We arrived at Poseidon's palace...

It was beautiful, there was a faint glow around it as if it were surrounded by magical boundries, which I reminded myself probably was the case, the castle was a typical greek palace with a huge entrance having a triangular roof thingy with lots of pillars probably called hypostyle, and I am pretty sure the triangle thingy is called pediment , anyways, the pillars had a vertical line design on it with really cool leaf things at the top, greek corinthian columns (if you had an architect maniac for a girlfriend, you'd remember all of these names too). The colour of the stone was a creamy sandish colour (I don't know a lot of colour names), which reminded me of ice cream sticks for some reason. Inside of the castle was even breath-takinger (is that a word? I don't know)

The floor was light sea green with a streak of glass in the middle so you could see through it, the walls were illustrated with modern abstract paintings some as small as a coaster others as big as a complete wall, there were potted sea corals in different bay windows, it was nothing like an ancient place. Poseidon saw my dazed expression and said"We decided to keep the interior modern in the post war renovation, do you like it?"

"Like it? I love it!! Its awesome"

"Wait till you see the game room, its got a full size home theatre system with VR and a bunch of latest gaming consoles, you know the regular nintendo, X-box, Playstation but then there's waves-360 and hurricane-X is by far my favourite "

I have never heard of waves or hurricane as in gaming consoles, but based on my Dad's expression, they were to die for.

We arrived in front of a big door with a little trident logo in blue and it said my name in ancient greek "Περσεύς"The room was humungous with a door leading to a bathroom, a large king sized bed in the centre with blue bedding and comforter, the walls were white with a little sea shell print rug and a flat screen TV with sky blue recliners in front, there was a study next to the bed right in front of the window and all the furniture in the room was white with blue detailings "wow" I said as he lowered me on the bed.

"So you like it?"he said

"Are you kidding, how can I not ike this?

Everything is my favourite colour and matches the sea, it is huge plus there are no naked statues of my dad " I said with a sheepish smirk.

He grimaced as he sat down beside me" I hate it when they do that, you won't see a single godly groin in my palace"

Now let me take your temperature, the thermometer beeped

"104.2, gods that is high...I will have to give you some medicine, have you eaten anything?"

I blushed a little and shook my head. Dad ordered for some food and it arrived in 10 min, toast with some butter and ranch with chicken noodle soup. I ate half of it, Dad gave me some medicine and sat on the bed beside me, trying to give some sort of comfort, just when his lieutanent came and said he was needed for some work, he frowned and made to deny but I interrupted" Its okay dad, I will go to sleep anyways, you can do your work, I'll take care of myself" He was bit unsettled but left at last, and in truth I didn't want him to get punished by Zeus or have a row with his wife because of me. And I actually lept for a while.
