it!" Lila argued back as she stood in front of RDJ, who had now widened his eyes in surprise.
"Oh no…I sense dramaaaaa!" Martín femininely spoke to Jacqueline and Helena who nodded their heads slightly in agreement.
"Come on girls? Please don't do this now?" RDJ tried to control the situation, but it was out of his control.
"Don't worry RDJ, me and Lila are just having a conversation!" Jewel sweetly spoke to her friend and gave him a slight push away. "Don't worry, let me deal with this!" Lila of course wasn't happy about how she is making herself look stupid.
"HEY! DO NOT TALK TO MY BOYFRIEND LIKE THAT!" Lila screeched in rage as she slapped Jewel across the face. Making her fall flat on her back.
"Huaaaaaaa!" Everyone in the stadium paused in silence when seeing this little argument. And just stared at Lila in disbelief as Jewel was laying flat on the ground.
"Holy shit…" Jameson cursed as his girlfriend just hid behind him in fear.
(Ooooh…I like where this is heading!)
"SHUT UP!"
(Alright! Jeeeez!)
"Oh my god! Did Lila just slap Jewel?" Nightfly asked Dominic and Apollo, who literally just stood there staring at the scene worryingly.
"Oh no…this is definitely not what we need right now!" Siax sadly murdered to Alex, who wrapped a wing around her comfortingly.
"Lila? That wasn't needed! You know that Jewel was only being a friend?" RDJ simply replied as he lifted her off of the ground. "Are you okay Jewel?"
"Yeah…I think so?" She responded with a slight groan, and rubbed her sore cheek in pain.
"Honey, there is nothing going on between me and Jewel! I love you!"
"Then…why have you been smiling more today than I've seen you since I've known you?" Lila responded sadly as she lowered her head to the ground. "Don't I make you happy?"
"Lila? Do you think that I'm smiling because of Jewel being a good friend? No honey!" RDJ sweetly whispered as he lifted her head up with his wingtip. "I'm smiling more today because I saw your face for the first time in eight months! Which to me felt like eight lifetimes! And the sex we had…that was amazing!"
"Yeah…it was pretty incredible!" Lila giggled and blushed while continuing to stare at him lovingly.
"Baby…I love you so much! The reason why…"
"Hold on RDJ! I gotta say something!" Jewel remarked as she stood next to him. "Lila, I'm sorry that I came across like I'm flirting with your boyfriend! I'm not! Do you remember when I broke my talon, and RDJ came to see me to check if I was okay? And when he crashed into me when travelling to the samba club, then stayed with me to see if I was okay?"
"Yeah?" She replied with a curious look on her face.
"I wanted to return the favour! I felt like I should have been as good of a friend to him, in return for him being such a good friend to me! Please don't hate me Lila! I love you like a sister!"
Lila softened her expression and smiled sweetly at her friend and gave her a warm hug."I don't hate you Jewel! I've been overreacting! I'm sorry!"
"I'm sorry too!" When they both enjoyed their friendly hug together, where the blue and gold assassin smiled at this moment…someone however had to ruin the moment.
"HEY! WHEN YOU TWO ARE DONE FUCKING ABOUT, THE OTHERS ARE BACK NOW!" Pedro screamed at the two females hugging…and boy he doesn't ever learn does he?
"Fuck! Fucking! Fuckity fuckity fuck!" Rafael started swearing in front of the other children, and they all started laughing and swearing as well.
"Hahahaha Fuck! Shit! Hahahaha CUNT!" Blu and Jewel's youngest new daughter swore at the top of her lungs. Jewel immediately tensed up and felt like beating the cardinal up again. But…her husband pretty much covered it.
"DAMNIT PEDRO! I'M GONNA KILL YOU!" Blu screamed at the red crested cardinal who immediately stood there in fear. "HOW DARE YOU INFLUENCE MY CHILDREN TO SWEAR!"
In fact, Tomada had to hold him back while the others tried to calm the children down.
"Boy…this is gonna be a good start?" Emily remarked to her wife, who just nodded her head as the two of them rolled their eyes.
"OKAY EVERYONE! LET US BEGIN!" RDJ called out as he held wings with Lila, and Jewel just flew off to her husband who was still trying to cover Eduardo's beak to stop him from swearing.
After a few brief moments of silence, everyone sat down comfortably on the grass of the football pitch, as Emily made her way to the front and clapped her wings together.
"Okay…ummm…Hi! I'm Emily! Originally I was born in London! My parents were there on vacation and I hatched in London! I am a lesbian, with my beautiful wife Talita! And I am also very skilled as a doctor! So if you ever need any help guys, I am willing to offer my services!" The scarlet female beamed as she took a bow, with everyone clapping and waving their wings at her.
The next one to step up was Talita! And the harpy eagle was a little more nervous about speaking…because she was afraid about RDJ staring at her. But luckily for the female he kept a calm face, as he remembered what Nightfly and Jewel told he.
"Okay…ughhh…Hi! My name is Talita! I was actually born in Amsterdam originally! I lived with my mom and my dad! But then I met…the most incredible bird in the world! Who made me feel things that I thought I could never feel!" She smiled at her beloved as she grasped her on the wing softly. "After a while my dad got attacked by Armando's thugs! With myself and my mom hiding in the corner! They asked him to join their army to kill off any of the assassins in the city! My dad refused! So they KILLED my family! Right in front of my very eyes!"
"Oh god…" RDJ sadly whispered to himself as he wiped away a small tear. "Poor girl…she's been through more than I thought?"
