I'm sitting in my room, just chillin' like the villain I am, when I get a knock on my bedroom door.
"Sorry, come back in the morning!" I call. The door swings open anyways, and in comes Dad. "Hi, Dad."
"Hadie, I know you might not want to, but you have to go with me." Dad starts. I furrow my eyebrows. "Zeus, in all of his glory, decided that we should have a family reunion! And it's tomorrow!" Dad says with fake enthusiasm.
"Nope, not going." I say.
"Either you go or you go." Dad reasons. I let out a sigh, defeated.
"Fine, I'll go." I say, rolling my eyes. Dad smiles. "Even though I don't want to." Dad rolls his eyes, and leaves. I go to bed. When I get up in the morning, I get up and choose an outfit. "Morning." I say to a few new souls as I walk past, still in my pajamas.
"Hadie, get dressed." Dad says, raising an eyebrow.
"But I don't want to." I argue.
"And I'm telling you to." Dad counters.
"Fine. Only 'cause I don't have anything better to do." I say, walking back to my room.
"Eh, it could be better." I say to myself in the mirror. I fix my bright blue hair, pushing it to the side. I look at myself in the mirror. I stare into my own brown eyes, and for the first time notice the resemblance in them. They look just like Mom's, and grandma's.
"Hadie! Harry's here to see you!" Dad yells, snapping me out of my thoughts.
"Coming!" I yell back. I look at myself one last time before running out of my room, and right into Harry's arms. "Hello."
"Hi, beautiful." Harry says.
"Ew, sappy. Gross." Dad says from behind me. I laugh.
"Oh, Dad?" I ask. Dad hums in response. "Can Harry come to the family reunion?" I ask; Harry gives me a confused look. Dad looks between us, contemplating. Finally, after about 10 seconds, he speaks up.
"Yes. Fine. Whatever." I smile brightly.
"Best Dad ever! C'mon Hook boy." I run to my room, dragging Harry behind me. I open the door to my room, and Harry lets go of my hand. He inspects my room for a few minutes, and I watch as Harry inspects it, an amused smile never leaving my lips. Harry straightens out, and turns to face me.
"Why am I here?" Harry asks. A smile grows on my face.
"We are here to get you ready for my family reunion, Don't worry, I've got this." I explain. Harry raises an eyebrow, and I teleport in materials. I use my powers to make him a red leather suit. Harry puts it on, and I fix my hair. I hear my bedroom door open and close. Harry appears behind me in the mirror.
"Aren't we a handsome pair?" Harry asks, placing his chin on my shoulder. A blush appears on my cheeks.
"Yes, we are." I say. I turn and face him. "Don't you look dashing." I say looking at his suit.
"An amazing young lady made it for me." Harry says. I bury my face in his shirt, embarrassed.
"I'm 71,469. I'm not young, I'm old." I point out.
"Yeah, you need to find someone your own age." Harry jokes.
"Will do, Hook boy." I say sarcastically. "Anyways…" I start, checking my watch. "We should get going to Olympus." Harry nods, and we walk out to Dad.
"You ready?" Dad asks. We both nod, and teleport up to Olympus.
"Hades! Hadie!" I hear as soon as we teleport up. Soon, most of my family has wrapped me and Dad in a hug.
"I… can't… breathe." I choke out. The other gods and goddesses let go of us. I look over at Harry, who has an amused smirk on his face. I raise an eyebrow at him, and I hear a voice from behind me.
"Hey, it did work out."
"Hi, Herkie." I say, not turning around.
"Hello, Hadie, and Harry." Harry waves to Herkie.
"Hey, Herk 2.0?" I ask, turning around. "What do you mean 'it worked out'?" I glare at Herkie, who glares back. Herkie takes a step towards me. And another, and another, until he was directly in front of me. Herkie playfully punches me. I rub my arm. "Ow. What was that for?"
"You can stop playing dumb, Hadie. You know what I'm talking about." Herkie replies. I scowl.
"I have more important things to do. Good day." I say, waving goodbye.
"Hadie. You know, Harry, Ally, love potion." Herkie says, stopping me in my tracks. I turn back around to face Herkie. My mouth forms an 'o' shape. "See, you knew."
"But I didn't know until you told me." I counter.
"But you knew." Herkie says.
"You are almost as impossible as Hook boy over here when I first met him." I say, jerking my thumb in Harry's direction.
"Hey, at least you love me enough to not kick me to the curb every ten seconds." Harry says, grinning.
"There's that, too." I reply. Harry walks closer to me. A few seconds later, I see why. Mal and the gang, including Gil and Jay, arrive. "Hello, peasants, er, people I will rule at one point." I say. Mal laughs.
"Hey, sis." Mal says.
"Hi, Malie." I reply. Mal wrinkles her nose in disgust. "Anyways, I see you brought some mortals with you. Did they wish to be under my rule, or did they just want to apologize?" Mal rolls her eyes.
"No, they're my family, too." Mal replies. I nod slowly.
"They were my family. Not anymore though." I say, glaring at a few of Mal's "family members." Mal raises an eyebrow. "Well, how 'bout we get this party started?" I ask, looking around. Uncle Poseidon steps up.
"What about my children?"
"Right." I say, dragging out the word. "We'll wait for them." I assure him. I stand there for a few seconds.
"Okay, Uma, my dearest… great niece? second cousin? Er, whatever relation we have, would you mind telling your mom and uncle to hurry up?" I ask, turning to Uma, who furrows her eyebrows. "I know, I know. I have all the time in the cosmos, but sometimes I'd rather be impatient." Uma laughs.
"How could anyone ever be mad at you?"
"I don't know. I make it pretty impossible." Both Uma and I laugh. I see a growing smile on Mal's, Evie's, Ben's, Gil's, and Audrey's faces. I see the smiling eyes of my ex friends, even though they are trying to hide it.
"Well, why don't you teleport them in, Hadie, while Mal turns them into humans." Uma suggests.
"Perfect." I say, turning to Mal. "C'mon sis." I say, and Mal comes and stands next to me. Mal's eyes glow green, and before I can think about it, I teleport in Triton and Ursula. "Dang it." I curse under my breath. They flip and flop around, until someone turns them into humans.
"Hadie, next time wait for a signal." Mal hisses.
"Sorry." I mutter.
"Hadie-" Mom starts.
"Hang on, Mom." I say, turning to Triton and Ursula. Triton peers at me, and Ursula glares at me.
"Who are you?" she snarls. I tilt my head to the side, a grin growing on my face.
"The name's Hadie, goddess of life and death, lady of the dead, princess of the underworld, daughter of Hades and Persephone. Hi, how ya doing?" I ask, my normal introduction present as always.
"Still Hades' kid." I hear Cupid say.
"Hey, Hades." I hear Megara say awkwardly from behind me.
"Hi." Dad says just as awkwardly.
"Stop being awkward. We're here to have fun, not bring up our pasts." I say, glaring around at everyone. "Plus, the past is past, forgive, forget." I add. Ursula and Triton apologise, Dad apologises to everyone, and I wait for apologies to fly my way.
"Hadie," Jay steps up. "I'm really sorry I didn't forgive you. If I had just pushed my pride aside, I could've been there for you. But I wasn't, and didn't. I'm sorry," he apologizes.
"You're fine, Jay. At this point, anything is possible." I say with a smile. I turn to the rest of my family, still smiling. "Do come on guys, let's make this the best family reunion yet!"
A/N: I'm sorry... I am going to mess this happiness up. Oops? Have agreat day everyone!
