I get up, and get dressed just like any other normal day. But, today isn't normal. The first full day of me being engaged. Yeah, not normal. I walk out of my room, and sit down in Dad's lair.
"Hi." I jump and turn to Dad, who is standing in the shadows.
"Hi, Dad."
"You should go up to the land with sunlight." I snort.
"So should you."
"I have a full time job, Mrs. Hook." Dad says with a laugh.
"Thanks, sir." This time Dad snorts.
"You just do whatever you're going to do with those mortals."
"I will. See you, Dad." I teleport up to Auradon. I barely land, when Jay comes out of nowhere.
"Hadie!" he exclaims. "You'll never believe what Harry said to me."
"What did he say?" I ask.
"He said that you are his everything."
"Awwww. Next time I see him, I'm going to tell him Auradon has made him soft." Jay and I both burst into laughter.
"That will be an interesting interaction."
"Yeah, it will." Jay gives me a small smile. "I should get going. I'll see you later." I open up the door to Evie's place, and Uma looks up.
"Hey, H."
"Hello." I walk farther into the castle. "Any idea where my fiance is?" Uma snorts, then points to the stairs.
"Up there. Probably hanging pictures of you on his bedroom walls." I laugh.
"Thanks, Uma. I'll do the same thing."
"No, seriously. His dorm is decked out with pictures of you."
"Auradon made him soft." I say with a laugh.
"Auradon did not make me soft." Harry says from the stairs. I roll my eyes at him.
"Yeah, and I'm not your finance." Harry glares at me, and I giggle.
"Ew." Uma says in disgust. Harry and I both laugh. Uma glares at us, then leaves the room. Harry drags me upstairs. When we get to his room, there are pictures of me everywhere. I swear, they are literally everywhere.
"How do you have so many pictures of me?" I ask in awe.
"Because you're beautiful."
"I already knew that." I point out. I sit down on a chair by the wall. Celia walks in, sees me and leaves. I get up and follow her to Dizzy, Quelle and her room. "Hey, guys." I say walking into the room. They all visibly flinch.
"Go away." Quelle says.
"Nah, I'm rotten to the core. I don't take orders."
"Clearly." Dizzy says. I roll my eyes.
"C'mon you guys. You're the only ones who haven't-"
"For a good reason." Celia speaks up.
"I'm sorry. Did the middle of my sentence interrupt the beginning of yours?" I ask, faking offence. Celia glares. "Hey, has Audrey been around? Were you okay?" Celia rolls her eyes.
"Not like it matters. You're selfish."
"I actually care about you, and want to help you. Celia, I know I couldn't keep that a secret forever." I reason.
"Yeah, Celia. She's just trying to help." Dizzy says, turning to me. "So… engaged, huh?"
"Yep. Feels like a fairytale. He- He's awesome. And I love him." Dizzy silently fangirls, and I smile. Harry pops his head in.
"My beautiful, precious, wonderful, amazing girl… Can you come here?" I blush bright red.
"I'll be back later, little ones." I get glares from all three of them. I laugh as I leave the room. "So." I say as we walk.
"I have something to tell you." I raise an eyebrow. "It's not like a lie or secret or anything." We reach the room with me all over the walls. "So… let's go back to the Isle when we were kids."
FLASHBACK (from Harry's POV):
I sit at a table at Evie's birthday party. EQ plans to try to overthrow Maleficent. I see two girls with blue hair and brown eyes. One is Evie, and the other I've never seen before. The one I've never seen sits down with Hades, Cruella De Vil, Gaston, Shan Yu, and Yzma. She does an evil laugh, but it sounds like angels laughing.
"Hadie!" Hades says as he sits down.
"Hi, Dad." she says with a big smile. I get tapped with a hook, and turn to see Dad.
"Drooling over her, son?"
"I'm not drooling over her." I say, furrowing my eyebrows. Dad walks away, and Harriet sits down. "What?" I ask, annoyed.
"Sheesh. I was just going to say that I saw Maleficent coming and some stuff is about to go down."
"Got popcorn?" I ask sarcastically.
