I run a hand through my hair, when the music starts. I freeze in place.

"Did I mention that I'm in love with you? And did I mention there's nothing I can do? And did I happen to say? I dream of you everyday, but let me shout it out loud, if that's okay ay ay." Harry sings, his eyes locked on mine. He walked closer to me. "If that's okay." I raise an eyebrow. Harry looks right at me, his gaze never faltering. "I met this girl that rocked my world like it's never been rocked, and now I'm living just for her and I won't ever stop. I never thought that it could happen to a guy like me, but now look at what you've done, you got me down on my knees." Harry sings. I chuckle through my nose. "Because my love for you is ridiculous. I never knew-"

"Who knew?" I ask faintly.

"-That it could be like this. My love for you is ridiculous." Harry sings, making a heart. "My love is R-I-D-I-C-U-L-O-U-S!"

"R-I-D-I-C-U-L-O-U-S!" the crowd sings.

"It's-"

"Ridiculous!" the crowd sings.

"Just-"

"Ridiculous!"

"And I would give my hook for just one kiss." Harry sings. I laugh, Harry stands next to me, holding my hand. "Well did I mention that I'm in love with you? And did I mention there's nothing I can do? And did I happen to say? I dream of you everyday, but let me shout it out loud, if that's okay ay ay. Yeah! If that's okay." Harry sings, kissing me on the cheek. "I gotta know which way to go, c'mon gimme a sign. You gotta show me that you're only ever gonna be mine. Don't want to go another minute livin' without you 'cause if your heart just isn't in it, I don't know what I'd do." Harry's gaze never wanders from my own. "Because my love for you is ridiculous. I never knew-"

"Who knew?" the crowd sings.

"-That it could be like this. My love for you is ridiculous. My love is R-I-D-I-C-U-L-O-U-S!" Harry sings. I go to walk off the stage, but Harry spins me back around.

"R-I-D-I-C-U-L-O-U-S!" the crowd sings.

"It's-"

"Ridiculous!"

"Just-"

"Ridiculous!"

"And I would give my hook for just one kiss, c'mon now!" Harry sings. The music plays for a bit. Harry looks at me, but I don't wanna be in love, even though my heart is fluttering. Harry picks back up. "Because my love for you is ridiculous. I never knew-"

"Who knew?" the crowd sings.

"-That it could be like this. My love for you is ridiculous. My love is R-I-D-I-C-U-L-O-U-S!"

"R-I-D-I-C-U-L-O-U-S!" the crowd sings.

"It's-"

"Ridiculous!" the crowd sings.

"Just-"

"Ridiculous! The crowd sings.

"And I would give my hook for just one kiss, c'mon now!" Harry finishes. "I love you, Hadie. Did I mention that?" Harry asks.

"Yeah, multiple times." I say with a chuckle.

"Will you go out with me, Hadie?" Harry asks.

"I- Harry, I'm not sure if I'm ready to jump back in. I- I don't know." I cry. Harry takes my hand.

"You have all the time in the world. Take your time." Harry says. I take a deep breath.

"I need time to think this over, then I'll let you know." I say.

Harry smiles, and whispers. "I love you." I raise my eyebrows.

"Okay, that was uncalled for. Next track, please." The song starts to play. "If there's a prize for rotten judgement, I guess I've already won that. No man is worth the aggravation. That's ancient history, been there, done that." I sing, drawing a checkmark in the air.

The chorus joins in, "Who d'you think you're kidding? He's the earth and heaven to you. Try to keep it hidden, honey we can see right through you."

"Oh no." I intone, holding the note while the chorus keeps singing.

"Girl you can't conceal it. We know how you're feeling, who you're thinking of."

"No chance no way I won't say it, no no." I sing, shaking my finger in a 'no' motion.

"You swoon, you sigh why deny it oh oh." the chorus joins in.

"It's too cliche, I won't say I'm in love." I look up, and all I see is people in love. "I thought my heart had learned its lesson. It feels so good when you start out." Harry comes out of nowhere. I stare at him, before snapping back to reality. "My head is screaming 'Get a grip girl, unless you're dying to cry your heart out.'"

"Girl you can't deny it. Who you are is how you're feeling. Baby, we're not buying. Hon, we saw you hit the ceiling. Face it like a grown-up. When you gonna own up that you got got got it bad." the chorus sings, while Harry keeps popping up in my head.

