After teleporting everyone up, I decide to change my clothes. Evie gives me a disapproving look.
"You like my dress?" I ask.
"Yeah." Evie replies. I nod, and go change anyways.
"There. More appropriate for lounging around." I say.
"That's… different." Evie says.
"I like to keep things a little wild." I reply.
"Yeah, you do." Mal says, rolling her eyes.
"Love you, too, sis." I reply dryly. Mal laughs at me. Then Jay, Carlos, Evie, and Doug all join in. "Stop laughing at me, you silly mortals." I say. Then, we all burst into laughter.
"There's no way Dad'll let me be mortal." Mal says between laughs.
"True." I reply. Mal checks the time.
"I have to go, Hadie," she says. I nod. "Bye, guys!" Mal says as I teleport her out. Soon, everyone else leaves. I walk into the gods and goddesses favorite hang out room.
"Uncle Zeus-y! I'm Home!" I call, while doing jazz hands. Uncle Zeus just glares at me. I giggle and flop down onto a couch. Mom hurries over and ushers me out of the room. I scowl at her.
"Having a conversation about the thing Harry hasn't told you." Mom says. I scowl deeper. She turns and goes back into the room. I teleport down to the underworld, only to find Cerberus and Sophie by themselves. I frown, and wait for dad. 10 minutes. Nothing. 15 minutes from there. Nothing.
"Bye, Sofie. Bye, Cerb. I'll be at Harry's tourney practice if Dad asks, okay?" I say to the dogs. I pet Sophie, and pat Cerberus' paw. I teleport up to the tourney field, of course right when they are getting water. I see guys gawk at me as I walk up to Harry. "Hook." I say simply.
"What did I do this time, Knockout?" Harry asks. I see the fear in his eyes as I smirk.
"You haven't told me what you are hiding." Harry scowls at me, and I scowl back.
"Is that the only reason you came here?" Harry asks, raising an eyebrow.
"Nah, Dad wasn't home. I was lonely." Harry furrows his eyebrows.
"Hades wasn't in the underworld?" I shake my head. "That's… odd."
"Thanks, Captain Obvious." I say sarcastically. The coach calls the team back out onto the field, and Harry gives me a quick kiss before he leaves. I blush a little, and sit on the bleachers. The coach comes up to me.
"You're a distraction."
"It's not my fault I'm gorgeous." I reply. The coach gives me a look.
"I'm going to have to ask you to leave." I turn and fully face him, a smirk growing on my face.
"Is that so?" I ask. He nods. "Oh. I'm going to have to call both my father and mother then. They won't be pleased."
"Your mother isn't a threat," the coach points out. My smirk grows.
"You haven't seen her rage. It's horrible and wonderful at the same time." At that, he pales. "Oh, wait. I forgot. I could be as bad as both of them combined because I am both of them combined."
"That's my girlfriend." I hear Harry shout.
"Be quiet, peasant, or else." I snal. I see Harry's eyes lighten the smallest bit, he finds this attractive. I turn back to the coach. "You see, one day you will bow to me, and you will be sorry. I'd suggest you don't, or it might get worse for you." I flip my hair and wave to Harry. Just like that, my rage was gone.
"Alright team, huddle up!" I hear the coach yell as he walks away. "No more bringing people to practice, understood?" I roll my eyes.
"Uh, Hadie is going to do whatever she wants. I can't control the girl." Harry says. I smile, and remember something.
FLASHBACK:
Almost a week after our first kiss, Harry and I had run into a few problems. For starters, we were being made fun of, but I had shut those people down almost immediately. And Harry introduced me to Uma, while smiling proudly. Harry had left me there while Uma had him run some errands.
"He's a flirt, I don't expect this to last long. And when you guys break up, or you go missing for a few days, he'll be with someone else before you can say, 'wait.'" Uma had told me.
I walked into a dark alleyway, on my way home I heard soft sobs coming from the middle of the alleyway. I frowned and walked towards the sobs. I heard a big coat hit the floor. I sit in front of the figure, and made my hair start to catch fire.
