I turn off the lights, and Sophie comes into my room. I smile at her, and climb into my bed. I fall asleep quickly, and Sophie licks my face before I fall asleep.

DREAM/FLASHBACK:

I'm sitting in Dad's "Greek" restaurant, and Harry stalks in.

"I'll get whatever." His accent rings through the quiet restaurant. I roll my eyes. Dad nods.

"Slow day today. Take a seat wherever." Dad says. I look over at the seat across from me, and Harry sits in it. I roll my eyes, again. We don't say a word to each other until Dad comes out of the back wearing a white, frilly apron with a bright blue cupcake. I stifle a giggle.

"You've got a big, tough dad, right?" Harry asks.

"Yep. He has a soft spot for me though." I admit. I don't know why, but I felt… safe- er. Harry laughs. An awkward silence comes between us, and Dad brings Harry his food. I look away as Harry snarfs down his food.

"Disgusted, princess?" Harry asks, smirking.

"Not a princess, and yes, I am, you lowlife." I respond. Harry rolls his eyes at me. Dad comes out of the back.

"I'll take that, and leave all of your money you have here." Dad says.

"Okay…" Harry says, taking his money out of his pocket and leaving it on the table. Dad beams.

"What a nice young lad." Harry grins. "Now, GET OUT!" Dad screams. I'm used to his screaming and yelling, so I just roll my eyes.

"Actually, I was wondering if I could have a word with Hadie." Harry says. Dad glares at Harry.

"About?" Dad inquires.

"Uh, uh… could I talk to you about it in private?" Harry asks.

"Sure." Dad grumbles, and they walk into the back. I sit in silence for a few minutes, the occasional muffled yelling reaching my ears. I tie and untie my blue boots at least three times. Dad swings the door open, and Harry has his hook next to his head.

"Okay then." I say.

"Sorry, Hadie. This vermin is disgusting." Dad says. I laugh.

"Can't even beat me in a war." I reply. Harry rolls his eyes.

"I could've if I wanted to, but, hey, you're just that good, missy." Harry says with a flare of sarcasm.

"Is that another war I smell?" I ask.

"No." Harry replies.

"Why don't you tell her Harry. I'll be over here." Dad says, going behind the counter.

"Uh… uh…" Harry starts. "I- I was wondering if you…" he trails off. I furrow my eyebrows. "Uh, I was wondering if you wanted to…" I roll my eyes at him. Harry shifted awkwardly on his feet. "Iwaswonderingifyouwantedtogoonadatewithme." Harry says.

"What?" I ask.

"I was wondering if you wanted to… goonadatewithme." Harry says.

"Repeat the last part again." I say.

"Go… on... adatewith… me." Harry repeats.

"A date?" I ask.

"Yes." Harry responds.

"I- I don't know." I say, looking away. My heart felt fluttery, and I felt all warm and fuzzy inside. I look back at his piercing blue eyes.

"Okay." Harry says. I could see the sadness in his eyes, but that was the only hint I got of his disappointment. Harry leaves, and I watch him go.

"Go tell him you'll go." Dad says from behind me.

"No."

"He seems okay enough, and your status here will become better." I turn and face Dad, a smirk growing on my face.

"You're an evil genius." I race out of the restaurant, and spot Harry threatening to "hook" someone. I wait until they scamper away, then tap Harry on the shoulder. He glares at me.

"I know, you don't want to go out with a lowlife like me." I roll my eyes.

"The opposite." I reply, looking him in the eye. "I didn't really think it was a good idea, but Dad told me it was okay." I say smoothly.

"I'll pick you up tomorrow for our date, dewdrop." Harry says as he walks away, grinning.

The next day, I'm pacing around the restaurant. Nerves fly through me. My first date. Ever. I sigh, and run a hand through my hair for the millionth time. I spot the gleam of Harry's hook. I let out a shaky breath. I spot Harry's red coat as he comes closer to the door. He leans on the door frame, and kicks the wooden door open. I roll my eyes at him.

"Hello, Milady." Harry says, taking his pirate hat off and bowing. I shake my head.

"Hello, Hook boy." I respond sarcastically.

"You ready, doll face?" Harry asks.

"Duh." I reply. Harry takes my arm. I glare at him.

"What?" Harry asks. "If by the end of the date, you decide to be my girlfriend, you'll have to get used to it." I roll my eyes.

"Whatever." We walk outside, into the street. "What do you have planned anyways?" I ask the hooked pirate. I look up at him, only to find he was already looking at me.

