I assemble all of my friends in a few lines.
"Okay, we all know why we're here. This is the Villain Reformation Program. I am your President, Hadie. The villains on the Isle need to learn to be good, so we can all live in harmony. My Dad, known to most as Hades, will help convince the other villains to put their wicked ways behind them." I say as I get my clipboard. "Okay, today we have Maleficent, Evil Queen, Jafar, and Cruella De Vil. Any questions?" I ask.
"Yeah, can I come?" a voice says from behind me. I turn around.
"Of course, Ceilia." I say to the younger girl. She happily skips over to be next to me. Ceilia looks at my friend's faces. She sees something, and hugs me. I follow her line of vision, and see who she saw. Audrey. "Ceilia, she won't hurt you. She was bad, and now she's good. You're okay." I say, trying to soothe the younger girl. Ceilia nods. "If anyone tries to hurt you, or anyone in this group, they have to go through me first, okay?"
"Okay." Ceilia says.
"Great! Now that we are all on the same page, to the Isle we go!" I declare. We all walk to the Isle, me ahead of everyone.
Jane, Audrey, and Doug are talking about what they think the Isle will look like. Lonnie, Ben, Mal, and Uma are talking about the time Ben was captured. Evie and Gil are talking about fashion. Harry, Ceilia, and I are walking in front of the group. Harry wraps his arm around my waist, and Ceilia walks between us. I smile down at Ceilia who is pointing out various plants to Harry. I look out to see the bridge a few paces ahead.
"Stop walking." I say, and everyone stops. I turn around to face the group. "Okay, if they try to hurt you, just let me know. Audrey, I know seeing Maleficent might be hard for you, if you need to leave, Gil can show you around the rest of the Isle. Doug, Grimhilda will ask you if you are a prince, so don't feel weird or anything, EQ just wants a mother-in-law wing." I say with a smile. I turn to Dude. "Cruella is going to try and turn you into a fur coat. Let me know if I need to protect you." I spin around to face Ben. "Mom is going to try to curse you, you know, like when she tried to take the wand. Mal can protect you." Ben glares at me. I laugh. "Let's blow this popsicle stand." I say.
"That's my thing." Mal says with a laugh.
"Yeah, but we're twins, so your thing is my thing." I reason. We walk across the bridge. I spin around after we walk across the bridge. "Uh, Mal? I forget where Mom, Jafar, Grimhilda and Cruella live. Help, please?"
"Of course, sis." Mal says. She leads us to the villain's hideout. I open the door, ready to face my worst fear. I take a deep breath. "MOOOOOOOM!" Mal calls.
"MOTHERRRRRRRRR!" I call.
"Dad?" Jay asks.
"Mom? Mom?" Carlos asks the thin air.
"Mommy!" Evie calls. I walk farther into the… house? I begin to inspect the furniture. I see the fridge with the magnets that say 'revenge' on them.
"Malef-izard!" I call. I see movement, and my hair begins to become fiery. "Come out little lizard! I mean, Mom." I say. More movement. I spin around. "Who's there? You are currently messing with a goddess." I say, a figure starts to materialize. I see horns and know it's mom.
"Hi, Mom." I say.
"Mal, Jay, Carlos, Evie!" Mom says, she spots Uma, Harry and Gil. "Uma, Harry, Gil! All of the evilest in one spot." Mom says, ignoring me. Evil Queen, Jafar, and Cruella come down the stairs.
"Who's this?" Jafar asks, eyeing me. I smirk.
"The name's Hadie, lady of the underworld, goddess of the dead. Hi, how ya doing?" I say, my normal introduction. Mom looks over at me.
"Hadie? I hardly recognized you. You've grown since I last saw you!" Mom says.
"Yeah, I came to apologize for what I did all those years ago. I should've never left. you're not the best Mom ever, but I need you in my life." I say.
"I've waited for that! I saw you tearing up the Isle, and knew you would come back to your mama." Mom says, leaving me slightly confused.
