A/N: sorry y'all. I took a much needed break from social media, and almost forgot to update. Since school is starting, I'm going to be busy, so I'll start to update on Saturdays- if I can. Sorry again, and enjoy this chapter!
"Do you know anything about me? Anything at all? What's my name? Do I have any friends? Am I in love with anyone? Where am I? What's my family like? Do I have any family? Tell me anything." Harry pleads.
"Your name is Harry. Harry Hook. Son of Captain K- James Hook. You're in Auradon. I have- not met your family… yet." I pause. How do you tell your fiance he was cursed? "Y- You're in love with-"
"-me!" a voice says from out of nowhere. I turn and face her. Ally, again. "Stop talking to this brunette and her sister." Ally snarls. I change my appearance to myself.
"Stop talking to me? Ally, I could kill you."
"Harry and Ally. What a cute combination." Harry says to himself. I freeze in horror.
He's not okay. He's not okay. He's not okay. This isn't him, I tell myself.
"No, you love me." I say, voice breaking. "It has always been you, Harry. I love you so much." I go to kiss him, to break the spell.
"He isn't love spelled, Hadie. Excuse me, your majesty." Ally says sarcastically. "True love's kiss won't work, and he doesn't love you."
"Fine, Ally. You win. You took the only guy I'd ever fallen for. Go, be happy. Pretend I don't exist." I say. I teleport away before she can respond. I throw myself onto my bed as soon as I get back. I cry my heart out. I think I've run out of tears, but they keep coming. "I loved you. I loved you so much." I say between sobs. I decide to change my clothes. Pajamas will do. I throw myself back onto the bed, tears still streaming down my face.
He still loves you, a voice in the back of my mind says.
"He never did." I argue with the voice, before shutting it down. I continue to cry, and cry, and cry. I cried so much, I was sure I'd have to have Uncle Poseidon clear all the water. I let out a strangled sob when I realize Ally probably removed all of the pictures of me from his walls.
Did he really mean what he said? Or was it all a ruse? Did he really want to marry me? I sob into my pillow instead. I remember all of the silly nicknames he created. Another sob.
"I was warned about this. I should've listened. How could I have been so foolish?" I ask aloud, hoping for answers. Nothing. "He never loved me." A new emotion arised. Anger, frustration, evil. No, I will not resort to violence. The little monster of anger, frustration, jealousy, and hatred boiled up inside of me. "I am not going to choose EVIL!" I yell, making a few rock pieces tumble off the walls. "I won't!" I pace around a few times. "I'm hungry. I'll eat something then form a plan." I ate a large piece of chocolate.
"Hadie, are you okay?" Mom asks, putting a hand on my arm. The last person who did that was Harry.
"Yeah, I'm fine." I say with a forced smile. "I'll manage." As soon as she walks away, I burst into silent tears. "I loved you, I loved you, I loved you." I say quietly. I teleport up to Evie's castle.
"Hadie!" Mal exclaims, alarmed. "A- are you okay?" she asks, wrapping me in a hug.
"No." I answer honestly. Evie comes rushing out.
"Oh no. Hadie, what happened?" Evie asks. My other friends all come outside and wrap me in a hug. I recount what happened to them, and they all listen to me with rapt attention.
"That's horrible." Jane says, her eyes filled with tears for me. I nod.
"I thought he changed." Jay says, walking away to most likely scream at Harry- even though Harry can't hear him.
"He couldn't have. I saw the way he looked at you." Carlos says, shaking his head in disbelief. Audrey wraps me in a hug.
"I know how you feel, Hadie." she says, rubbing soothing circles on my back.
"I'm sorry you had to see me like this." I say, looking up at each and every one of them. A tear leaks when I realize Harry said those exact words to me. They bring me inside, and there's a knock on the door.
"Hi, Harry and I are here. He hit his head." Ally's voice says. I bolt upright. Mal pushes me back down onto the sofa. Evie comes around the corner with a very forced smile, Harry and Ally right behind her. They were holding hands. I fight the urge to cry and sob.
"Hey." I say nonchalantly. "I didn't know Evie allowed blondes like you in her wonderful home." I say to Ally. Then, it clicks. We'll just have to start from the sarcasm war. A smirk appears on my face.