"Always." Harriet replies and hands me a bucket of moldy stuff. I watch as Maleficent bans EQ and Evie. Everyone files out, but I see Hadie's hesitation as she passes Maleficent and her daughter, Mal. I watch her leave, and possibly the last time I'll ever see her.
The next day, at the marketplace, I see Hadie using sarcasm to everyone, and anyone, who dares get in her way. I find myself drooling, again, and walk away. No matter how much I wanted to stay.
Time skip to the next year, I hadn't seen Hadie in over a year. I see her casually swipe apples, fish, whatever foods she sees from vendors when they turn their backs. Hades' Greek restaurant is right around the corner, and she walks inside. I don't follow.
"Hey, Harry." Gil tapps my shoulder. "Why were you following that blue haired girl?"
"Oh, I think she might be a threat." I say nonchalantly. Gil nods and leaves me alone, wishing I knew her and had the courage to walk up to her. This opportunity did present itself, only years later.
I had learned a lot from following the girl with blue hair. I had learned that I really badly wanted to talk to her. That's all. In sixth grade, I was twelve, I saw her walking to school after months of not seeing her.
"She's gorgeous." I breathe out. I overheard her conversation with her dad, Hades.
"Yeah, Mal said Maleficent's scepter is in the woods. I'm going to go save it. Maybe then, the Aurdonians will think I'm a hero and let me live with them so I can cause havoc and let you all out."
"Good thinking, but they are too wrapped up in their perfect little world." Hades spits out.
"Those Auradonians have no idea how much power I have," she says with an air of sarcasm. They both laugh, and I hear her angelic evil laugh.
"We will break free." Hades says with an evil smirk.
"Yes, we will. I have scheming class first, so Mal, Jay, and I can finalize these details."
"Yeah. Hey, where did your sarcasm go?"
"Oh, I don't know." Hadie says sarcastically. "Maybe right here?"
"That's my goddess daughter. Have a wicked day at school."
"You have a wicked day." A plan forms in my head. Get a reputation for being the most sarcastic so then she talks to me. Perfect. If anything goes wrong, this won't work.
Five years later- yes FIVE- Hadie had come up to me.
"Hey, Hook." she said, an evil smirk plastered onto her face. I paled. Did she know I've been following her?
"Hi… blue haired girl." I say, not wanting to let it show that I had stalked her.
"My name is Hadie, thanks for asking." she says sarcastically.
"Oh, you are the sarcastic one." I say, as if it just dawned on me. Clearly not the case.
"Oh, you are the one who thinks he can out sarcast me, a goddess." Hadie says, faking a smile.
"A goddess?" I ask, raising an eyebrow even though I already knew this.
"My father is Hades. Therefore, I am Hadie, lady of the underworld, goddess of the dead. Hi, how ya doing?" she says sarcastically. She can't know I stalked her.
"You have only been sarcastic, Hadie. I am the most sarcastic." I say.
"Oh, you want to start a war, Hook? You have been warned. No one out sarcasts Hadie. Ever." Hadie says. I laugh.
"I'll start a war with you, and I'll win." I say confidently.
"Game on, Hook. You will totally win." Hadie says sarcastically. She leaves before I can say anything.
"You choose Hadie?" Uma asks. "After I warned you?" I shrug.
"She's gorgeous." I respond, and Uma rolls her eyes. Over the next few days, we go back and forth. Sarcastic comment after sarcastic comment. It's quite tiring.
"Oh, yeah because you think you're so much better than me." Hadie says.
"And I'm not? Last time I checked, I am the most sarcastic." I say.
"Boo-hoo to you. Wake up and smell the stink! I, Hadie, have never been beaten, and I won't start now!" She declares to the whole marketplace. I glare at her.
"You're lying to yourself, and we both know it." I say softly, stalking closer to her. She gives me a glare. "I'm totally going to lose." I add sarcastically.
"Oh, if you're going to win, then I'm going to Bore-a-don tomorrow and ruling the world as we speak." Hadie says extra sarcastically. I'm shocked for a second, then I let it go.
"You only want me to win so you can keep seeing my pretty face." I say, earning a glare. How I wish it was true.