"So I had to make a fly for it! Emily found me and managed to help me escape! But when we flew around the corner, we got ambushed by more of his men! We thought that we were dead!" Talita sadly whispered as she lowered her head in sadness. "But then…Mason…Mason saved our lives! Sent his best assassins to kill off the attackers one by one and getting us to safety!"
"It was nothing my friend! Anything for you!" The hyacinth make beamed, as Florence face him a little kiss on the cheek.
"Anyway…that's why we are here! We are here…to help kill the son of a bitch, who murdered my family! Thank you!" Talita took a bow herself and wrapped a wing around her wife, as the two of them shared a quick kiss.
"Oh my god…that's terrible!" Leona remarked in grief, making Sorrel and Siax pat her on the back.
Next one to step up was Alondra…she already knew what she had to say! Because she knew she didn't have much to say.
"Hey guys! I'm Alondra! I actually knew Nightfly when I was younger…"
"I thought that was you Alondra!" Nightfly beamed as he ran up to his friend and gave her a hug. "I'm so glad to see you!"
"I'm glad to see you too!" She beaker while kissing him on the cheek. "Anyway, I used to be part of the scarlet tribe in the Amazon…but after Armando mouldered Felix and Eduardp we had to make a fly for it! Especially since you our home was burned to the ground! So after some time I managed to escape the Amazon to São Paulo where I lived most of my life! But…Once I got there, I befriended a female green winged macaw named Joyce! But I'm not here to tell you her last, so let's let her speak! Thank you!" Alondra beamed as she walked besides her friends, and Joyce walked forwards and gave Nightfly a hug as well.
"It's so good to see you again Nightfly! I still haven't forgotten you!" Joyce beamed as she patted him on the back.
"I will remember you for a while! I'm glad to see you again too!" The blue male replied as he backed away from the hug. "The stage is yours!"
"Thank you!" Joyce beamed as she stepped towards the front of the crowd of samba birds and she took a deep breath and stood up tall. "Hi guys, I'm Joyce! I…am originally from Rio! I moved to São Paulo to start fresh because of what's happened in the club when Nightfly saved my life! After I moved to São Paulo I met Alondra on a night out in the city! But then after some time, the club was taken over by Julio and his Jongo Club! So we got out of there and escaped it! But then we bumped into Emily and Talita, who showed us how to survive and how to fight against the thugs! And now…I want to help you kill that piece of shit Felix! Thank you!"
After she finished her speech, everyone got up from where they were sitting and one by one they started shaking their wings to greet them…all but one bird…RDJ.
Instead, he just started tearing up when hearing all of those stories, and he felt incredibly sorry for what all four of them went through. So he thought it would only be wise, if he spoke to that one bird separately, to apologise and talk to her about…the note.
"I better ask her now…Before she gets herself in the firing line!" The blue and gold male beamed as he slowly and carefully walked up to Talita, and slightly tapped her on the shoulder. "Hey…ughhh…Talita is it?"
The harpy eagle female turned towards him, and she immediately felt nervous just standing there talking to him. "Y-Y-Yeah? Can I…Can I help you?"
"Listen…I need to show you something! It's important, but you cannot tell your wife!"
"What? Why not?" She asked in concern as she briefly looked over her shoulder.
"Because I know about your past with…"
"SHHHHHHH! Don't say it!" She covered his face with her wing and pulled him aside. "Come on, lets go to the place where you found me!" She whispered while flapping her wings to get away from the others.
"Well…this is gonna be an interesting conversation!" He thought to himself as he took one last glance at everyone…before slipping away to talk to Talita.
Lila watched the two of them leave, and she started to feel even more annoyed at him. Letting her thoughts and jealousy get the better of her. "Ohhhh no! You better not be doing what I think you are doing!" She followed him in pursuit…so she could overhear their conversation.
Meanwhile…In Marmoset Territory…
"Damn! Keith has been missing all day?! Where the bloody hell is he?! AHHHH!" Felix punched a hole in the wall and groaned in annoyance, pacing up and down the hollow.
"You know what master? I heard that went went to check out the Maracanã! But you know what? Maybe the samba club are hiding there!" Thomas remarked as he started trembling a little in fear, but Felix didn't exactly respond how he was expecting.
"I know that asshole! You think I'm stupid?" Felix responded as he threw his machete on the floor.
"Wait…you knew they were at the Maracanã and you didn't say anything?!"
"Relax Thomas! Relax!" His master beamed as he placed a wing on his henchman's shoulder.
"But…what about the samba club? We have to attack them while we can! We can end this!"
"And we will! But for now…just relax…train…and get ready! Because when I give the word…every local ego has joined us and every ally from around the world has joined us! We will finally end the samba club! And then…we kill the rest of the assassins! And then…the world…will remember…the bird who killed Leandro! FELIX! HAHAHAHAHAHA!"
Well now…A lot has happened in this chapter hasn't it?! Joyce returns to the story after so long! And I'd like to thank Nightfly for allowing me to use his OC Alondra! If you don't know who that is then I recommend you read Nightfly's latest story, it's amazing! The kids are swearing again thanks to Pedro! God…that guy needs to learn to shut his beak! RDJ is already trying to understand Talita's past…but what does he know that Talita doesn't want the others knowing? And he also got in trouble for his conversations with Jewel, and Lila even gave her a little slap! But I'm sure that it will blow over when RDJ plans to marry her! And Felix already knows about the samba club at the Maracanã! So what does that mean? It's only going to get more intense! As in the next chapter, we will find out Talita's dark secret, we will have a moment with Emily, Purita and Leona! Plus we will see what Nico thinks about Purita's new boyfriend Lucas!