"That's her scheming face." Celia says from the stairs. I turn to face her. "I forgive you," she mouths. I grin at her. I turn back to Harry and Ally.
"Hope you don't mind, but it's really bothering me, you know, having you here. I'll have to take it up with my Uncle Zeus." I see Harry's eyes widen. "But since you're here, I have a proposal." Ally gives me a look.
"I'm not marrying you."
"Good, I'm not either." I pause. "We will have a sarcasm war, and whoever wins gets to, if you win, keep Harry, and if I win… I don't know what I want." I say, faking the fact that I didn't know what I wanted.
"Deal." Ally says. I smirk.
"Good. You'll win, by the way." I add with sarcasm. Ally makes a face.
"Yeah, I will. Boo-hoo to you."
"Oh, sweetie, that's not sarcasm. You're not cut out for this type of stuff. It might be because you're a princess."
"You're a princess. I'm not." Ally says.
"Oh, okay. Sorry, I hit my head and forgot." I smirk as Ally's face twists to rage, realizing I figured out her lie. "That's right. I know you lied about that. I know Harry didn't hit his head." I say softly, walking towards Ally as she backs away.
"I still have him, and you don't." Ally points out.
"Oh, oops. I forgot. You don't really have him." I add in an evil laugh. I turn, and Harry catches my eye. Ally pales, before walking away from me and kissing Harry. Fury builds inside of me. Harry doesn't move to meet her, so she kisses him on the cheek.
"Harry…" Ally tries.
"He doesn't love you, Ally. He never tried to beat you in a sarcasm war, he never asked your dad if he could take you on a date because he had liked you for a long time, he never asked you if he could kiss you because he had wanted to so desperately, you never had an abandoned building that he'd take you to, he never told you he loved you even if you didn't love him, you never comforted him while he was sad, he never bought you a hook necklace to remember him by, he never proposed to you and you never said you'd think about it, you never watched him from afar, you never had him watching you from afar for years before you noticed him. He doesn't love you." My voice cracks.
"So? You'll never get him back." Ally says, grinning.
"What if she did?" Harry asks. I scowl at him. "She's right, Ally. I don't love you. How could I when you removed all my memories so then I'd be with you instead? I don't love you, I love Hadie." I almost cry with joy, but I hold back my tears. "Hadie is the most amazing person I've ever met. You need to learn how to deal with the fact that I'm not in love with you."
"HARRY HOOK! HOW COULD YOU DO THAT TO HADIE!" Jay screams. I laugh at him.
"You're a good brother, but it's been resolved." I say with a smile.
"Aw." Uma says almost mockingly. I glare at her, and she holds up her hands in surrender.
"Well, Jay, Miss Kingsleigh here decided to mess with mine and Hadie's relationship. I still don't know what happened between us, but I know I'm not in love with Ally and possibly in love with Hadie." Harry explains.
"You went soft." I say, raising an eyebrow at Harry.
"I did not… I think."
"I'm right." Harry rolls his eyes at me, and pulls me in for a hug. He gives me a small kiss. I try to hide the bright red blush on my cheeks.
"There… now I remember everything." Harry says, his eyes raking over my face. I think my blush got brighter. Harry runs his hook through my hair, and I try to wriggle free. "Hadie…" he tries.
"No, Harry. I don't trust you anymore." I say, avoiding his gaze.
"Hadie, please, I was spelled. You know I'd never even think about leaving you. What can I do to regain your trust?" Harry says, his voice cracking.
"My answer remains unchanged." Mal roughly takes me by the elbow, and drags Uma and Evie with her. I scowl as she pushes me into the other room.
"WHAT ARE YOU THINKING?!" Mal screams.
"My poor eardrums." I say, trying to ease the tension.
"We both know you are in love with Harry and vice versa. You can trust him because you love each other." Uma says with a glare.
"Okay, Mom." I say, earning a few glares.
"C'mon Hadie… you know we're right. He looks at you like you're the only person in the room. It's so obvious." Evie says.
"Thank you. I'll keep that in mind when I kill him."
"Hadie, he loves you so much. Don't break his heart again." Uma says. That's when everything spilled out.
A/N: I'm still leaving you on cliffhangers. I'm not changing that. And now I have more drama that I should probably fix, but I don't really want to. Ever.