"No chance no way I won't say it, no no." I sing.

"Give up, give in, check the grin you're in love." the chorus sings. I turn my grin into a scowl, and trip on my dress. Harry helps me up.

"This scene won't play. I won't say I'm in love." I sing, holding the note, and tensing.

"We'll do it until you admit you're in love." the chorus sings.

"You're way off base I won't say it. Get off my case I won't say it." I sing, still in denial.

"Girl don't be proud it's okay you're in love." the music plays, and Harry spins me into his chest.

"Ohhhh. At least out loud I won't say I'm in love." I sing, looking into his eyes. I look away as the music fades. "That's it, for now. The Knighthood has agreed to finish off the wedding. Good day to you all!" I say. Doug's band, The Knighthood, takes the stage as I leave it. An upbeat song starts to play.

"You are a wonderful singer. Who taught you?" Mom asks when I get over to her and Dad.

"I dunno. Mostly me being by myself for 71,462 years." I say.

"Don't be bitter, Hadie." Mom says.

"I'm not bitter. I just- I- nevermind." I say, shaking my head.

"Hadie-" Dad starts.

"It's nothing." I say, more firmly this time. I walk away to the food table. I stand there, thinking. I spend a few minutes by myself, then a slow song starts to play. I roll my eyes, and stand in a dark corner of the room.

"May I have this dance?" Harry asks from behind me.

"I don't dance." I reply. Harry walks away, and my heart feels heavy. I stand in the corner for some time, when the wedding ends. Mal and Ben make their way outside to the purple and blue limo waiting for them.

"Where's Hadie?" I hear Mal ask.

"Right here." I say, coming up behind the newlyweds. Mal gives a sigh of relief.

"You are in charge of Auradon while we are gone." Mal says.

"Auradon is in good hands." I reassure her.

"Don't get into any trouble." Mal says.

"I don't do that." I say. Mal rolls her eyes.

"Okay. Just- just keep everyone safe and happy." Mal says.

"I will. Go relax." I say. Mal chuckles.

"I will do that. Bye." Mal says, getting into the limo.

"Bye, guys." I shout as the limo leaves. I turn around, only to be faced with a bunch of cameras. "What? Do you really have to stick those in my face?" I ask. "First things first, Auradon, you are in good hands. Whatever you need, I'm here to help. That's my job." I say, upon realizing the cameras were live. "Second, get these cameras out of my face. Have a fantastic day. I will definitely see you in the Underworld." I say, walking away. I get back to Olympus, and fall asleep because a wedding is very hard work.

THE NEXT DAY:

Turns out being royalty requires more than a pretty face. I couldn't go to school today because these "royal duties" kept me busy most of the day. What's worse, Harry kept showing up wherever I went, begging me to say yes or no to his question. I just told him I needed more time.

"Hadie, Hadie." Herkie snapped me from my thoughts.

"I was listening." I say.

"I asked you how being the queen is going."

"Stressful." Herkie raised an eyebrow. "These "royal duties," so to speak, kept me busy all day, and now I have a bunch of homework." I say, running a frustrated hand through my hair. "I don't know how my day could've gotten worse, but it did. Harry kept showing up wherever I went. It was like he was stalking me."

"Maybe he was because you half rejected him in front of basically all of Auradon." Herkie says with sarcasm.

"Okay, that doesn't make it okay for him to stalk me." I argue.

"Hadie, just say yes to him." Herkie pleads.

"No." The door swings open, and Harry walks in. "Hello my stalker." I say.

"It's 'cause I'm yours." Harry says.

"No, you're not." I respond, rolling my eyes.

"Did I mention I'm in love with you?" Harry asks.

"Yes, multiple times."

A/N: AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW! They are adorable. By 'they' I mean Harry and Hadie (obviously). They are literally my favorite couple, and I used to have a lot of those! Like Bal(that's obvious, right?), Devie, Jarlos, Harry and (literally half of the cast-) Uma [Huma], Belle and Beast, Gil and Audrey- I could go on, but I think I've proved my point. My new favorites just-so-happen to not be anywhere in the Decendants franchise(except Bal), and they also just-so-happen to be in this book. I think this is better cannon than half of Decendants... that's gonna be an issue later. I know, I know, I should stop ranting, but I don't want to. I'm gonna go. Bye.
