Chapter-5 Rae, code names and confessions
Kierra didn't want to wait on whoever commander Fox was so she started walking to the exit because she just wanted to get to her room and relax. She doesn't know when the next time she will have fun like she did when she was toying with Ahsoka. Something tells me we will meet again but is it true, does she? Kierra was thinking about when she saw Ahsoka's vision. It can't be its just a dream she had its not true.She stopped when she made it outside. Well looks like I'm going to have to find out and maybe do some research. "Are you Kierra?" She was so focused on trying to figure out the togruta she didn't see a clone that had walked up to her. "Depends." "Who is asking?" not knowing if the clone chose to ignore the question or didn't care he continued speaking "The chancellor requested that you are to be escorted to your destination.
She knew there was more that he wasn't saying so she tried to get him to say more. "How can you be sure that's me it could be someone that looks familiar." Just wanting to get this over with he introduced himself. "I'm commander Fox and I know its you because the chancellor alerted every clone in the Coruscant guard that you are high priority. Well so much for being under the radar. She hesitated to ask but needed to know who else knew about her. "Who else knows about me?" "Just the senate and Coruscant guards, now if your done asking questions I think there is somewhere you have to be."
Kierra then remembered why she was leaving in the first place before she got distracted. "Yes, I do thanks for reminding me and you're the one that is taking me there?" "Yes, the speeder is over there." She looked to where he was looking and saw the speeder, she was riding in. "Well let's get going." As they got in and was on their way to the 500 Republica it was silent the whole way because she didn't want to upset him and didn't know what to say so when they got there she got out and looked at the building. Man, that is huge but since I'm here might a well thank him for taking me here.
She turned back around to Commander Fox who was still in the speeder. "I want to thank you even though you didn't have to drop me off you could have sent someone else to do this." Before she could leave, he got her attention. "Hey kid I know it was a rough start but since we might be seeing each other a lot because of what the chancellor wants us to make sure you are ok maybe we could work things out later just kind of busy today and can't be late to things plus some of my brothers wanted to meet you but it doesn't take that many of us to escort you, it's like you have your own clone battalion without even going through the ranks."
She smiled at what he said. "Also, I did have to drop you off even if I'm busy because good soldiers follow orders, anyway I'll see you later I already know you have the floor and room number you just need to get the key to your room." With that he, when Kierra couldn't see him anymore, she went inside and headed to the front desk as soon as she got there, she didn't even say anything they just handed her the room key like they were expecting her but she didn't mind the less talking there is the faster she could get in her room. She went to the elevator and got in and was waiting patiently soon as it got to her floor she got out and started looking for her room.
As she found it, she could sense that someone was in her room. She was confused because she was pretty sure this was her room. She knew the only way to find out who it is was to go inside. She entered and saw someone she thought she wouldn't see again. "Kierra?" "Rae?" She was surprised to see Rae because she thought she wouldn't be able to visit. "What are you doing here shouldn't you be working?" "I am." Kierra looked at her confused. "The chancellor asked me to help him watch you when you aren't around him or the guards and because he noticed you where only talking to me and keep this between you and me, I don't think he knows what he is doing and its going to be hard for him because he is always busy so will only have a few minutes to spend with each time he does." Kierra knew she was right but didn't let it really bother her. "If he will be too busy to spend time with me, I always have you to spend time with." Rae smiled as she said that. "How about you go freshen up and after you are done then we can talk." Kierra nodded and some different clothes that Rae bought for her and got in the shower, fifteen minutes later she got out and put her dirty clothes in a basket and went back to Rae. "So, what do you want to talk about?" She was pretty sure that Rae was going to ask about her trip but she didn't want to assume and decided to ask to make sure.
"Well how did you little escort trip go did you give them any trouble?" Kierra sighed "This might take a while so you might as well get comfortable." As Kierra said that she knew it was going to be a long but good story. Seeing she was ready Kierra told her everything from leaving the orphanage to meeting the chancellor to where they are at now but she left out the part about a certain padawan he ran into just to be safe. After that they talked about other things and she noticed the sun was going down. She had a few things to tell Rae but wasn't sure about the outcome of them.
"Rae, I have two questions that I am unable to answer but I'm usually but I don't know the answers to these." Rae saw that she was struggling on the inside but on the outside, it looked like nothing was wrong. "Should I tell him about my powers now or later because I was thinking if I told him later, he would send me back." She knew this was hard for Kierra to tell someone because she barely trusts anyone. "It is up to you that's all I can say but whatever you choose I will support you." Kierra smiled.
"Now what was second question about?" Kierra grew quiet she had almost forgotten she had said two until Rae reminded her. She hesitated. "Well, I saw something, a vision from reading someone's mind and we had a little chat." Rae wasn't satisfied with that answer so she pushed a little more. "You read people's mind a lot way before we came here what makes this one different." She was about to respond to her but then she thought about when she met Ahsoka.
. jedi aren't supposed to form attachments. She quickly looked down. "This one was different it felt like I could trust them." Rae was confused Kierra never acted like this except for that one time but ended up getting hurt because they had gotten adopted and they both promised that they would try to find each other when they got out but it has been years and she could tell that Kierra was hurting over the years, but then that reminded her if she is acting how, she was before she got hurt. "So, who is this person that is on your mind?" Kierra looked up in shock wondering how she is figuring out things without her saying anything. Rae smiled "Don't give me that look the only reason I know you are thinking about someone is because you are acting the same way you did when you were with that Twi'lek at the orphanage and you both would always talk about leaving together until they got adopted."
