Riley POV

"Are we there yet?"Jax asked

"No"I said

"Are we there yet now?"Jax asked

"No"I said

"Are we there yet now?!"Jax said

"Jax please!"I shouted

"Sorry"Jax said

We all walked mindlessly

"So, where are we supposed to go? Where do we go next?"Lyra asked

"Well, the closest place is within an hour and it is the Tidal Basin"I told her

"Let's just hope we don't have to fight another monster, I haven't gotten any sleep since we left camp half-blood. I was just wanna rest"Logan said

"But we can't stop, unless you want the entire world to get wiped out in a war between the gods"I said

"Riley, we just need to rest, we haven't slept in a day"Lyra said

"Fine, how about this, if we find someplace comfortable at the Tidal Basin, then you guys can go to sleep for an hour"I said

"Wouldn't you need to sleep too?"Jax asked

"What are you taking about? I'm fine"I stated

"Riley, you can barely keep your eyes open"Logan said as I almost closed my eyes but I forced them open

"I'm not tired at all"I said

"Yeah, sure"Logan said

One hour later

"Woah, this place is awesome"Jax said

The Tidal Basin had many Cherry Blossom Trees and to us, looked like pretty comfortable grass and a large body of water

"Well, you said if we find someplace comfortable we could sleep for an hour, so goodnight"Logan said as he closed his eyes and his body fell onto the grass

"You know what to do, wake us up at 5:00 am"Jax said before he did the same

"See you in an hour"Lyra said before she did the same

"*sigh* Guess I'm alone now"I said as I sat down on the grass. "Maybe I should shut my eyes, at least for a little bit"

My eyes began to get heavier, I blinked three times, the first time I saw nothing, the second time I saw nothing, the third time I saw a woman and jumped up

Once I jumped up I got a more clearer look at the woman, she was plus sized and wore a denim dress with a chihuahua at her side who was growling at me

"Hello, deary. What are four adorable children doing sleeping on this grass?"The woman asked

"Um, we were just taking a rest, you see we haven't slept much the past day"I said before the chihuahua jumped at me and tried to bite me

"Now Sonny, you know it's not polite to jump at people like that"The woman said

"So, I like your chihuahua?"I asked

"Thank you"The Woman said before she noticed the bag I had. "Do you mind telling me what's in that bag?"

"Oh it's nothing, just supplies like food, water, first aid"I lied through my teeth

"Then you wouldn't mind me seeing then"The woman said as she went to grab my bag and I moved back a little. "Don't worry about me, I don't bite"

She went to grab the bag again but I moved back once more

"Give it to me!!"The woman's voice changed, her voice echoed and and it became for psychotic

"W-What are you?"I said

"Silly girl, you will give me the helm"She then began to change her appearance she kept her human head but her body became more snake like, her tongue turned into a forked one and her teeth grew into teeth, her skin and eyes then began to resemble that of a snake

"I don't have it, what are you?"I said

"I am your worst nightmare, get her sonny"She said and the chihuahua began to change as well

It began to grow, it's head turned into a Lions head, it's body turned into one of a goat, it had a blood-caked mane, and a ten-foot-long diamondback snake-headed tail which began to grow out of its shaggy behind

"That's not a dog, that's a Chimera, and if you can lord it sonny, then that's means you're Echidna"I said as I looked on with fear

"Kill her!"Echidna said and Chimera ran at me

I ran away from it as it tried to encase me in its jaws

The Chimera then shot fire out of its mouth at me

I used the shoes to fly up and dodge it

The snake tail launched itself at me and tried to bite me

I slashed my blade at it but it was too fast and I couldn't get it

I swooped down and slashed Chimera on its side and dodged the snake tail when it tried to bite me

I swooped down and slashed it on its other side and then slashed it on the forehead

Chimera breathed fire at me and I dodged it but then Echidna smacked me from behind and I fell and hit the ground hard

As I tried get up the snake tail bit me on the shoulder

I shouted as I fell back down to the ground

It then hit me on my leg, then side, then heel, then back, I stood up and I stumbled back until I was almost falling into the water

The snake tail leaped at me and this time bit me on my neck

This time I stumbled back and fell into the water

I began to sink into the water

Well, this it...I'm going to die, I couldn't save anyone, and everyone's going to die because of me

I closed my eyes and waited for my life to end...wait...something's wrong, water's not entering my lungs

I looked at the places where the snake tail bit me but it looked like it never even bit me

"Can I breathe underwater?"I said and judging by the fact that water isn't entering my lungs means I can breathe underwater

I then swam up and crawled out of the water

I looked up and saw Echidna and Chimera going towards, Jax, Lyra and Logan

I flew towards then and sliced Chimera's snake tail off

It cried out in pain and both of them turned towards me

"You!!"Echidna shouted

"Yeah! Me!"I said as I flew at them and sliced off Echidna's tongue before stabbing her in the eye

Echidna howled in pain

I then after dodging a claw from Chimera and sliced off Echidna's head

Echidna's head and body then disappeared

Chimera jumped at me and I flew up and dodged all breaths of fire that was sent at me before flying down and stabbing Chimera in the head before it disappeared in smoke

I took a deep breath and then saw Jax, Logan and Lyra getting up

"There's no way that it's been an hour"Logan said

Jax then looked at his watch

"Wow, it actually has been an hour, it was fun while it lasted"Jax said as he stood up

"Come on Logan, let's go"Lyra said

"Fine, where are we going now? Did you find a Pearl?"Logan asked

"No, I didn't find a Pearl, next...we have to go to Greece"I said as I looked at the map

"Greece, how are we supposed to get from Washington DC to Greece!"Logan said

"Wait, just let me see something"I said as I put the bag on the floor which was surprisingly not wet

I looked inside of the bag

"Oh my god"I said

"What is it? Holy *bleats*"Logan said

"Is that 30,000?"Jax said wide eyed

"And four tickets to Greece?"Lyra asked

"Wow, Adam thought of everything, this bag isn't just a place to store our weapons"I said as we looked on to see even more stuff in the bag