"You'll just have to wait and see." Harry replies. I glare at him. We walk out to the docks. I see a few people milling around. No, pacing. "These people are the people I threatened to hook." Harry states.

"Okay…" I say, furrowing my eyebrows.

"So, instead of hooking them, they have to put on a show for you." Harry says, looking into my eyes. "Then, I'll hook them." I snort.

"Fine by me." I say, taking a seat on the ground.

"Get up, little angel." Harry says. I stand up, and a throne-like bench is placed where I had sat down. I actually sit down this time, and those innocent people start to do a revised play of Romeo and Juliet. Revised because I was Juliet and Harry was Romeo. Ew. By the time we finished there, it was almost sunset. Harry leads me up to an abandoned building's roof, where we watch the sunset. "You were awesome down there, sweetkins." Harry says, breaking the silence that enveloped us. I nod.

"Thank you." I say.

"You are very welcome." We sit in silence for a few seconds. I know that playing Harry is a bad call because he seems genuine in his feelings, but I also can't crush him by saying I didn't enjoy watching that awkward play.

"Harry?" I ask, looking over at him, the golden light from the sunset shining on his face.

"Yes, buttercup?" Harry asks. I wrinkle my nose.

"I- I think I want to be your girlfriend."

"Really, little lady?" Harry asks. I can see his excitement. I nod. "Yes!" Harry exclaims, picking me up and twirling me around. He sets me down right in front of him. I try to wriggle away, but Harry pulls me closer. He leans his head down for a kiss, and I turn my head away.

"Not just yet, Hook boy. You have to prove your worth first." I say quietly.

"Okay, boo." Harry says.

The scene changes, and I'm walking hand in hand with Harry.

"Babe?" Harry asks, stopping in the middle of the crowded street. I stop next to him, and look into his eyes.

"Hmm?"

"When am I allowed to kiss you?" Harry asks.

"You kiss me on the cheek all the time." I point out.

"No, on the lips, love bird." Harry says.

"I- I don't… know." I respond. I keep walking, but Harry catches my wrist, and pulls me into him. I so desperately fight the blush on my cheeks.

"My little love bug, please?" Harry asks, using big puppy dog eyes. Those same eyes I couldn't resist anyways, I remind myself gently.

I force myself to say no, but what comes out is, "Of course, Hook boy," all breathlessly. Harry leans down, and we share our first kiss. My first kiss of all time, and Mr. Flirt's one hundred and first. We pull apart after a few seconds. Harry wraps an arm around my waist, and the other around my upper back.

"I'll talk to you later, okay? I'll be at your dad's restaurant in a bit, cutie." Harry whispers in my ear. I nod and walk away. My heart is racing a million miles an hour. I walk into Dad's restaurant, and see he's wearing the apron.

"Dad." I say. He looks up. "Harry kissed me." I feel his rage before it happens. "Oh my gods, he kissed me." I repeat as it dawns on me. "He- he kissed me!" I exclaim. I brush my fingers over my lips.

"WHAT?!" Dad yells. "That blasted hooked pirate vermin kissed my goddess daughter!"

"He must really like me then." I mutter to myself. I hear Dad smashing things and generally just being angry behind me. "Oh my gods! Why is my stomach so fluttery?"

"When I first saw your real Mom, I felt the same thing. I think you're in love with him." Dad says quietly. I wrinkle my nose in disgust.

"Ew, no. There's no way I'm in love with him." I say, emphasizing the 'in love.'

"You are definitely in love, Hadie." Dad says. I scowl. "I know you. All 71,466 years that you've been alive."

"Yeah, yeah." I say, sitting down in the back. I hear the door open and close. I jump up and walk towards Harry.

"Hadie, my little picture perfect girl," he says, wrapping me in a hug.

"Harry." I say, snuggling my head into his chest. We stand like that for a few seconds, before Dad smacks Harry across the head.

"That's still my daughter." Dad says, glaring at him.

"I know, sir. And I promise to take extra good care of her." Harry says.

"No, I'll be taking care of myself." I say, rolling my eyes.

"This is why I lo- like you so much, boo bear." Harry says, pulling me in for a side hug. I flare my nostrils.

"And this is why I hate you." I say, half sarcastically.

"Nah. You keep me around… most days, at least." Harry says. I playfully punch him on the shoulder. "Ow. What was that for?"

"Because I wanted to." I reply. Dad leaves the room, leaving Harry and me alone. Harry pulls me closer to him, so we are standing chest to chest. I wrap my arms around his neck, and his arms pull tighter around my waist.