"H- Hadie?" I open my eyes and look at the person's face. Smudged guyliner, bright blue eyes.
"Harry?" I ask.
"Oh, Hadie." Harry says, throwing his arms around me.
"What happened?" I ask, concern lacing my voice.
"Well, at school-"
"One of the places I can't protect you at." I mutter.
"-some kids made fun of me being in love with you, a- and they said that you don't like me like that and only dated me for status." My face pales.
"Harry, I'm going to tell you something, and you aren't going to like it very much." I say slowly. Harry nods. "When I went on that first date with you, that was my motivation. But now, I see that was foolish. I wouldn't say that I love you, but it's pretty darn close." Even in the dark, I could see Harry's eyes darken.
"Why didn't you tell me?" Harry asks, his voice cracks.
"Because- because I care about you." Harry gives me a look.
"If you cared, you wouldn't have kept it a secret for so long."
"I couldn't crush you, Harry!" I cry. "I could see it in your eyes, and I couldn't say anything because I know how it feels when you want something and no one gives it to you." My voice shakes as I speak, but I don't care.
"You left me to find out from someone else." Harry points out.
"I care about you enough to tell you the truth." I say. Harry gives me a small smile and stands up.
"I'm sorry you had to see me like that, and you're right. You care about me." I smile at him. Harry takes my hand and leads me out of the alley. We walk through the crowded streets together.
"Hey, blue hair." I turn around, and glare. "I heard Harry hates the color blue and you as well."
"Heard the same story a million times." I counter. Harry squeezes my hand tighter.
"I bet you haven't heard that I caught him with another girl-" Harry was already trying not to explode, and he ended up exploding.
"Listen, keep your nose out of other people's business, or I'll hook you. What do you choose?" Harry asks, voice dangerously calm. I put a hand on his arm.
"Let me." I say softly. I glare at the dude. He glares back. I punch him in the face, then turn and smile at Harry.
"Control your girlfriend, Hook."
"No can do. Hadie will do whatever she wants whenever she wants. I can't control the girl."
END FLASHBACK
The coach shrugs, defeated, and they continue practice. Harry ends up looking my way a lot, and I smile at him every time. Practice ends quickly, and Harry jogs up to me.
"Hello, my gem." Harry says. Sweat drips off his forehead and he takes off his jersey. He hands me the dirty, sweaty jersey.
"What makes you think I want this?" I ask, furrowing my eyebrows.
"Because it's mine."
"Yeah, but it's nasty."
"I have at least three more 'cause I 'lost' them." Harry says.
"Harry Hook." I say, lightly slapping him. "That's not good." Harry smirks at me, and I glare.
"I know. But who said I was good?"
"I did, mortal." Harry snorts at me. I roll my eyes at him.
"Want me to take you home, Hadie Bear?" Harry asks.
"No, but we can teleport there together." I reply. I teleport us to the Underworld. "Dadddd! I'm homeeee!" I call into the empty space. No answer. "Huh. I guess he still isn't ho-me." I see all the souls lined up, waiting for dad. Harry's eyes widen in shock at all the souls.
"Are they waiting for your dad?" Harry asks.
"No, someone who will judge them." I reply. I go and sit on Dad's throne. "Watch and learn, Hook boy." I clear my throat. "Not another word, peasants." The room stays silent. I judge a handful of souls, when Harry taps me on my shoulder. I turn to face him.
"I have to go, Beauty Queen." Harry says. I smile at his nickname for me.
"Then go, I won't stop you. I know you're busy doing pirate stuff." I joke. Harry glares at me. I giggle. Chatter had broken out among the souls, and they became dead silent at my giggles. Harry gives me a quick kiss.
"See you tomorrow, my jewel."
I know I'm blushing bright red when I say, "I love you, blue eyed stud." Harry giggles this time, and blushes. I teleport him away, smiling. I sigh, and rest my face in my hand.
"Young love." a soul says, snapping me out of my thoughts.
A/N: I- I just love the flashback. Harry and Hadie are softies and it warms my heart. I love my ship. Have a nice day.