Kierra sighed "I know but I have to move on because that was years ago, besides this person made the first move." She didn't tell her that Ahsoka was following her or what happened when she caught her following her. Rae looked at her strangely. "What?" Rae knew that since Kierra looked pretty, she would attract a lot of attention. "You said they made the first move?" Kierra was about to nod her head but Rae started talking "Well their ether bold and don't care you are an Anzat or don't know you are an Anzat and will be in for a surprise." Kierra was not paying attention to her and said her thoughts out loud. "Most likely the first one" Rae gasped. "What!?" Rae was not going to let this go at all as she smiled and Kierra knew what was going to happen. "What is their name Kierra?" Kierra knew she had to play smart or Rae would find out. "Not telling."
"Why I mean if you like them then its only fair that I know who it is." "Rae, I don't like them and I'm not telling you. "So, you love them. Kierra hesitated "So you do love them." Rae laughed "I don't love Ahsoka." Before she could stop herself, she had already said her name, Rae stopped laughing and got quiet. "So, it's the chosen one's padawan you like. Kierra tried to deny it but Rae didn't want to hear it "You're cheating on a Twi'lek for a Togruta?" "Rae it's not like that and we aren't together." Kierra tried to tell Rae but kept talking. "So, you love both of them, I don't think that will work because I'm pretty sure Togruta are very possessive over certain things and I'm pretty sure they don't like sharing if said thing or person is very close to them." "Rae!" "Now that I think about it how does that work An Anzat, Togruta and a Twi'lek." "Ew Rae that's not going to happen." "Kierra, I said you were gong to get adopted and I was right just think about it you, Ahsoka and Ale." "Rae don't say that name or finish that sentence."
"What you know it is true because most of the time when I say something will happen to you and its good it happens." Kierra knew that she was right even if she didn't want to admit it but she hoped that the other two would not meet each other and that Rae would be wrong this time. Kierra sighed "You want to go back to the senate building I need to thank the chancellor for giving me a wrist commlink and holo communicator and a chance to be able to do something in life instead of staying in the orphanage." Rae knew she was just trying to get her to stop talking about the three. "Sure, I'll come with you since there isn't anything else to do besides someone needs to keep an eye on you but I'm not going in with you I'll just stay outside the door and wait for you and don't think I'm going to forget this talk."
"That's fine with me now let's go." As they grabbed their things and went outside, they managed to get lucky as there was a speeder already waiting, they told the driver where they were going and were off. The ride was silent but she enjoyed it because she didn't talk that much to people she didn't know when they go to the senate building the driver told them he would wait for them to take them back and they wouldn't have to pay on the way back which they were glad for. When they got inside, Kierra noticed it was still busy but not busy as before. She made her way through the building knowing where to go because she memorized which ways the guards went when they were escorting her.
A few minutes later she made it to the chancellor's door but didn't see any guards standing by the door like they were before. "I'll try to make this quick as possible so we can get back to the room because I'm tired." Rae nodded and Kierra took that as the go ahead sign and she went in and didn't have to knock because she wondered why she would have to if she was a Palpatine also, she made her way in and heard voices and the room was dark so it would be hard to see unless you were a few feet from each other. As she looked to were the chancellor sits, she saw a hooded figure but she was lucky he couldn't see her.
"Everything is going as planned master it won't be long before the jedi come to the planet's aid." "You won't have to worry about the jedi for a while Darth Tyranus if General Grievous plays his card right with they ship he has been given then everything should go as plan wont you Grievous?" Kierra was surprised at what she was hearing she didn't know that that they were talking about the war the because she hasn't heard anyone talk about it. Why does he and the other two he is talking to have code names, he must be playing a game or something and does he have contacts or something because his eyes weren't yellow before." "Good we don't need any setbacks or else the plan won't work." With that the other two disconnected from the holo communicators.
As soon as they disconnected the lights turned back on but at a dim level, she saw his eyes change back and instantly knew that they weren't contacts. He has to teach me how to do that. She was so caught up in the moment she didn't notice he spotted her. "How much did you hear and see?" She saw that he looked worried about something but didn't know what it was. "I hear plans about a ship, something about jedi and code names how come you have a code name you playing a game with those two or something. She saw his face relax a little. "I came here for two things but now I have a question also. Kierra didn't really care about what see saw she just wanted to thank him for giving her an opportunity to do something in life
"I just wanted to say thank you for the commlink and holo communicator and also for giving me the opportunity to do something in life other than stay in the orphanage." She hesitated "also I was wondering if you know anything about being able to move things without touching them." He looked confused at first then knew what she was talking about "You mean the force?" so that's what it is called. "Yes, and I wanted to tell you now instead of later because that is another reason why sometimes I would get sent back. Palpatine looked more interested. "So, you are force sensitive." Kierra nodded. "I can train you to get better or have someone else do it."
She was happy that she got to work on getting stronger with using the force but she would have to tell Rae why she is leaving a lot. She hesitated again before asking. "Before I go can you teach me how to do change my eye color like you did?" "That is part of the training." She was wanted to learn before she left but she was glad that she still gets to do it in training. "Ok, I guess well bye." As she left, Sheev Palpatine knew he had to be careful. I got lucky she doesn't know about the war yet but she will and I still couldn't sense her with the force, this youngling is a strange one but I she is part of plan B If everything doesn't work

A lone figure stood next to a house they managed to build and if needed has a stealth ship, she felt something that hasn't been felt since that day they were separated. "Kierra you finally made it out of that place." She smiled "I hope you haven't forgotten about your favorite Twi'lek because I will find you."