"Can I kiss you?" Harry asks, eyes flickering around.

"You don't have to ask." I say, bringing my lips to his. I tangle my hands in his hair, which for some weird reason was fluffy, but it wasn't before.

The scene changes again, to just a few months before I went to Auradon. Harry knocks on the door to the back.

"Hang on, Hook boy!" I call.

"I'm coming in, puppy face!" Harry yells.

"No!" I yell back.

"Stop yelling!" Dad yells. Harry opens the door anyways, and I glare at him. He grins at me, and sits on the bench that I'm sitting on.

"Hi, cutie pie." Harry says, slinging an arm around my shoulders. I fight the blush that threatens to come onto my cheeks.

"Hello, Hook." I say, still fighting the blush.

"Time for another awesome date with my favorite girl." Harry says.

"Can you not be all sappy this time?" I ask half sarcastically.

"No, it's my job, smiley face." Harry replies.

"Please, sweetie?" I ask.

"Nope. But do keep calling my nicknames, it's cute." Harry says. I scowl.

"I only use them when you're being rude to me." I pout. Harry rolls his eyes at me, and grins.

"So, all the time?"

"No, not at all." We sit in silence for a few seconds, Harry holding me close to him, and me breathing in the scent of the salty ocean on him. "How do you always smell like the ocean?" I ask.

"I don't know." Harry replies. We sit in silence for a few moments more, and Harry suddenly pulls me up, and leads me outside. I allow Harry to drag me to our abandoned building. The building is only used when Harry and I go up there to talk and enjoy each other's company without anyone else. We both sit on the edge of the building. Harry never lets me sit down without him having a strong grip on my waist to keep me from falling.

"Hadie…" Harry says.

"Hook boy…" I say in the same tone as him.

"I- nevermind." Harry says. I lean my head on his shoulder. We sit in silence, enjoying each other's company. A breeze comes through, and I snuggle closer to Harry. He rests his head on my head. Another breeze comes through, and I shiver. Harry pulls my legs onto his lap, and wraps both arms around me.

"Hook… I'm slipping."

"Oh, sorry, twinkletoes." Harry says, pulling me back onto the roof.

"It's fine. I'm fine." I reply. We sit on a crate we brought up for a chair. I get a spare piece of cloth we brought up for a blanket. I snuggle close to Harry, who puts an arm around my shoulders. We sit like that for a few seconds.

"Hadie?" Harry asks, breaking the silence.

"Yes, Hook boy?" I ask, looking up at him.

"Can I tell you something?"

"Anything."

"I- I love you." Harry whispers so quietly, I almost don't hear him.

"Huh?"

"I love you, gorgeous." he says a little louder. My heart beats wildly, and my face contorts into a scowl.

"Love is weak." I mutter.

"I love you, Hadie. Don't you love me?"

"I don't know what love feels like, and neither do you."

"You're right, but I still love you."

"And you're stubborn."

"But I love you, so I'll stick around, toots." I snort and Harry rests his chin on my shoulder. I poke his nose and he scrunches up his face. I giggle. We look at each other, eyes locked. Harry leans in, and I lean back. Harry's arm snakes around my waist, and he pulls me closer. We kiss, and pull apart after a few seconds. "I love you, my only."

"I- I think you should stop saying you love me. What if we lose our reputations and can't be together?" I ask, looking into his eyes.

"We'll be fine as long as we have each other."

"Ew, sappy. Gross." I joke.

"Hey, you like me enough to keep me around."

"It's not my fault you're good looking, dream boat."

"Aw, so you do love me."

"I never said that." I point out.

"Whatever." Harry says, pulling me in closer.

END DREAM/FLASHBACK:

I wake up, and look around.

"Harry, I love you." I whisper. I smile to myself, then fall back to sleep.

A/N: awwwwwwwwww. That was so awkward and cute at the same time. This chapter was just a filler chapter, but the next one has some drama, so be prepared. Also, I just- I just love Hades as a Dad. He is my favorite fictional Dad... better than even Remus (from Harry Potter), or James, or even Harry [Potter] himself. My favorite thing is that Hades has Hadie's (that's confusing) best interests at heart, like a Dad should. So, not like Jafar, or Hook in Descendants. (Not that we see Hook, we all just assume he's a horrible father) Although, I started watching OUAT and things from the Descendants universe are slowly starting to make sense. But that's another rant for another day. Hope you all have a good day today.