"Yeah… well, I wanted to introduce you to my friends, well all four of you." I say. I start introducing my friends to the four villains. "Let's start with Audrey, daughter of Sleeping Beauty." I say. Audrey waves. "Not your typical good guy, you know? Next we have Doug." Doug waves. "Dopey's son, and Evie's boyfriend." I state. The Evil Queen looks shocked. "EQ, don't worry, Evie has a castle." I reassure the woman. "Then there's Jane, Fairy Godmother's daughter and Carlos' girlfriend." Jane waves. "Oh, and Dude. Carlos' pet dog." I say. Dude walks up, and I pet him.
"Not earmuffs, Mom." Carlos says.
"Then we have Lonnie, Mulan's daughter. I think she's Jay's girlfriend, but I'm not sure." I say. Lonnie waves. "Then, of course, King Ben or Ben. Mal's boyfriend." I say. Harry walks up to the villains. "Harry, no." I say. Harry ignores me. "Harry!" I say, he still ignores me.
"I'm Harry Hook, Hadie's boyfriend." he says, holding out his hand for a handshake.
"Bad idea, Hook boy." I say, leading him back to the group.
"I thought we were over that!" Harry pouts.
"You, my boyfriend, are a giant toddler." I say.
"Love is weak." Mom says.
"You mean strong." Evie says.
"Without love, we wouldn't be here. Love is so, so powerful. Love can make a man blind, make friends hate each other, and make a war break out." Mal says.
"Mal is a poet now." I say. All of my many friends laugh. Mal glares at me.
"Hadie! That was unnecessary." Mal says.
"I'm the queen of unnecessary. No, the goddess." I say with a grin. Mal rolls her eyes.
"How are we even related?" Mal asks.
"Well, we are. I'm awesome, be glad, not mad!" I say. Mal rolls her eyes again. I laugh. "Well, you evil parents, you are probably wondering why we are actually here." I say, turning to the villains. "I started a villain reformation program, and we are here to help you be good. I understand you don't want to, but it is so worth it! Being good empowers you to do anything you want to do." I say. The villains look disgusted.
"No? Jafar, you don't want Agrahbah to accept you again? Evil Queen, you don't want to learn about true beauty? Cruella, you don't want to learn… about dogs? Mom, you could make things right between yourself and the Rose family." I say, pleading with them. "Please?" I try.
"Hadie is right." a voice says from the doorway. I turn and see Dad.
"You need to stop showing up unannounced." I say with a glare. I walk over to him and give him a big hug.
"Hades?" Maleficent asks.
"No, it's actually Mother Gothel." Everyone looks confused. "Yes, it's Dad!" I say to the dumbfounded group. A collective 'Oh' was heard. "Now, Dad, why don't you tell everyone about being good? Then, maybe, I'll feed Cerberus." I say, knowing how much he hated feeding Cerberus.
"Fine." Dad says, then launches into a speech about being good. I start to play with fire, literally. I light my hair on fire, shoot fire out of my hands. "Hadassah of the Underworld, stop." Dad says.
"Huh?" I ask, then realize what he was talking about. "Oh, oops." I say. Everyone laughs at me. I scowl. "Okay, well, I have to get up to Mount Olympus before I do anything else. That has been put off way too long." I say.
"Can I come?" Mal asks me.
"Sure." I say. Harry walks up next to me.
"Can I come, too?"
"Hmm… fine." I say jokingly.
"Can I come, too? For Mal?" Ben asks.
"Everyone who wants to come can come." I say, even though I didn't want all of my friends to come for the first time. This must have shown on my face, or Harry wouldn't have spoken up.
"How about we go up there after Hades, Hadie and Mal work it out with that side of the family?" Harry asks.
"Yeah, that sounds good." Ben says. Everyone nods. I leave with Mal and Dad, then I go to Mount Olympus.