"If I wanted you to win, you'd have already won." Hadie says, turning and glaring at me. Our eyes lock, and I find that I want to stay with her eyes piercing my own. Hades walks up, and I ignore them. She turns and gives me a smirk. "I'm gonna win." she says.
"And I'm off this island." I say, grinning. She looks confused. "Oh, I'm sorry, Princess. I was merely stating the impossible." I see the anger in her eyes.
"I'm no princess. I'm a goddess. Forget the difference, and your soul will be forever trapped," she says, voice dangerously low.
"No, yours will. In case you forgot, I've got the best looks on the island." I say with a smirk. I find myself just wishing she looked at me like that.
"Excuse me?" Hadie asks.
"You're excused, your majesty." I say, still smirking.
"Real funny." Hadie snarls. "My servants are waiting."
"They can keep waiting, 'cause you aren't walking away until I win." I say.
"Then we'll be here forever," she drawls out. "Good thing I'm immortal."
"Hey, quick question." I say, earning a glare. "Are you sure you aren't the goddess of being annoying?"
"Are you sure that's a real hook, Hook boy?" she counters. I purse my lips, looking for a response.
"No… but I'm sure you think I should win." I say after a long pause.
"Ugh! No! I'm proud of you though, that must've taken all three of your brain cells. Congratulations." Hadie says, patting me on the shoulder.
"I always knew that I somehow impressed you." I say with a smirk. Wait, does she like me like that?
"Oh, please! You wish!" I glare at her, again… "You're a hot mess." Hadie says, going to walk away.
"Did you just say that I'm hot?" I ask. She thinks I'm hot!
"Who in their right mind would even think about calling you hot?" Hadie asks, turning around. My hope deflates.
"But you think I'm hot?" I ask with a smirk.
"Like the flames in hell. Nearly as unbearable to say the least." Hadie says, now smirking as I furrow my eyebrows.
"Right." I say, dragging out the word. "And you still think I'm hot."
"Yeah, sure." Hadie says sarcastically. Yes! What I had said dawned on me, and my cheeks became redder. "Awe, are you blushing?" Hadie asks.
"No, you win." I grumble, walking away. I walk over to the pier, sit and decide to go to Ursula's Fish and Chips.
"You beat Harry Hook in a sarcasm war?" Uma asks as I walk in. I freeze in place.
"Yeah, I'm the most sarcastic on the island. I expect you to leave my friends alone on our turf." Hadie says.
"Who are your friends?" Uma asks.
"Mal, Evie, Jay, and Carlos." Hadie says. I figured Uma was trying to use Hadie for info. "Anyways, where are Pain and Panic when you need them?"
"So, uh, you beat Harry, our Harry Hook, in a sarcasm war?" Uma asks. Hadie nods, and her hair catches fire. She catches the chair on fire too. "I can't take you seriously when you're setting my favorite chair on fire!" Uma exclaims.
"Literally nothing is happening to it. You can chill out now." Hadie says.
"So, you beat Harry Hook in a sarcasm war?"
"Yes! Pay attention, or you'll be burned." Hadie threatens.
"I just can't believe Harry was beat," she pauses, "So, you're sure you're sure?"
"The lass is right, Uma." I say from behind Hadie.
"Oh, hey, Hook. I wasn't expecting you to be here. This just gives me time to rub in the fact that I beat you!" Hadie exclaims. I glare at her.
"This isn't any place for some goddess, Hadie." I warn. Suddenly, I feel as if I should protect her with everything I have.
"Why not? I'm the most feared on this island. I can be wherever I want to be."
"Always got a comeback?" I ask, mildly amused.
"Of course I do." Hadie replies with a smirk.
END FLASHBACK(Back to Hadie's POV)
"Sorry I didn't notice you sooner." I say with a giggle.
"I'm not sorry I stalked you." Harry says. I roll my eyes at him, and he chuckles. "At least I love you."
"Love you, too." I reply, fiddling with the sleeves of my shirt.
"What's wrong, love?" Harry asks.
"Nothing." I say, not quite meeting his eyes.
A/N: not more drama there. Nope, not at all. Have a nice day y'all.
